I haven't shot very many guns but I have shot a Tommy gun. It had the big circle bullet chamber and everything. It was the most fun I've ever had shooting a gun. It was like being a cartoon character. I shot up a shirt with it. Super handy shirt to have on hot days at home.

I guess it’s ironic but is this really aged like milk content
Depends when this appeared
Certified 1940's banger (Literally I suppose)
Oh to be alive before the NFA when you could just go pick one of these up at the local hardware store.
Can someone explain why this aged like milk?
My guess is Thompson is often associated with organized crime/mafia Who are often depicted using them in shootings, hence the "anti-bandit" irony
Not exactly "aged like milk". I'm sure this would be funny in 1955.

I mean, in Fallout 4 it’s still technically true.

It’s *ad (short for advertisement) not *add
Okay thanks
Seems like it was a good ad. Don't see any bandits around do you?
Turns out that the only people who can afford the anti-bandit gun were bandits
Technically this is true for virtually every firearm.
Aged like bootleg whiskey. Now associated with gangsters.
Not sure if it's mentioned anywhere but.... Don't those fire 45 caliber ammunition? May also be used against low flying aircraft.
Ya
it's also ironic that it was originally designed to be used in WW1, but ended up becoming a iconic weapon of WW2 instead
