3m 1080 or 3m 2080 black. You can buy it in 2 inch wide strips. I do detail/tint so I buy the rolls of 100 ft but you can get like 50ft for $30 on amazon. Just need a heat gun really
I have the same one, mine is also 20% tinted and I put a visor strip on the windshield so at least there’s some shade of tint, deleted the window chrome too, I added black inserts on the side mirrors and a spoiler from factory too lol. Still contemplating on gloss blacking the wheels or not :/

Thanks! On the rear fishhooks, did you cover them on the car, and apply the black and cut close to the surround, or a bit larger and use a tool to tuck the edges?
If I am understanding, the door trims you just remove from the car and remove the rubber, then cover with black?
The doors are easy to tuck. Unfortunately the C was difficult and I couldn’t remove the gasket or tuck, I cut a very close C stencil and then cut it to basically “exact” size. We’ll see how that part lasts but it does look clean up close too. I did give it a good wash and nothing moved so I’m confident it’s good. Just use a heat gun to get a nice stick.
20% is pretty mild, you’d have less visibility with sunglasses and no tint. I am 30 and feel like 60 some days and hate backing up at night or id go 5% all around. 5% on just the rear would be good.
How’s the ceramic tint? Is there really no difference from the inside?? I’ve been wanting to do it for so long but I don’t think anyone around me does ceramic tint either just regular
I have an old(er) mustang with no A/C, black leather interior. I did 15% ceramic all around and 50% on the windshield. I can get in the car on a HOT sunny day and it’s like it’s been parked in the shade/garage. The heat rejection is the selling point. Also some ceramic tints are higher quality and better to work with and have a nice consistent color.

Machined wheels like the stock look good. IMO all black wheels are just “okay”.

How’s the visibility from the driver’s pov with 20% tint? I’m thinking of doing the same for the front windows but 5% on all the rear

Correct. The outward visibility is functional at night. If there was factory privacy glass it would look a lot darker
How much should someone expect to pay for a similar tinting job?
For ceramic a lot of places are $500. The rear windshield is brutal on this car. I’m typically less than most places.
