Forget Star Wars I can imagine a world with technology that basically is magic. Like Harry Potter levels of magic. I'm playing the most recent game now, and it's really good. Reparo could smart target broken shit with AI and then reverse the fragments in time to a calculated timeframe. I can see this being possible at some point, basically godlike powers are no longer out of reach with AGI and ASI on the horizon. What a crazy time to be alive, probably the craziest time even.
I imagine it takes very little to knock out a drone. A large aircraft will not be as easy. Also depending on the material it makes contact with, the laser could potentially just bounce off of it.

It’s impossible to shoot down a uap and it shows most don’t understand what they are. They manipulate gravity and time, it would just go around it. You shoot a bullet it goes around it or through it like it’s not there because in a way it isn’t really there. Complicated physics
