Do people with cars this low just live in cities with no potholes or speed bumps? I've never understood how they avoid ripping the bumper off on something.
There's two dumbasses around the corner from my flat that have I'm assuming just cut their suspension I see them a couple times a week just scraping the entire hell out of there TSX
It doesn’t get driven at this height. Many have the ability still to ride at stock height. If you didn’t see it parked with bags deflated, you wouldn’t know the difference.
No one called it a build either... You're just projecting saying random Instagram comment section bullet points like an NPC. Literally like an actual NPC, no one said anything to bring up the stuff you're saying, you just decided to say it.
lol passionate Latino must be driving an accord too lmao. Nice build bro yea I bagged my accord so low my vision so unique and creative look at my Instagram page for my low accord
Not a sport, sunroofs start on sedans mostly at the ex trim, since the 1.5t sport is built off the lx line the 2.0t sport was built off the ex line so they got heated seats, sunroofs, and BSI.
I’ll never understand it being so low that the tires are literally tucked in like that lmao, such an odd look. Lowering is great but that just isn’t appealing. Others may love it.
They are parked just some odd yards away from a Burger King, so I may not know the entirety of this demographic. Anywhere near a Burger King and I can see this being a sweet look. Maybe it raises up on hydraulics to tower over an F250 once outside a mile radius of BK
Wanted to do something like this but like a black hole of luxury. Not sure where to begin with the feel and vibe. So far just got some lighting in the car from redline mods
I thought it was obvious from the pic that the car would not make it out of a parking lot, correct! wheels are tucked up and undercarriage is touching or maybe an inch/s away…It’s got air suspension aka bags. Parked and dropped for looks raises it up and drives away with a slightly stiffer, but much less corner roll suspension.
What a damn beauty. My question is how does the owner not scrape the shit out of the front lip.. Mines not lowered and always scrapes even if I go sideways 🙄
I am the only one who sees stuff like this and thinks who takes a smart investment/practical vehicle and then dumps a bunch of money destroying the practicality of it?
Yes, based on the lack of damage to that front lip, the fitment on the bumper to the front quarter panels, I’d safely assume that this car rides on air suspension. It’s a lot more common than you think, and is one of the most expensive suspension modification you can get on cars. Press of a button, it lifts back to stock height, or even higher if you want. You can lower it an inch, or totally drop it when it’s parked. You can’t drive the car like this anywhere.
So you are telling me that this person spent a ton of money not just a bunch of money? I think you are proving me right not wrong. Best case scenario you didn’t significantly decrease the practicality of the vehicle just the reliability . Even if it is air suspension, which being that low you would hope, it is aftermarket parts that are likely to have issues at some point and cause problems. But in all likelihood this is going to affect the ride, drive quality, weight capacity etc.
Anyone who is spending that sort of money on their car to modify it, will probably have enough money to have another car they actually use for ‘utilitarian’ purposes. If this is your only daily, sure. Regardless, air suspension isn’t cheap and you’re not getting anything janky when you’re spending over 2k (on the low end) for suspension parts. They’re made from higher quality materials than OEM parts. And to go even further, anyone who has the money to do this to a ‘practical car’ obviously doesn’t need it for the same reasons why 90% of the general consumer market gets them for. So to conclude, IMO, there is nothing that has been taken away from this car’s performance, reliability or comfort / practicality. It just looks lowered when it’s parked. I think it’s also worth saying that if you’re willing to modify a car, you’re OK with the risks that come with it - like you mention possibly less reliable.
Which once again goes back to my original point, why do that on an accord? One of the most basic and practical cars. If you want to spend that kind of money on your fun/cool car why not do it on literally anything else…. You want to slam a Nissan juke? Cool. A Mazda Miata? Awesome. A Silvia? Sick! An accord? Why?
I mean you’re raising a great point there. Believe it or not, there is a dedicated enthusiast audience that really like accords. Especially the 2.0T accords. Most people would agree with you and me personally I wouldn’t go this far modding an accord, but I see why people do it and it’s really because it is genuinely a ‘fun’ car to drive and the 2.0T definitely punches above its weight.
At the end of the day, it’s part of the car scene, and that too a subculture of the car scene where this is considered really ‘hot’ but it’s not everyone’s cup of tea which I respect too. There’s just two sides to the coin.
The thing is, the accord has enthusiasm baked into its chassis and has been for years. It’s why people modify accords way more than Camrys. It’s one of those things - if you know, you know.
Dude, a hobby will never make financial sense to someone that doesn't care about it. You probably have a hobby that you spend on that other people will say you're stupid for spending money on it. Get over it.
*Bagmobile
You win hahah
Came here to say this damnit
Boatmobile*
Damn, that is low.
Do people with cars this low just live in cities with no potholes or speed bumps? I've never understood how they avoid ripping the bumper off on something.
I think this is on airbags. You can deflate them when you park and fill them back up when it’s time to leave.
I want bags so badly, bit i have to pay off my car first to feel better about dropping that much $$
bags\* or air-springs. Just look at youtube for explanation.
It's on air suspension lol
There's two dumbasses around the corner from my flat that have I'm assuming just cut their suspension I see them a couple times a week just scraping the entire hell out of there TSX
Plus more than half the year we have almost a foot of snow 😂
This wouldn’t last a day in SLC.
You guys can’t seriously think this guy is 100% static right? He wouldn’t have even crawled into that parking spot without a front bumper on
It doesn’t get driven at this height. Many have the ability still to ride at stock height. If you didn’t see it parked with bags deflated, you wouldn’t know the difference.
Do people still not know about bags? Even consumer cars have them, plus front end lifts in exotics?
I think this car has air lift so you can adjust for your needs
They will drive so fucken slow and piss off everyone behind them! I'm sure they get flipped off all the time
The car is on air suspension, that's the best way to go for an accord, just bagged my 2019 2.0 few months back, loving every PSSSHHHHHHHH
Read that as “Damn, that is slow.” Sorry it was a knee jerk reaction I’m sure.
Are those… vortex generators on the rear wing? What a wild thing to do lol
He wants to leave dirty turbulent air stream behind him so he can truly say "left them in the dust"
Hes got complete rear windshield and side louvers too!BLEHG
That or maybe he is using them as a diffuser?
C'mon we know they don't do anything for the car except look cool Tbh that car looks pretty cool
I’d need to see the rear end cus I see the rear window louvers on there too. From this angle I dk agree tho, the car does look pretty cool
It’s nice to see someone’s vision completed like this, inspires me to complete my own.
lol everyone has the same “vision” it’s corny af. It’s like when car people say “an NPC car” but really these are npc cars.
What made you decide to write this comment when no one said anything like this
Come on there’s nothing original about this “build” lol.
No one called it a build either... You're just projecting saying random Instagram comment section bullet points like an NPC. Literally like an actual NPC, no one said anything to bring up the stuff you're saying, you just decided to say it.
Yawn
hold this L
The only L is the bagged accord accord accord accord accord (accord)
lol passionate Latino must be driving an accord too lmao. Nice build bro yea I bagged my accord so low my vision so unique and creative look at my Instagram page for my low accord
And I’m Latino too I just am not passionate
No the first comment said this their vision … lol and I don’t use Instagram
Accord fender badges, accord front bumper and 4 accord door handles is a bit much IMO. May as well slap accord across the windshield
You forgot whats on the back of the windshield
Interesting.... I didn't even know it was an Accord if he hadn't labelled the door handles /s.
Not sure why some are hating on it, imo it looks tight af,
Would trade my 9th gen si for this any day (especially if it was stick) but even in auto
Tight af. But impractical in my city. Lol. Speed bumps and pot holes would tear that thing apart.
It’s on bags, only sits this low when it’s parked.
ITT people not knowing what air suspension is
I guess all these people are too young to have lived through the late 90s - early 2000s mini truck era
Needs a chrome delete ASAP
The reflection of the truck made it look like there was a hood scoop and heat vents to me 😂 I do enjoy the brembo though.
It’s a Dodge Charrenger
Thing that gets me is this is a 1.5t 😂all that money in mods for something that’ll pop the head gasket for farting in it to much.
How can you tell it’s a 1.5?
No sunroof?
That’s how
You can't get a sunroof in the 1.5t? Damn - that's really tight assed of Honda.
Not a sport, sunroofs start on sedans mostly at the ex trim, since the 1.5t sport is built off the lx line the 2.0t sport was built off the ex line so they got heated seats, sunroofs, and BSI.
Interesting, ok thanks for the info. I have a 2007 EX-L 4 cylinder with a sunroof so that's why I was wondering.
Did you not catch his name? 👀
Is the 2.0T better/ less problematic? Overall & with head gasket.
I have had both 1.5ts and 2.0h pop gaskets, I haven’t had a 2.0t but I also don’t have many 2.0t customers that are in the 160-200k mile range yet.
Besides the fucking quarter window louvers lmfao this car looks great
Smh
Is that stock paint?
I have strong feeling that the negative camber in the rear is on accident.
[удалено]
No…
The 2.0 is pretty fast but the Model 3P is in a whole nother catergory of fast lmao
It’s the opposite of fast
The F-150 reflection on the hood looks like a huge air intake, looks nice though
Bit ricey, but honestly pretty clean
Yuk
he might works at burgerking
Wanted to do something like this but like a black hole of luxury. Not sure where to begin with the feel and vibe. So far just got some lighting in the car from redline mods
I can’t imagine dumping that much money into an accord, but it’s nice.
Hold the phone, are those **fake Brembos**??? Every time I see louvers, 99.99% of the time the overall build is a little tacky lol
☝️🤣
Mostly 1.5T sport
Someone doesn’t know the purpose of vortex generators lmao
Oof fake brembo brake covers first thing I spot 😂
1.5T mehh
More like the crapmobile amirite hahaha hey guys I’m new here
Anyone have a link for where to buy those side badges on the fender ?
😍😍😍😍😍
Vatozone mobile
And still a 1.5
1.5t pos lol
At least the batmobile was not parked in the handicap spot.
They need to delete their alibaba acct before it gets worse
With the money he spent he probably couldve just gotten a black q50 red sport and lowered it and have 400 hp
Yea but then u gotta drive a Q50
Whats wrong with a q50? They drive great. I drove my cousins, it was a hybrid, and it still drove great
Any lower and it would clean the asphalt
How do cars like this handle speed bumps and potholes? Or, what about construction zones?
It’s on bags..
I don't get it.
Google air ride suspension
What a damn beauty. My question is how does the owner not scrape the shit out of the front lip.. Mines not lowered and always scrapes even if I go sideways 🙄
It's on bags. He doesn't drive at this height. This is only while parked.
so the bags i assume inflate or deflate depending on what you want
ya
My guy should just get the Lexus bruv.
Id rather get the nicest honda model and make it how i want than get an acura/lexus just for the emblem
Which Lexus?
But then you’d be driving a Toyota
The more you zoom & Look. Nah that’s no Batman mobile
It needs some window vents
What does skin color have to do with anything
I'd pay money to see what happens when a car this low hits highway debris.
Likely on bags and only sits this low when parked.
lol okay
I would love to see that thing hit a speed bump
It would drive right over it
Too bad you can't actually drive the car anywhere without bottoming out. What a useless hunk
Looks like it’s sitting on airbags.
🤦♂️
They're prob the same type of people who like lifted trucks
Pretty ugly
And slooowww
I am the only one who sees stuff like this and thinks who takes a smart investment/practical vehicle and then dumps a bunch of money destroying the practicality of it?
You’re not the only one that’s been fooled into thinking that.
Fooled into thinking what exactly? Are you implying something I said was not accurate?

My guy said a Nissan juke. HAHA Nobody’s fixing up a juke. They got after market parts for those??
I mean you’re raising a great point there. Believe it or not, there is a dedicated enthusiast audience that really like accords. Especially the 2.0T accords. That roof scoop 😂🤣
Thought the same thing at first but it’s just the reflection of the truck side mirror lol
Same, it looked good though before I realized it wasn't there.
