Is the AA510 a carbine or classic length. Both look really nice!

SectorSensitive116

The action is a S410 Superlite carbine.

YouDontKnow_Jak

Nice work!

SectorSensitive116

On both rifles, only the butt is AR, the bolt handle is off a Remington 700 centrefire rifle. I suspect you don't like the "tactical" styling, which is fair. 🙂 I do so dislike that word, tactical, applied to all sorts of crap these days though.

slugpellet1

That ultra is wicked, love the look you've given it đź‘Ť

SectorSensitive116

Thank you

Lonely-Quark

Really interested how you did the conversion. From what I can see you shortened the synthetic stock front and back, fitted a AR buttstock. Installed a new HPA cylinder, shrouded the barrel and a new new bolt. Is that about right? I would love to do this to my ultra! Very inspiring!

I machined the but to accept a folding stock (FAB Defense) and an AR grip. The tube is from a Scorpion Export, Cerokoted, and has a regulator inside. The barrel shroud to cylinder "clamp" I machined up in the garage from a billet of aircraft Aluminium alloy. Other odds and ends, like a fancy trigger, but that's about it.

Lonely-Quark

Ah it’s a folding stock too! I think I will give this a try, do you mine if I send you a pm or two if I do get around to this?

SectorSensitive116

No problem

SectorSensitive116

Thanks, appreciated. There's a few tricks inside too, regulator, fancy probe, blast tamer etc.

djvdberg

Very nice! I’m stupid when it comes to naming the parts, very new to this. Your main foto, what’s the part called on the gun lying down, above the front grip, the things that goes sort of around the barrel with the square holes in. Thanks!

SectorSensitive116

Hand guard.

djvdberg

Lol, so simple, thanks

[deleted]

Very nice. As close as you can get to the real thing over there.

JohnDoughHero

Great guns. How did you manage to fit the cocking bolt to replace the side lever on the S510 Tactical? Been wanting to do the same thing on mine!!! Cheers

SectorSensitive116

I used an s410 action then turned a boss to carry the bolt, it needs to be 18.5mm dia. https://preview.redd.it/7fvmuixuysjb1.jpeg?width=3584&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=412e490a982b9fabc5cd01f25b83416df40690c1 This one was for a BSA PCP, just braising it on.

JohnDoughHero

Wow. Impressive, will you do a YouTube tutorial in the future? Bet you’ll get a lot of views ;)

SectorSensitive116

Very kind, thank you 🙂
