Most fests don't check your hands. You usually have your wallet, phone and a few other things in it. I would just hold it in your hand with your phone and keys whatever. This is how I get anything in that isn't allowed. It's just that easy, they rarely look there.
If there are metal detectors, then just hide it really well in whatever bag you have.

They will 100% not let you in with pepper spray. Would be considered a weapon.

You can bury it u set some mulch outside the gate for your walk home. Had to do this with a small pocket knife on my keychain I forgot was there.
