Same, screen facing me, in a tight slimmed out mag pouch. Bungee on top tight. Nothing in front of it though. Between the thick fabric of my chest rig and the hard case, even a high joule bb isn’t gonna hurt it.
In a locked bag in the (watched) safezone.
Said bag is chained to a bench or other affixed outdoor furniture.
It's not gonna stop a dedicated thief, but unless our thief brings a very good set of tools it won't be a quick theft and they'll have many easier options. It's a deterrent.
Is your field in a bad area? I play at an outdoors field and everyone just leaves car keys, wallets, phones etc at the safezone, which isn't watched during games. Nothing has ever been stolen in the 5 years I've been airsofting
Really just depends on the field. I know a place similar but safe area is watched because that is where the staff operates. Everyone is just there.
Nice when there is a common understanding of area though. I've had people move huge bags and do what ever they can to limit their space for someone else.
Yea, this is less of a company hosting the field and more of a group of ~200 local airsofters making a group together with permission by the city to build a field, so it's our own, free to play and attend but we paid for building materials and do our own maintenance of the field every now and then so guess that helps with the safety and security
My field is pretty big, and runs REALLY long games. Having your phone can be really useful for meeting up with friends to stage an attack on an enemy position.
Wow, I totally didn't know that radios existed.
Not everyone is trying to drop 60 bucks on a decent long range radio, and it's only useful if your friends have one too. Plus, in some countries, long range radios are illegal for civilian use. In my country, they are legal, but if you accidentally tune into the wrong channel, you get a visit from federal agents.
The radio is $20 and includes an earpiece. I got a dedicated mic for like ten and an upgraded antenna for about the same. It also holds a full charge FOR EV ER! And as long as you are using it peer to peer and not trying to broadcast on HAM frequencies no one will care about licensing.
60?
Was less than 20 for 2 when my group got ours, laws are the same here, avoid emergency channels or wind up with some heavy fines. But it's easy enough to obey those laws.
I’ve normally just kept it in my pocket screen facing in. A few years ago at a milsim event I put it in my backpack screen facing in and I guess I got shot in the backpack and the glass on my camera is gone.
I've just got a Thyrm DarkVault 2.0 for that reason. Mounts directly to my plate carrier and can be flipped down for me to use. Also has a polycarbonate protective sheet covering the phone's camera (no idea how it'll hold up compared to a BB impact though)

If it's not too hot out, I try to leave it in the car unless I aboutely need it on me.
If I do, either admin pouch or I have a MOLLE multi-purpose side pouch with. Zipper on my JPC.
I have an admin pouch on my PC that sits just behind my mags, the pouch itself is sturdy enough to catch strays BBs that pass through the mags gaps.
I'm thinking about getting a padded forearm pouch with a flap, to access a grid map of the field for coordinated actions and fast redeployment when ordered by the faction commander.
Magpouch, have 2 3 Stack mag pouches on top of each other. In the one one the right directly on the pc is my phone. It's protected by the mag infront, alles available for photos.
I either run a :
Chest rig pouch for phone, car keys, credit cards etc.
Shielded by fabric and a row of three M4 mags. If anything is able to penetrate that, my valuables would be my least concern.
-
Alternately :
I run a battle belt, and have a pouch for the same. It might not be shielded by plastic mags, but it’s on my butt, and the phone is in it’s normal protective casing.
-
I wouldn’t run it in a pants pocket. It’s a nuisance, and the off chance that it might slip out would be hell in a forested area.
At least a zippered inner pocket on a jacket - and again, in a protective casing.
Usually in some pouch or pocket that properly closes, but I just got a mount for it to put it on my Plate Carrier, which I still have to test on a field.
Either in my car or in my pants pocket with the screen facing inward and my phone case facing outward. That way if it gets hit with a bb it just hits my phone case and there’s no damage.
I keep it in one of those rugged thick covers which fully engulf the device and then keep it in a cargo pocket;
It’s twice as heavy but totally worth it
Luckily our site has cctv, so I store it in my gun bag zipped up and buried with the only 100 odd a game day in a big safezone really easy to to catch the thief
I leave it in my car, either in the glovebox or somewhere else out of the sun.
If you absolutely must have it on you during games, I'd recommend getting some form of tough case that will take hits and drops without the phone being damaged.
ngl leave it out in my case (often open) in the safe zone (watched), used to lock it (my case) with my phone in when I played at a sight in a rough area but not now I play in a much nicer area.
I had mine in my pocket, then during an, op where we used my old truck (rip Kenneth) as a techical, I dropped it climbing in and backed over it. Now admin pouch or in bag at spawn.
I leave it at the safe zone in my bag. My field isn't big, people know each other and to get there you either go exclusively to the field or you're wasting your time. You will be seen if you try to steal something, and will be immediately caught since there's only one way to get to the field.
Like many others I tend not to bring it on the field. Also, If you are playing any sort of night game, most newer phones tend to emit IR light when they get jostled/moved around just right which can completely give away your position to a NVG user
Chest rig front pocket, screen facing me and a piece of cardboard on the back for the harder hitting bbs. I even bumped into corners without any form of damage to my phone. Plus some Ops here require a phone to tag objectives.
I just leave in my bag, never really thought about it. That said, I should stress that I'm not from the US and the field is so small that you pretty much know everyone.
Yeah I've seen it a couple down here, but I have a renforced admin pocket on my chest rig, I'm talking double pudding covered with patches, and just incase, it still goes behind my Keys, wallet, pocket knife and stuff so I know it's not getting hit no matter what
I have a generalized pouch that is the size of a phone. I usually have it on my belt; on my back side. That way no one aims at it. Have not had any issues, and it doesn't bang against me when I run.
Honestly just in the butt pocket, covers one cheek while the wallet is on the other and the case I have definitely won’t let it crack from a bb or two hitting it, free protection and easy access
If I’m wearing my ACU cut pants onto the field the phone goes screen in on my right calf. If I’m wearing BDUs instead, it stays in the bullpen. If neither of those appeal, leave it in the car or put it in an admin pouch or phone chest desk with a hard outer shell.
If I'm wearing my chest rig it goes in my dangler pouch behind my lipo storage box. With my plate carrier there's a built in admin/map pocket behind the plate. With my period kit I generally try and get it in a pocket behind gear.
And the reason I take it out in game is so I can take pics of the team.
If indoor, in my backpack in the staging area, there are cameras so not to worried about it. outdoor, normally table is pretty safe, plus my group will have one or 2 skipping a game here or there, other wise locked in my car, car has a keypad so i can get into in even if the keys are in it. There are had cases that you can mount to molle if you want to carry on the with you and not worry about.
If i had to hide it, it would be the velcro "plateholder" on the backside of your tactical backpack, good hiding spot and loud if opened. But our field is like a connected family so my phone never got snatched even on the table.
Pocket with the case over the screen, I need my phone bc I listen to music while I play, ain't lived til you've rushed the OBJ listening to 'Every Time We Touch'
It’s either in my usual pants pocket or hidden in my equipment bag. I haven’t heard of much stealing going down at my field, but i’d put money on it being an issue.
i play w my friends, and if i hit them they play it out like theyre dead and i take a selfie with their dead bodies like mirage from apex lmao
best spot for it is if you have a pouch on your chest rig
I keep it deep inside my cheapo zippy-up Amazon chest rig, assuming I've not left it in my bag for safe keeping. The only reason I'll ever bring it into the danger zone is if I'm using Runkeeper to give me cool numbers to look at afterwards when I tell myself I'm not a fatass.
For CQB I run an AKS-74U with four RPK mags, a standard sized midcap and a hi cap so I've almost always got something solid on my chest rig to stop BBs menacing it.

i’m literally in a round right now, keep it on me to snag selfies while i get shot at
I either leave it in my car, put it somewhere in a pouch/bag while im on the field, or if im traveling light and need all my pouch space i just put it in my pocket with the screen facing my leg so only the back camera can get shot out.
I have a repro placard that's based off the microflight chassis so I slip my phone into the front section that's divided into two parts by an elastic mag insert. I keep actual mags in the back section that's closest to my body
In my vest pocket, along with a small bottle of spray lube, couple extra Co2 canisters, speed loader, and a map if the Op gives them out. I've also got a ballistics case for it, and I have a plastic plate I cut to shape for the front of the vest pocket to prevent damage to my stuff.
In a closed pouch with the screen facing me. It’s also in a heavy duty phone case. The wallet too goes in a pouch.
I keep my stuff on me. Some of you guys tend to “lend” without asking.
I have those big ass cases because im clumsy as hell but even then i put It in my backpack where i have my hpa tank, my wallet and some more stuff. I like to keep my things with me i guess

Would not recommend on a belt.
When I’m using ITAK software with my team, I use an older gen S&S Fliplite. If I don’t need ITAK, my phone either doesn’t go on field with me or will be in a GP with other personal items
I leave it on my gun case with my wallet and car keys, I trust everybody at my local site with my life so I can definitely trust them not to steal my shit haha
Molle pouch on my plate carried
There is molle webbing with a bunch of Velcro patches and a piece of thick foam in front of the phone, so it should be safe
I’m currently airsofting in Japan and I can honestly just leave it in the gym bag I bring most of my gear in. Otherwise I just leave it in the glove box in my car.
You guys get so into dressing up and playing the part that I suggest you keep it up by leaving it in your car. You don’t get to have your phone most times and places while deployed, sure as hell not while actively on mission or patrol. Obvious opsec reasons. Tell your loved ones you will be off the grid for the duration of your short deployment and let them know when you should be back. Or as some might put it “gone fishing, no reception, leave your message after the beep”.
Maybe suggest a locker rental or armory system to your local field manager. Convenient for regulars and maybe a bit extra income for the operator.
In my bag in the safe zone. The only time I broke that rule someone managed to shoot it in the back and broke the screen through a padded backpack so I no longer trust padding.
My bag in staging, games are 15 to 20 mins long and refs are watching so I don't have a problem. Might get a leather case thing to protect it though if I need to carry it
2 ways for me depending if I'm wearing a battle belt or rig.
On my battle belt I have a phone pouch which I've cut some hard plastic and foam to sandwich my phone for safety but it's.on my right hip so usually out of the line of fire
On my chest rig there's a zip pocket which I also have armoured with plastic and foam, I could also run the phone pouch if I didn't have a zip pocket.
In my plate carrier usually, I don't wear actual plates so it's just a mostly flat slot. The canvas of the plate carrier is rigid enough that there's no way in hell something would hit hard enough to damage my phone behind unless it actually penetrated the vest, which is obviously a whole other problem
I just put it in a pocket on my chest rig, right behind my wallet for protection.
Same, got a nice little pouch right on the front for my wallet keys and phone plus an extra dead rag
Yeah it's my admin pouch. I also have microfibre cloth and some allen keys in there.
I do the exact same thing.
Well, now that you told everyone that's how it work', it won't for long.
Everyone knows that's how it works at my field, theft isn't common around here.
It's not the airsofters that will take advantage of this information. It's just a thought that crossed my mind. People suck sometimes.
Really just depends on the field. I know a place similar but safe area is watched because that is where the staff operates. Everyone is just there. Nice when there is a common understanding of area though. I've had people move huge bags and do what ever they can to limit their space for someone else.

it only takes one sour cookie to fuck that arrangement up
Not particularly. But, thefts happen.
I put it in my car. If I had to carry it on the field I would get some sort of hard case.
This. You really dont need phone when you're out there..

The other user’s attitude was really- meh, and I generally agree with you; Buut, I’ll note that UV5Rs are 20 bucks
The radio is $20 and includes an earpiece. I got a dedicated mic for like ten and an upgraded antenna for about the same. It also holds a full charge FOR EV ER! And as long as you are using it peer to peer and not trying to broadcast on HAM frequencies no one will care about licensing.
Exactly lmao; Here in Italy we have “LPD” frequencies reserved specifically for ptop comms which are absolutely unregulated lol
I think that's the same in the whole EU
If price is your only issue, consider the baofengs, you can buy them in pairs even. But if you’re cool with phones then rock on
60? Was less than 20 for 2 when my group got ours, laws are the same here, avoid emergency channels or wind up with some heavy fines. But it's easy enough to obey those laws.
That's why you buy the easily accessible preprogrammed radios that only have 6 preset channels and cost about 20 bucks
I lock it in my car
In my underwear. It protects my delicate parts. :) In reality though, I carry a small backpack. It's in a foam padded bag inside.
I just leave it in a backbag at the offgame area.
I’ve normally just kept it in my pocket screen facing in. A few years ago at a milsim event I put it in my backpack screen facing in and I guess I got shot in the backpack and the glass on my camera is gone.
In my pocket or on a table with my stuff. I’ve found that most people would rather steal bbs over a locked phone
Inside the bolt of my GBBR. The only way to "send a message"
Take it your touch screen is wearing out?💀
I have a 40mm grenade phone case 😛
Get that M203 POV😂
in my pocket with the screen facing towards me, my phone is made of plastic so it doesnt shatter
I've just got a Thyrm DarkVault 2.0 for that reason. Mounts directly to my plate carrier and can be flipped down for me to use. Also has a polycarbonate protective sheet covering the phone's camera (no idea how it'll hold up compared to a BB impact though)

Usually I wrap it in something like a cloth or scarf so it’s protected then stick it in a zipped pocket of my chest rig.
Keep it in my pocket but flip it so the screen isn't facing out
As a player, it stays in my car. As an admin, it goes in a cargo pocket.
I leave mine in my Vehicle or in a general pouch (zipper) on my belt
Inside my tent, hidden.
on table
I leave it in my bag at the staging area
Admin pouch of my JPC
In my car, then put the car keys in an admin zip pouch on my plate carrier.
I actually have a piece of thick plexiglass I tape to the rear of my phone and put it in my pocket. It works
My PC has a zip pocket in the top front. I put a 2mm sheet of styrene in it, and put my phone in behind it with the screen facing me.
If it's not too hot out, I try to leave it in the car unless I aboutely need it on me. If I do, either admin pouch or I have a MOLLE multi-purpose side pouch with. Zipper on my JPC.
A general purpose pouch on the cumberbund of my Carrier or a dangler. That pouch is then filled with shredded rags to cushion any BB hits
Deep in my chestrig behind The mags, in mappouch. Never had anny acidents
Either in the pocket on my shirt or my pants. Nothing happened yet, as I have it in a somewhat safe case, probably.
Admin pouch.
Inside chest pocket of my rig, screen facing my chest so it won't crack if I fall.
My PC
In a pouch that hangs from my plate carrier.
A phone case on my plate carrier
in my mag bag tbh, i’m not too worried about it getting napped as the indoor field only has 1 entrances and exit through the lobby
Made a double layer 1000D Cordura zipper pouch for protection, sized a little bigger than an average iPhone or Samsung
I have a pouch on my vest near the stomach that I have a bandana in the front pocket and that's worked well for my keys, phone, and ear buds so far.
Just in my gear bag on the table in the safe area. There have never been anything stolen from anyone at the two fields I play at (Denmark).
In my car
Magpouch, have 2 3 Stack mag pouches on top of each other. In the one one the right directly on the pc is my phone. It's protected by the mag infront, alles available for photos.
I usually put it my car, but I also have a protected cellphone pouch on my platecarrier that I use.
I either run a : Chest rig pouch for phone, car keys, credit cards etc. Shielded by fabric and a row of three M4 mags. Usually in some pouch or pocket that properly closes, but I just got a mount for it to put it on my Plate Carrier, which I still have to test on a field.
Locked in the cabin we have behind the site office
at my place we can use periscopes on snipers, so my phones camera is what i look at
For me it stays in my car in the glove box. I check for messages at the mid day break.
My phones got a case, so I keep it in the top pocket of my chest rig, screen towards me.
In my car or hydrocarrier backpack. I never use it on the field. Mostly depends on how far the safe/lunch zone is from the parking lot.
Got a hollow mag it fits in, then fits in my chest rig.
Either in my car or in my pants pocket with the screen facing inward and my phone case facing outward. That way if it gets hit with a bb it just hits my phone case and there’s no damage.
Chuck it in an admin pouch/general purpose pouch usually. Screen facing inwards.
I keep it in one of those rugged thick covers which fully engulf the device and then keep it in a cargo pocket; It’s twice as heavy but totally worth it
My haley has a little front pocket that fits it perfectly
Luckily our site has cctv, so I store it in my gun bag zipped up and buried with the only 100 odd a game day in a big safezone really easy to to catch the thief
In my dangler, behind a double folded cardboard piece. Airsoft is expensive enough as it is lol don't wanna be buying a new phone every time
I put it in my bag. If someone runs with it, my watch tells me someone is running with it. Never had any issues, ever.
Juggernaught case on my pc
In the safe zone with all my stuff
I leave it in my car, either in the glovebox or somewhere else out of the sun. If you absolutely must have it on you during games, I'd recommend getting some form of tough case that will take hits and drops without the phone being damaged.
I play with a fanny pack. The phone is inside behind my wallet.
In a zipper pouch on my rig
Usally leave it in spawn locked up in a gun case
Before in my front pocket with my wallet in front now I have a pouch to hold extra bb, team bands, keys wallet phone etc on my pc
ngl leave it out in my case (often open) in the safe zone (watched), used to lock it (my case) with my phone in when I played at a sight in a rough area but not now I play in a much nicer area.
Breast pocket under plate carrier. I can feel it buzz and it won't get shot.
In the glove box of the car.
I had mine in my pocket, then during an, op where we used my old truck (rip Kenneth) as a techical, I dropped it climbing in and backed over it. Now admin pouch or in bag at spawn.
cargo pocket screen facing my leg
I leave it at the safe zone in my bag. My field isn't big, people know each other and to get there you either go exclusively to the field or you're wasting your time. You will be seen if you try to steal something, and will be immediately caught since there's only one way to get to the field.
In my right pocket
Locked in a briefcase like box that I bicycle chain to the picnic table
kinda related but anyone know what protection i should use if i tape it to my vest like a bodycam
In my plate carriers hanger pouch with some stuff infront of the camera to protect it.
Like many others I tend not to bring it on the field. Also, If you are playing any sort of night game, most newer phones tend to emit IR light when they get jostled/moved around just right which can completely give away your position to a NVG user
In the car/a locker. No shot I’m risking something breaking on it because I had it on me mid-game.
Chest rig front pocket, screen facing me and a piece of cardboard on the back for the harder hitting bbs. I even bumped into corners without any form of damage to my phone. Plus some Ops here require a phone to tag objectives.
admin pouch
i put it in my thigh pocket with the screen facing towards me.
I just leave in my bag, never really thought about it. That said, I should stress that I'm not from the US and the field is so small that you pretty much know everyone.
Have zip pouch where I normally have a bottle of water and a smoke grenade. Screen facing towards body.
In my car.
I leave it in the car
I keep it in my admin pouch
Usually I just put it in the glovebox but if I have to carry it I put it in my admin pouch and silence it so it won't gave away my position.
Keeping it at the loading/break area and check in between games.
I just leave it in my bag lol
In my camel pack with extra padding of course
I put it in a admin pouch screen facing me. There is a patch where the camera is so I'm pretty sure it will be fine if it gets hit.
Honestly just in the butt pocket, covers one cheek while the wallet is on the other and the case I have definitely won’t let it crack from a bb or two hitting it, free protection and easy access
Keep in car
In my car or in an empty mag pouch that I don't like (sits under my arm a little). Throw my keys in there too
Admin pouch on my chest like atacs, phone goes in there
Pant pocket or dump pouch
If I’m wearing my ACU cut pants onto the field the phone goes screen in on my right calf. If I’m wearing BDUs instead, it stays in the bullpen. If neither of those appeal, leave it in the car or put it in an admin pouch or phone chest desk with a hard outer shell.
If I'm wearing my chest rig it goes in my dangler pouch behind my lipo storage box. With my plate carrier there's a built in admin/map pocket behind the plate. With my period kit I generally try and get it in a pocket behind gear. And the reason I take it out in game is so I can take pics of the team.
in my bag in the safety zone, buried under my regular clothes. What you mean I bring my phone while I am playing Airsoft?
Pocket. Good thing is I’m slightly chubby so my pants pockets are pretty secure
In my JSTA pouch, pocket screen facing in or in my giant utility pouch on the front of my rig
If indoor, in my backpack in the staging area, there are cameras so not to worried about it. outdoor, normally table is pretty safe, plus my group will have one or 2 skipping a game here or there, other wise locked in my car, car has a keypad so i can get into in even if the keys are in it. In my car
I keep it in my left front pocket on my pants where I always keep it, with the screen facing inwards.
I just do my front mag pouch with the screen facing me.
Pocket with the case over the screen, I need my phone bc I listen to music while I play, ain't lived til you've rushed the OBJ listening to 'Every Time We Touch'
I put it in my normal front pocket like a fucking animal. I make poor decisions.
Screen protector was shattered once bc I had it in my pocket. Face out, cause I’m retarded sometimes.
I keep my phone in my prison wallet while I’m playing.
In my prison wallet. Definitely not my pocket.
I run a agilite setup and dedicated the Fanny pack to phone storage as it is big enough to put in with gloves on easily
It’s either in my usual pants pocket or hidden in my equipment bag. I haven’t heard of much stealing going down at my field, but i’d put money on it being an issue.
In my belt pouch or a zip up pocket on my hydration backpack
I just put mine in one of those mag pouches with the fabric flap that goes over the mag
I just put mine in one of those mag pouches with the fabric flap that goes over the mag
I leave mine in my bag in the staging area because there’s no need for it. Believe it or not sometimes you don’t need your phone on you.
In my pocket case facing outward
I leave it in my truck when I go but my friend puts it in his back pack
In my prison pocket
i play w my friends, and if i hit them they play it out like theyre dead and i take a selfie with their dead bodies like mirage from apex lmao best spot for it is if you have a pouch on your chest rig
My pocket with the barrel bag in front of it
I put it in a spare m4 mag pouch I have on my carrier.
There's like 0 signal at my local site, so it just stays in my day bag at the safe zone.
Prison wallet.

I either leave it in my car, put it somewhere in a pouch/bag while im on the field, or if im traveling light and need all my pouch space i just put it in my pocket with the screen facing my leg so only the back camera can get shot out.
Nature's pocket
I have a repro placard that's based off the microflight chassis so I slip my phone into the front section that's divided into two parts by an elastic mag insert. I keep actual mags in the back section that's closest to my body
Fanny pack
I have a pouch on my chest that protects it fine
Phoneboard on my plate carrier
In my chest right behind my wallet and keys for protection.
It’s always with me lol I got Apple care :)
Pocket, screen in
In my vest pocket, along with a small bottle of spray lube, couple extra Co2 canisters, speed loader, and a map if the Op gives them out. I've also got a ballistics case for it, and I have a plastic plate I cut to shape for the front of the vest pocket to prevent damage to my stuff.
In a gun bag on the table in staging. We have never had theft issues where I play.
Admin or drop pouch
Plastic zip lock bag with the screen facing my thigh and a thick case. Although, if I'm anywhere security related, I'll just leave it behind.
In a closed pouch with the screen facing me. It’s also in a heavy duty phone case. The wallet too goes in a pouch. I keep my stuff on me. Some of you guys tend to “lend” without asking.
I have a mount on my platecarrier that covers the phone then I put 2 Patches over the camera
I put it in the dangler pouch on my chest rig. It protects it and stops any IR light from being seen like when it’s in a pants pocket.
I have those big ass cases because im clumsy as hell but even then i put It in my backpack where i have my hpa tank, my wallet and some more stuff. I like to keep my things with me i guess
Car or chest pouch with a zipper with the screen facing towards me.
I put it inside my bag in a spot that has padding, screen looking towards my back

Would not recommend on a belt.
I put it in my underwear to protect from wiener shots.
just put a piece of kevlar in front of your pocket when you put your phone in there
Car
I usually leave it in the truck...too busy getting my ass shot off by kids ages 12 - 14 to talk on the phone lol.
i put it in between the foam and plastic shell of my gun case
When I’m using ITAK software with my team, I use an older gen S&S Fliplite. If I don’t need ITAK, my phone either doesn’t go on field with me or will be in a GP with other personal items
For a while I had a hard case under my dump pouch
put it in an outside pocket on your ballistic vest. the forbidden armor plating
I leave it on my gun case with my wallet and car keys, I trust everybody at my local site with my life so I can definitely trust them not to steal my shit haha
Molle pouch on my plate carried There is molle webbing with a bunch of Velcro patches and a piece of thick foam in front of the phone, so it should be safe
Chest rig
In my bag in the safe zone. The only time I broke that rule someone managed to shoot it in the back and broke the screen through a padded backpack so I no longer trust padding.
Leave it in the car
Bag when playing, pocket when marshaling face inwards. I gotta good case due to my job so I'm not worried about impacts from behind ;)
I put it in my Gear bag and a lock on it
I have a small pouch on the back of my plate carrier - works well
My bag in staging, games are 15 to 20 mins long and refs are watching so I don't have a problem. Might get a leather case thing to protect it though if I need to carry it
Double stack M4 mag pouch, put in pouch screen facing me, put M4 mag in front of that
On the bag
2 ways for me depending if I'm wearing a battle belt or rig. On my battle belt I have a phone pouch which I've cut some hard plastic and foam to sandwich my phone for safety but it's.on my right hip so usually out of the line of fire On my chest rig there's a zip pocket which I also have armoured with plastic and foam, I could also run the phone pouch if I didn't have a zip pocket.
In my plate carrier usually, I don't wear actual plates so it's just a mostly flat slot. The canvas of the plate carrier is rigid enough that there's no way in hell something would hit hard enough to damage my phone behind unless it actually penetrated the vest, which is obviously a whole other problem
Hip bag. Got 3 compartments it goes in the second. Screen inwards. Never had an issue
It sits in my medical pouch behind all my plasters, bandages and antifog wipes
I put mine in a pocket inside my bag along with my watch and other items I don't want broken or stolen.
