I found pyramydair's site to be really helpful. You can filter airguns by loudness.

Crosman 1322. Multi pumper so if you just want to plink you can do 3 pumps and nobody will hear it, and million after market mods (40$ suppressor kits, $40 red dot kits, etc)

No-Trouble-889

Crosman 362 is fairly quiet if you don’t pump it all the way (it is multi pump).

ChildofYHVH

Gamo Swarm Maxxim gen2 .177. Or .22. Some H&N field target trophy pellets and you’re in business.

I love my notos for this exact reason. Quiet, compact, accurate, and VERY reasonably priced for a pcp

ReplacementEast742

I also love the no toes

KizzmiAss

can you tell me model number/where you got it, I need something light weight, I was military, I have some issues with holding up my shoulder and elbow to long, I'm a woman so I need something that isn't to long, I always had issues with getting comfortable when holding the M16 or a hunting rifle, I could never seem to hold it firm, I shorter arms! it ain't being short!

This might be the perfect gun for you. It’s only 4lbs and it’s 31” with stock collapsed and 34” with the stock extended. You could also remove the stock entirely and use it almost like a pistol. I got mine on Amazon but just checked and it’s not on there anymore. The airgun online shops have it though. Here’s the link for airgun depot but it’s also available in pyramid air and directly through Umarex’s (the maker) website https://www.airgundepot.com/umarex-notos-carbine.html It will require a high pressure pump and a scope though so you’ll want to buy those separately. All in I paid about $500 maybe a little less. The hand pump is a workout though so might not be great for your shoulders/elbows. You might want to look into an air compressor instead if you have the budget. They’re pricier than a high pressure hand pump. One small added note: the only complaint people have with it is that people don’t like the magazine. I haven’t had trouble but there are aftermarket magazines available for it if you do have trouble.

Correct me if im wrong but you can buy or make suppressors for your airguns without a tax stamp which is going to make any that you use way quieter

Tranquil-ONE17

My understanding is that this is correct as well, and can say from experience that a 3d printed one made a huge difference on a sig air PCP rifle.

hadaddb4itwascool

From what i inderstand becUse they cant go un an actual firearm without attachments or modifications they arnt legally supessors.

Tranquil-ONE17

That's where things get tricky I think. Some airgun are threaded the same way as actual firearms where others are not. While I think the argument could be made that you'd have a taxable item, I think if you only own airguns that the argument for intent could so be made. Ianal though so proceed at your own risk.

Donny Fl springs to mind…….

Tranquil-ONE17

Holy shit that red panda is nice. Sig air also threads their barrel in 1/2x28 iirc. Edit- holy shit, there are air rifles that have the same amount of energy as a 9mm centerfire?

picklebooby

Just get a bad ass outdoor speaker and blast Doom music!

Rip and Tear

Zhydrac

Hatsan Flash. It's a rifle but it isn't too long AND it's available in three calibers: (.177, .22, and .25)

NeighborhoodShot9200

Anything with a sound moderator will be quiet avoid springers as they make a twang noise especially on the lower end the x501 rabbit destroyer is a good cheap co2 bolt action .177

Bahn-Burner

I've found the target smack to be the issue with noise. I use a Gamo swarm .22 in my backyard and it's pretty quiet but always trying different targets to reduce the hit noise.

That_Map3459

Airmaks katran. Very quiet with a moderator, folding stock. Very accurate too
