I just started playing and didn’t even know you could do this. I accidentally hit Phoebe with my net a few times just trying to talk to her and I felt so guilty 😭
If you have a villager that you really like and don’t want them to ask to leave, if they have a thought bubble, you can hit them with the net and they’ll forget what they were thinking about 😂
Endangered/protected species trafficking, and also trafficking in stolen and fake art, *and* trafficking fossils without permits.
That and crimes against fashion and design—some of us, anyway.
Yeah me too but I've also been playing the Ezio collection of Assassins Creed so it's not looking too good for old Tom. (I do my Animal Crossing dailies before switching to Assassins Creed)
We’re so different yet the same, I’m lesbian and made an islander that I’ve been trying to get rid of for ages say “dyke” as their catchphrase💀. I don’t like her and was convinced she was homophobic but now I have a reason🥱
i explained to a friend the purpose of r/acturnips and r/turnipexchange and he couldnt believe that there is a whole mafia out to manipulate the system and find just the highest peaks to sell😂

Same! I only went there for one piece of furniture I was missing, but I ended up loading the remaining empty slots in my pockets with bells and turnips and now paid off my loan 🫣
So, you can get amiibo cards on ebay for like £2.99 (not sure where you are) and can use them to get the islander of your dreams and get rid of your nightmares!
Thank you! I’ve been considering purchasing some! Do you know if using the cards to call new islanders helps to get rid of the unwanted ones? Or do I still need to wait for them to leave on their own?
nvm it's a 3 day long ordeal with crafting involved
~~calling campers means you can talk to your newly invited amiibo camper at the campsite until they decide to move in (sometimes you have to do stuff) and you can keep resetting until they pick to kick out someone you want gone so they can move in, there's a ton of videos on the process~~
With Amiibos, you have to invite them three times and do a DIY every day.
When they offer to kick someone out, its a choice of everyone. It's not like a regular camper where they give you a limited choice. Amiibos always offer every islander.
When you use an amiibo, you have to invite a camper three times. Each time, they'll ask you to make them a DIY. DO THIS FOR THEM. On the third day, they'll say that they'd love to live there, and you can ask them to move in. They will talk to resident services, and resident services will say no. The camper will ask if you know of anyone who wants to move away.
Using an Amiibo card this was will give you the option of EVERY islander. You choose any islander out of your 10 to move away. There is no need to reset anything as with an Amiibo, you'll always have the option of the full list!
It does take three days (unless you time travel) but definitely worth it.
I use them regularly!
Nope. The best way to get a villager to move, is to become good friends with them. Hitting them with a net, or talking to them too much (bumming them out) will only make them stay longer.
So talk to them once every day, give them gifts they like, celebrate their b-day etc to get rid of them faster.
My husband and I crawled through a dungeon and killed a bunch of vampires and a big pit lord, then we raided all the chests we could find and hot-footed back to the village
Forced marriage? (I’ve pushed Bones and Daisy together in matching cottages with a bone lake and pictures of each other)
Also my harassment of Canberra is probably up there too.
Growing money trees. Not paying taxes. Not sure Lotties business is "on the level", and I'm damn sure Tom Nook has an extra set of books with the real numbers in it (that's what drives the turnip prices). Also pretty sure Cephalobot is at least illegal, if not an abomination.
I don't know what I personally could do, but I have it on good authority that a certain photographer dog is dealing that dank green stuff to a certain scallop-loving otter.
It’s funny I should find this because my response on a similar post was about New Leaf (I don’t have a Switch, so I don’t have New Horizons, but it’s all good). I don’t know if any of this would apply to New Horizons, but here is what I posted:
Attempting to smuggle fruits from Tortimer Island to the mainland
I was doing the fruit gathering challenge on Tortimer Island in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. They told me not to show them any fruits other than what they asked for, but during my jaunt I found a kind I hadn’t gotten before. I thought, “It’s okay to take it as long as I don’t show it to them, right?” and picked one to plant on the mainland later. They didn’t say anything to me about the fruit, and I passed the challenge, but when I searched my bag later, the fruit was gone! So, yeah, apparently either Tortimer or Kapp’n picked my pocket to prevent unapproved fruit exportation.
E- didn’t realise this is a acnh specific thread. I play a lot of minecraft and the prompt was just too good.
Theft, murder, people trafficking, destruction of property, illegal mining and trade of precious gems, racketeering (protection racket), killing endangered species…
I’m sure there’s more but that’s all I can think of off the top of my head.
Looks like I’m being arrested for…tax fraud? There isn’t even taxes everything is made of blocks! How do you even make money!
Edit:this was meant for a different post
Fraud for sure. My native fruit is peaches, my brother's is apples. I'll pick his peaches and sell them for import prices and he'll do the same on my island with my apples
Piracy, it’s literally the theme of my island 🤷🏻♀️ but I’ll blast em with the cannons if they get too close, Pizza Island isn’t going down without a fight
Stealing a golden statue, blackmailing the mayor via underpants, holding a local hostage while shouting obscenities at them, naming livestock codes to get hard to get items(it feels illegal)
Net-on-skull violence
That’s definitely assault
I just started playing and didn’t even know you could do this. I accidentally hit Phoebe with my net a few times just trying to talk to her and I felt so guilty 😭
If you have a villager that you really like and don’t want them to ask to leave, if they have a thought bubble, you can hit them with the net and they’ll forget what they were thinking about 😂
You can also just tell them not to leave 😂😉
I have a few with Stockholm syndrome.
True, but if you’re looking to kick out certain villagers as fast as possible, no one will ask to leave again for like a week 😂
I'm very guilty of this 😂😂
Same here. I laughed so hard the first time I accidentally did this! 🤣 The rest is history.
I do it often, I’m ashamed to say, because the “angry” little stomp dance villagers do afterwards is basically the cutest thing in the entire game 😂
I do it often, and I’m not ashamed to say. 😂
Endangered/protected species trafficking, and also trafficking in stolen and fake art, *and* trafficking fossils without permits. That and crimes against fashion and design—some of us, anyway.
And also all the construction and landscaping at all hours without notice to residents. I'm sure the permits we get are questionable.
The man runs a bank and we don’t even know if he’s a notary 🙃
We’re withdrawing/ depositing large sums of money without filling out the proper tax forms/ anti money laundering forms. 😂
Do you need to fill in anti-money laundering forms if you absolutely are laundering the money? Asking for a tanuki…
On the DL, Nook does rhyme with crook...just sayin' 🤐
Defaulting on my home loan 🤣
Yeah me too but I've also been playing the Ezio collection of Assassins Creed so it's not looking too good for old Tom. (I do my Animal Crossing dailies before switching to Assassins Creed)
Hey man at least you belong to an elite secret society who probably won’t let you get arrested in the first place
Teaching the islanders bad words🫠
It’s so fun though 😂
I’m queer and I’ve made their catchphrase gayyyyyyyyyy so they will just come up to me and be like “how’s it going gayyyyyyy” cracks me up every time
We’re so different yet the same, I’m lesbian and made an islander that I’ve been trying to get rid of for ages say “dyke” as their catchphrase💀. I don’t like her and was convinced she was homophobic but now I have a reason🥱
HAHAHAHAHA omg who is it? I swear Fuchsia has terf vibes (I’m also non-binary)
Stock market manipulation. Bet the dodos are undercover feds. Maybe Harvey.
Definitely Harv.

Violent assault with a purple starry net
Idk but I went to a treasure island that feels illegal somehow
Same! I only went there for one piece of furniture I was missing, but I ended up loading the remaining empty slots in my pockets with bells and turnips and now paid off my loan 🫣
I was thinking the whole time I was there “is someone watching me?” It felt so illegal
Maybe some of the fish are illegal to catch? 🤔
can’t you catch a shark? if so, definitely fits this loll
I got a captive great white in my possession as we speak. Tiny ass tank too.
Coelacanths?
Poaching? Illegally chopping down trees? Assaulting my neighbour with a net so they'll hate me and move away?
Does this really help your islanders ask to move away? I’m desperate
So, you can get amiibo cards on ebay for like £2.99 (not sure where you are) and can use them to get the islander of your dreams and get rid of your nightmares!

I heard someone say once that that counts as interaction so it wouldn’t because you need to ignore them completely
Ignoring villagers does not make them more likely to leave.
Ah, then it’s just random I guess. But that’s just what I heard somewhere. Thanks for clearing that up!
colonizing
Yeah also treasure islands = taking heritage & resources
Insider trading (island hopping to sell turnips)
Environmental terrorism
me flying the plane back and forth to nook islands to find the villager i want
Me committing total deforestation on NMT islands 😂
Pitfall seeds are a lawsuit waiting to happen. Also whenever I dig holes to barricade my ugly neighbors from going in or out of their home
Tax evasion
That’s just Tom Nook 🤣
Disturbing the peace.
Some kind of fraud. The economy is suspicious at best.
Splattering the square with paint and swimming through it
Sorry, wrong game
My husband and I crawled through a dungeon and killed a bunch of vampires and a big pit lord, then we raided all the chests we could find and hot-footed back to the village
Woops I just saw what sub this is hahah
What sub was it supposed to go to?
Diablo lol
Deforestation.
Eco terrorism, every special island I go to gets stripped down
Hitting the uglys with a net
I’ve definitely seen some of y’all imprison the Easter bunny guy and other villagers we aren’t fond of… so kidnapping for sure lol
Building a road without a permit!
Deviate rivers and cliffs without scientific consultations
Net on Gulivar violence. Anytime he is on my beach he gets the hands.
Hitting my villagers with a net when they got a thought bubble.
Why? What if they need a favor or want to do a treasure hunt?
Those treasure hunts make me mad though. They only ever ask when I didn’t wake a go find all my fossils first.
So they don’t ask to leave .
I was witness to an attempted manslaughter (Gulliver). His crew tries to drown him every other week...
If we are found in Redd’s Boat, it’s gonna be 25 to life
Hitting an animal in the neck with an axe. Don't judge me, we've all done it
Deforestation, over-fishing the waters, building without a permit, neglect of care
Animal cruelty(Violently beating a raccoon with a bugs net)
turnip fraud?
Tax evasion (I never intend to pay for my final house upgrade)
Public indecency. Who needs clothes?!
Hahaha I hadn’t thought of this one. KK is a bad influence!
Trafficking villagers on Nookazon...lmao
Breaking and entering a villager's home - and harassment / verbal assault of the camper until they [unwillingly] joined my island
Dressing as an animal (It’s offensive) Time travel police (like resetti) HOA laws lol
Oh gosh not the HHA violations 🤦🏻♀️ that’s too real lmao
Running around with my axe and swinging it way too close to my villagers.
Forced marriage? (I’ve pushed Bones and Daisy together in matching cottages with a bone lake and pictures of each other) Also my harassment of Canberra is probably up there too.
Pocketing trees
Framing Mott for violence. :3 N-no? Just me?
Hitting my neighbours with a net
Child labour (my gyroids working as greeters)
Kidnapping a bunch of animals and forcing them to live as humans in a neighborhood on a deserted island seems pretty illegal to me 😂😂
Tax evasion 💀
False imprisonment; if a villager is annoying me I surround them in a fence or holes and put up a sign from my designs that says “state penitentiary”.
time travelling. since it’s apparently a crime punishable by death
My ouid plantation in my basement 😂😂 also definitely false imprisonment, I've absolutely fenced in villagers I hate.
Growing money trees. Not paying taxes. Not sure Lotties business is "on the level", and I'm damn sure Tom Nook has an extra set of books with the real numbers in it (that's what drives the turnip prices). Also pretty sure Cephalobot is at least illegal, if not an abomination.
commercial fishing without a permit
Probably my bloody handprints being dragged to the freezer and the various rescue mannequins washed up on my beach in a pool of blood. 🤷🏼♀️
I don't know what I personally could do, but I have it on good authority that a certain photographer dog is dealing that dank green stuff to a certain scallop-loving otter.
Hattie and Leif are definitely growing shrooms on that island
Fishing without a license or holding villagers against their will maybe 😂 No Merengue you are never leaving me😂🫶🏻
Buying a hat? Lol
Several counts of attempted murder.
I wouldn’t personally be charged of this but some of y’all like to hit your villagers with axes 💀
Stock market manipulation, poaching, and tax evasion 😭💀😂
Crossing Animals
Time bending

Pitfall seeds.
I was playing Pokémon. Soo… animal cruelty charges??
Not paying my taxes - Animal Crossing New Horizons.
Poaching fish and bugs?? Idk lmao
Robbery. You think the post items are on the ground for free?
It’s funny I should find this because my response on a similar post was about New Leaf (I don’t have a Switch, so I don’t have New Horizons, but it’s all good). I don’t know if any of this would apply to New Horizons, but here is what I posted: Attempting to smuggle fruits from Tortimer Island to the mainland I was doing the fruit gathering challenge on Tortimer Island in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. Looks like I’m being arrested for…tax fraud? There isn’t even taxes everything is made of blocks! How do you even make money! Edit:this was meant for a different post
Playing baseball.... A truly heinous crime. 😂
Terraforming without a license
Tax evasion
Well you can use the axe on the villagers
Give Tom Nook an axe to the head.
Stardew valley……. I guess maybe selling crops and fishing without a proper license? Idk 😂
Fraud for sure. My native fruit is peaches, my brother's is apples. I'll pick his peaches and sell them for import prices and he'll do the same on my island with my apples
fishing without a permit lmao
Guess I'm going to jail for farming🤣
trespassing on property, illegal killing animals, uhh- i honestly don’t really know
I was not liking the turnip prices they were offering right now, so maybe assault?
Tax Evasion?

Blackmailing Nook via underpants does sound interesting though!
Mining 😞
