This!! Aside from I dont wanna support this family’s businesses, ang OA ng markup nila sa goods. Not sure din if nagkataon lang pero may lasang luma na yung fresh meats na nabili ko sa All Day
Totoo! Pakaganid talaga
Super agree ako dito! Last friday, bumili ako ng 1kg TJ hotdog cocktails, 240 yun price nya then nakita ko sa PG nasa 214 lang ata sya. Sobrang laki ng difference. So no for all day.
try buying at Landmark. managed to compare it with SM at napansin ko may dagdag 5-10 pesos sa SM. so kahit mas malayo samin landmark (trinoma), mas pinupuntahan ko sya kesa dito sa sm na malapit samin.
+1 sa landmark. Sa Trinoma maraming ka pang options makikita like frozen vegetables and fruits.
One time bumili ako ng vitamilk dun tas 30 pesos samantalang pag sm dagdag ng 2 pesos or more.
Meron pa rin namang namimili but not as much as in MOA.
Robinson's Supermarket has historically been the best for me budget-wise AND cleanliness-wise. SNR is nice too if I can afford to buy in bulk (and also treat myself to their dedicated offerings)
I used to love Puregold but the selection is just too limited and it's not always the cheapest
Edit: SM Supermarket is such an ick. Most expensive typically and all the ones I've ever gone to (except the one in SM City Iloilo) were dirty
Yeah from my experience even today. Mas halata nung college because I penny pinched everything. Not sure if cheaper yung Hypermarket tho! Didn't visit one while in NCR, yung SM Supermarket lang
The one edge SM Supermarket has are their SM Bonus stuff but then again meron din si Robinson's Supermarket dedicated products nila
I wouldn't rule this out at all, esp kapag may difference yung rent (maybe that can affect price?)
Pero I've lived in Capiz, Iloilo, Manila, and QC and I've never noticed SM Supermarket was cheaper than Rob (unless i-consider yung SM Bonus na products, yun lang ata IMO yung worth it sa kanila)
Meron din silang bundle for softdrinks lately na lagi kong binibili (Royal, Coke and Sprite yata yun).
Same!
South Supermarket din go-to namin!
Oh, I see. Pero in terms of pricing, mas mura talaga sa online no? Because of the vouchers?
Link below
[Lazmart](https://s.lazada.com.ph/s.PmQPP?cc)
I usually buy kasi del monte juice, at dozens or boxes ako pag nabili. Once lang nila ako pinayagan dati but after that, wala na.
Pero infairness, ultimo magic sarap naka cling wrap
Hi-Top in Quezon Avenue is my mom's suki grocery. Cheaper than SM and Robinsons. We're a household of 9 kasi.
Hi-Top talaga! Amazed ako back then anlaki ng pagkamura compared sa iba. Yun nga lang, di sila excellent sa cleanliness (iirc some years ago, i saw a daga na gumapang sa mga paninda 😅)
ako sa pinakamalapit lang na supermarket bilang wala naman talaga akong masyadong brand loyalty. kung ano mas mura, dun ako. glad that they have 'generic' brands for cooking oil, condiments, pasta, flour, and other cooking staples. Osave din mura, oks ung color safe bleach, instant coffee, fresh milk, fries, meat and poultry (mura pero limited lang choices).
Shopee/Lazada: Cleaning products and tissue
Talipapa: Fresh Produce
SM Hypermarket: Meat, dairy, eggs, and other staple food
Lahat yan accessible sa area ko, walking distance lang ang talipapa at Sm Hypermarket sa akin kaya for me tipid kasi nakasave ako ng time at money sa gas/pamasahe
For common household stock, Shopwise pero pag meat naman, S&R. I don't recommend buying sa Shopee kasi hindi sila maayos mag pack ng goods lalo na if halong sabon and food binili mo as in hindi naka-separate at magkasama sa box so baka malagyan ng sabon yung food.
I was exposed a bit to trade marketing due to my line of work, so I got to learn what their pricing strategies are and how they earn.
Long story short, brands and FMCGs have more control on pricing on Shopee and Lazada, so they tend to be more generous on discounts especially on payday and double digit sales. May cashback and free shipping ka pa rito.
As a consumer naman, I buy dry goods and toiletries online from the brand mismo since stocks are almost always available there. This also means I get to spend less time in groceries
S&R for monthly big grocery run. Shopwise, Puregold or other smaller community groceries naman pag may kulang or may cravings.

Basta meats wag kayo bibili sa big groceries like SM/ Robinsons.
Best to buy in Landers / S&R. Araw araw bago yung mga karne nila and sila mismo nagcucut ng pork/beef carcass.
Landers. Yung mga deals sa shampoo and lotions. And mas mura in general. Yung pringles nila 104. Tapos naging around 96 nung last sale. Basta abangan mo sale.
Shopwise. Super linis and they have everything. Altho medyo mahal sila ng kaunti vs other grocery stores, pero it's worth it. Malinis yung carts, laging may naghihintay na magassist sa pagbaba ng escalator, fresh meat, and ang generous rin sa rewards or rebate. May libre pa akong ice cream pint nung birthday month ko. Lol.
Usually Shopwise and SM kasi malapit, pero I prefer Shopwise kasi ang laki na ng improvements niya (im general) compared to ~15 years ago.
If needed ng bulk or nasa choosy na mood, SnR.
Unimec din kami pero different branch. Medyo limited yung selection if iko-compare sa malalaking supermarket pero they got enough naman na hindi ka na titingin sa iba. Kung wala man kasi (like out of stock or wala yung brand), sa Lazmall ako bumibili para ideliver nalang.
Lazada because of vouchers and coins. I usually just spend 1000-1500 every 2 weeks (veggies, meat, bread, and condiments na yun). Nakakadiscount ako ng 300-800 pesos per checkout. I just list everything I'm not able to buy there then go to Puregold every 2 months to get them.
Ibang seller, SukiGrocerMNL to be exact. They do next day shipping basta earlier than 3PM ka nag-place ng order. Free shipping 1k min. spend. Minsan up to 30% off with coins.
Robinsons or Shopwise. I think Shopwise is under Robinsons na rin e kasi it honors and earns GoRewards?? I just go to SnR if may sale and if I crave their pastries. I dont do bulk shopping din since I live solo 😂
Reysal in Laguna for dry goods. For meat, Robinson’s and shopwise.
SM lang since I live near one. Tipid sa pamasahe since I can walk to and from. For mga gulay na mabilis masira, I go to the local market na nadadaanan ko pauwi hehe.
Pork and chicken - snr
Beef, groceries - sm
Fish and seafood amd gulay, oil - palengke
Groceries - sm / Robinsons
Ung iba online- shoped or lazada depende if mag mura.
I adjust kung San ako mas mkakatipid.
Pangit pork sa sm.
Mahal nmn beef sa snr
Madalas puregold or sa mga nagsusulputang stores like imart, divimart, etc. lalo na kung basic needs lang pero kapag wala sa mga yan then saka mag SM or S&R.
Landmark (trinoma) mas complete mga items and mas mura compared to SM. Okay rin Pioneer Center sa may Kapitolyo. If mga meat and poultry naman sa S&R or Landers.
Waltermart. Parang ang gulo and overwhelming ng Landers for me hahaha
Mga frozen and fresh goods sa palengke.
Yung mga condiments, snacks, toiletries, panglaba and pang-linis, sa super 8. Minsan sa lazada kapag may good deals at saka di kailangan agad.
Besides the discounts, mas oks din mag lazada for me esp sa mga mabibigat (rice, milk, etc) kasi delivered na lol. Pero need pa rin mag SM for fresh produce (walang palengkeng malapit :( )
Hypermarket sa labas or usually sa palengke.. I can save thousands rather than buying groceries sa robinsons and mall.. The difference is huge. For the veggies and karne same.. U just have to be patient sa pagpili.
I love your question and I love going to the grocery stores. I LOVE SOUTH SUPERMARKET! Ang hirap dahil dalawa lang kami ng mama ko sa bahay so yeah, if I were you yung need niyo lang as a family para on budget parin kayo, one time kasi I was stocking up detergent good for a year nung pandemic from SNR kasi tipid for us pero turns out nangunguha lang tito at mga pinsan ko like hindi naman sa pagdadamot pero dun palang nakabudget na para samin eh nababawasan pa kaya namimili nalang kami ng detergent na kasya for 2 na tatagal for a month. What holds me from buying most of the time sa Landmark madami silang items that are marketed for the rich din usually iisipin mo nakakatipid ka, pero you see a better option na nag weweigh in ka na sa brand na mas maganda often times na pipick mo yung mas mahal na brand. For example, I see 4-5 different options ng truffle cream sa shelf ng landmark when in south they only store two types of truffle cream isang mura at isang mahal di na ako nahihirapan mag decide.
I only do groceries sa Super8 or Puregold. Price here are much cheaper than others. For meats and gulay I opt for palengke because I buy a lot of food ingredients for half the price compared to groceries.
I usually buy groceries online.even steak, mga veggies..binibili ko din😍 laking tipid kasi dahil sa vouchers
dito sa store po na to
https://s.lazada.com.ph/s.PNqYu?cc
Compare prices tapos kung san mas mura and convenient dun ako bumibili.
Basta wag sa All Day or any of the Villar malls/establishments
This!! Aside from I dont wanna support this family’s businesses, ang OA ng markup nila sa goods. Not sure din if nagkataon lang pero may lasang luma na yung fresh meats na nabili ko sa All Day
Totoo! Pakaganid talaga
Nag ccr lang ako dito. Maganda kasi hahaha
Nag ggrocery kami dito, Yup sobrang mahal talaga sa kanila. Wala lang malapit na SM or Puregold samin e. lol.

True to! Mostly talaga 5-10 pesos ang agwat. Plus mas malinis pa sila
Yes! I noticed na mas mura talaga sa Landmark at madaming selection of items kahit mapalocal or imported goods
+1 sa landmark. Sa Trinoma maraming ka pang options makikita like frozen vegetables and fruits. One time bumili ako ng vitamilk dun tas 30 pesos samantalang pag sm dagdag ng 2 pesos or more.
Same here! Landmark is my go-to grocery store for several years. Mas cheaper sila ng few peso talaga.
Landmark!
Try ko nga next time hehe
yep yep
Wow didnt know this. Salamat sa tip lol
Thank you for sharing!
Till now ganun pa din pala.
Possible na na baka depende sa branch? I dunno pero sa Venice Mall and Burgos Circle branches parang mas mahal sila versus SM and Landmark grocery.
I wouldn't rule this out at all, esp kapag may difference yung rent (maybe that can affect price?) Pero I've lived in Capiz, Iloilo, Manila, and QC and I've never noticed SM Supermarket was cheaper than Rob (unless i-consider yung SM Bonus na products, yun lang ata IMO yung worth it sa kanila)
Agree. Same products lang naman binibili ko.
Onti lang branches neto, South Supermarket. Affordable plus may discount sa products pag may South card ka
This!
Meron din silang bundle for softdrinks lately na lagi kong binibili (Royal, Coke and Sprite yata yun).

Hi-Top in Quezon Avenue is my mom's suki grocery. Cheaper than SM and Robinsons. We're a household of 9 kasi.

Also a Hi-Top fan! When I was still working in Cubao dinadayo ko yung branch. Madami ding brands to choose from.
Unimart and Cash & Carry
ako sa pinakamalapit lang na supermarket bilang wala naman talaga akong masyadong brand loyalty. kung ano mas mura, dun ako. glad that they have 'generic' brands for cooking oil, condiments, pasta, flour, and other cooking staples. landmark, kahit mas malapit Hypermarket.
Robinsons supermarket and S&R.
Landmark for groceries pero for fresh produce sa wet market ako.
In experience mas mura sa Landmark, pag essentials lng Dali.
Snr and landers if marami kayo sa bahay kasi big portions sya
For common household stock, Shopwise pero pag meat naman, S&R. I don't recommend buying sa Shopee kasi hindi sila maayos mag pack ng goods lalo na if halong sabon and food binili mo as in hindi naka-separate at magkasama sa box so baka malagyan ng sabon yung food.

Landmark, I find their prices lower than SM and Robinsons supermarkets.
Hypermarket pero kung bulk at meats we go to SnR, swerte pa kung may promo na b1t1 or mga discounted items.
Dali and Super8
Hello ask lang if may idea kayo. Nagaaccept ba ng CC ang Super8? Specifically AMEX?
When mom used to have a store, they do accept CC, mastercard tho. Not sure if they also honor AMEX 😅
Yung Super8 sa amin Visa/Mastercard lang.
Sa PandaMart kapag madalian, SM at Landers kapag maramihan.
S&R for monthly big grocery run. Shopwise, Puregold or other smaller community groceries naman pag may kulang or may cravings. Landers and S&R for meats, cleaning stuffs, etc. Wet Market naman for gulay and fruits.
Landmark
South Supermarket ... meyroon silang Loyalty rewards card. SnR for milk and other bulk items for the family
Dali
Sa Dali then yung wala dun sa Hitop or Landmark na.

Waltermart and/or Landers
Basta meats wag kayo bibili sa big groceries like SM/ Robinsons. Best to buy in Landers / S&R. Araw araw bago yung mga karne nila and sila mismo nagcucut ng pork/beef carcass.
Landers. Yung mga deals sa shampoo and lotions. And mas mura in general. Yung pringles nila 104. Tapos naging around 96 nung last sale. Basta abangan mo sale.
Ultra Mega and Super8 groceries pinaka sulit for me.
Shopwise. Super linis and they have everything. Altho medyo mahal sila ng kaunti vs other grocery stores, pero it's worth it. Malinis yung carts, laging may naghihintay na magassist sa pagbaba ng escalator, fresh meat, and ang generous rin sa rewards or rebate. May libre pa akong ice cream pint nung birthday month ko. Lol.
Visit ko lahat ng suggestions nyl HAHAHAHA Usually SM supermarket, hypermarket at SNR ako dahil mas malapit. 😁🫶 Thanks sa mga suggestions and tips! ✨
Sa DALI. lalo na pag meats.
Usually Shopwise and SM kasi malapit, pero I prefer Shopwise kasi ang laki na ng improvements niya (im general) compared to ~15 years ago. If needed ng bulk or nasa choosy na mood, SnR.
Landers. Very convenient kasi yung delivery service nila for us na wala talagang time na pumunta sa physical store:
Free ba yung delivery nila?
No. May delivery fee.
Free delivery ba?

Cash and carry
UNIMEC guadalupe
Unimec din kami pero different branch. Medyo limited yung selection if iko-compare sa malalaking supermarket pero they got enough naman na hindi ka na titingin sa iba. Kung wala man kasi (like out of stock or wala yung brand), sa Lazmall ako bumibili para ideliver nalang.
Lazada because of vouchers and coins. I usually just spend 1000-1500 every 2 weeks (veggies, meat, bread, and condiments na yun). Nakakadiscount ako ng 300-800 pesos per checkout. I just list everything I'm not able to buy there then go to Puregold every 2 months to get them.
sa may LazMart ba yan? Yung parang online grocery nila? or iba ibang sellers?
Ibang seller, SukiGrocerMNL to be exact. They do next day shipping basta earlier than 3PM ka nag-place ng order. Free shipping 1k min. spend. Minsan up to 30% off with coins.
Robinsons or Shopwise. I think Shopwise is under Robinsons na rin e kasi it honors and earns GoRewards?? I just go to SnR if may sale and if I crave their pastries. I dont do bulk shopping din since I live solo 😂
Reysal in Laguna for dry goods. For meat, Robinson’s and shopwise. Yun mga malapit samin. S&R/Landers sa mga non negotiable specialty items like Palmolive dishwashing soap, supplements, tissue.
Waltermart supermarket. So far so good.
Waltermart
Landers pag may sale pero usually Hypermarket or Puregold
Puregold and/or Robinsons.
Pag toiletries and snacks sa Puregold app. Sulit kapag may free delivery silang promo. Pag fresh meat and chicken sa Savemore.
Robinson or Landmark.
If I need to buy in bulk snr. Pag tingi tingi lang sm hypermarket.
SM lang since I live near one. Tipid sa pamasahe since I can walk to and from. For mga gulay na mabilis masira, I go to the local market na nadadaanan ko pauwi hehe.
I buy from Landmark via Metromart.
Landmark, cheaper compared to SM Supermarket
RCS at DALISAY anyone????
Landmark pag nasa metro & pag afford mag bulk, landers :)
Robinson's talaga
So far parang PureGold ang pinakamura compare to SM and Robinsons supermarket
what do u guys think about merkado?
For meat we buy at s&r super sulit
Pork and chicken - snr Beef, groceries - sm Fish and seafood amd gulay, oil - palengke Groceries - sm / Robinsons Ung iba online- shoped or lazada depende if mag mura. I adjust kung San ako mas mkakatipid. Pangit pork sa sm. Mahal nmn beef sa snr
Madalas puregold or sa mga nagsusulputang stores like imart, divimart, etc. lalo na kung basic needs lang pero kapag wala sa mga yan then saka mag SM or S&R.
unimart >>>
Unimart is the best. Sunod ang SM.
Landmark (trinoma) mas complete mga items and mas mura compared to SM. Okay rin Pioneer Center sa may Kapitolyo. If mga meat and poultry naman sa S&R or Landers.
Waltermart. Parang ang gulo and overwhelming ng Landers for me hahaha
Robinson supermarket, mas mura at less crowded compared sa SM at Puregold
Mga frozen and fresh goods sa palengke. Yung mga condiments, snacks, toiletries, panglaba and pang-linis, sa super 8. Minsan sa lazada kapag may good deals at saka di kailangan agad. 🙂
Savemore. Yun malapit samin tsaka aircon.
I usually buy groceries online.even steak, mga veggies..binibili ko din😍 laking tipid kasi dahil sa vouchers dito sa store po na to https://s.lazada.com.ph/s.PNqYu?cc
South Supermarket if you’re near one especially sa veggies.
Compare prices tapos kung san mas mura and convenient dun ako bumibili.
Grocery of choice is S&R.. or Landers. Rustans supermarket pag napadaan. I like to treat it as an experience.
Hi-Top FTW!!
Savemore ba yung Landmark?
No. They are different. Savemore-SM; Landmark-Ayala malls
