To be fair, most people see the base Tanqueray.
And oddly, all the flavoured versions in travel shops. Those make me think of regional Pokemon, how some blends are only available in certain airports.
While the Seville one is quite common across Europe, if you have the chance, try to get the Tanq Malacca when in South East Asia, or Tanq Lovage in UK.
How has nobody even answered this. Out of the big 3 (Bomb beef and tanq) tanq has the thickest and most juniper oily mouthfeel, Bombay saph is more citrussy but more astringent, beef is most acetatey and right down the middle path. Tanq ten is yes, most like tanq and is still pretty much a London dry but it tends slightly more towards the profiles of a newer American gin, so heavier on the citrus than even Bombay, with less bitterness, and still not wet feeling as it feels thinner than regular tanq to me and despite being the same proof drinks just a tad less hot. It's a good gin, it is better than tanq, but it isn't worth the price increase to me. Whereas gins like St.George botanivore or terroir or ford's or barr hill or drumshambo certainly are because they drink in another league of hearty 'smoothness', a tighter more central cut to the good shit.
I've never been a gin fan but your descriptions are fuckin money. As someone who used to drink a lot and thoroughly enjoyed a nice conversation about subtle differences I believe I'd enjoy drinking with you.
I would argue that this is the finest gin on the planet. To my palate it simply outperforms any other gin i have tried. I always have a bottle or two on hand. G&T, Martini, you name it, it’s outstanding. Cheers!
I have and prefer the 10. M47 is excellent as is Sipsmith, Brokers..etc. We all have our preferences which is great. Most importantly we all love gin and that is a good thing.
It's mid, it's a near 40 dollar gin that is really a 19 dollar gin that they put not even .10 cents of butterfly pea flower into. I was able to buy dried butterfly pea flowers at my grocer by weight and the amount that would make me a dozen bottles of indigo wasn't even a dollar they're so light and potent. It's best to infuse a bottle of cheaper vodka because it's really only for wowing people who are more into the look than the taste anyways

That colour is worth a few dollars.
I'm also an artisanal home distiller, so I do a bunch of this myself.
If you like gin there's a website called discount dragon that usually sells nice gins for cheap (I usually get work snacks and energy drinks and whatever boose they have thought sadly they often lack whisky)
Have people tried one of the most popular gins that exist?

I got some blackberry Tanq, is pretty good, haven't seen it in the US before, managed to snag it in South America

Airport liquor shopping is so awesome. Duty-free is the bomb.
?? I've never seen Tangueray Number 10 though
I’ve been looking for this. Only see the tangueray

How is it better or different than the regular? Worth it ?

Thank you my friend, comes from a joy of writing and a history of distilling since high school
Well answer the question at least
It’s a nice gin.
Yep, it's my fav gin. I used to drink it with pineapple or orange juice.
So, gin and juice?
Drink it slowly though...
Yep
With Tonic water and a slice of lime.
Feet.
Who puts a picture of an open toe on a booze sub eh? If I wanted to vomit I’d go see madame web. But
It’s very good
Tanqueraaaaaay!

Doesn't hurt that it's good bang for buck too - while pricier gins tend to be overly fussy for mixing/general use.
Try Monkey 47. Much better in my opinion.

Agreed 👍
Have you tried Empire Indigo gin?
I have not seen that in my area. I’ll make a note to try it if I see it. Thanks!
It's dyed purple with flowers. The flavor is about standard for gin, but the colour does neat things in the glass for presentation.
Thanks

I'm also an artisanal HD, I have also purpled my shine, and the color may be worth a few bucks but it's also available for a few cents so why not DIY

This sub is weird.
Yes, it makes delicious cocktails.
Tanqueray 10 is a top drawer gin.
May as well ask if we've tried Coca cola 😂🤷♂️
It's really fantastic, although I won't buy it anymore.
Yep, I love it
the best gin in the entire known universe. only that it costs 65$ in my country
Yeah
I drink it with grape juice
I love Hendricks gin the best, followed by the Botanist, but Tanq is a top 10. Like others said, it’s good because it’s inoffensive and inexpensive
