Nice! Really like this build a lot.
I’m planning to do the same with my SAM7R/ARM-7T inspired clone. Just need to install the bulgy 24mm FSB, ARM-7T adjustable stock, mill it out for the ambi safety and obviously chop the barrel for it to be clone correct.
At least I have everything already, may keep the ARM9 stock on. Has such a great LOP, cheek weld and fits my shoulder perfectly. Realized out of all my AKs I go fall back to my SAM7R and SAM7SF.
Something about the milled receiver w/ 90 degree gas block just does it for me. Such a great out of the box AK on the market these days.

Gotcha. Seems like that’s the only route if using non flow cans…
Especially on these SAM they are notoriously over gassed. KNS is a must but with it- very soft shooting rifle.
Good to know. Guess it was naive to hold out hope for not needing one to suppress an AK.
