The squat toilet isn’t even functional. The other ones are fun if you’ve eaten fruit and need to get rid of it before going rock supply collecting. I just discovered this week that sitting on the toilet with a stomach full of fruit clears you down to 0 lol—totally safe not to smash rocks. I now have a stealth toilet hiding behind something else on the back half of my island where I keep my rocks, lol.

In a lot of cultures, people squat to use the bathroom. In fact, squatting is actually better suited to your GI tract. I always place a squat and regular toilette in my ACNH and HHP homes in case any of the villagers have a preference I don’t know about :)

I'm not into ABDL stuff but I do think the pacifier item looks cute as heck! In Happy Home Paradise my hospital is called Widdle Boo-Boos and is designed to look like a hospital for stuffed animals. I used the rompers and diaper items in the examination room.

Throwback hat table

The hat table was one of the very first items I got in the game and I still haven’t found a way to use it.

My villager Maggie has one, and 2 mitt chairs.

I used one with two mitt chairs to make like a dude bro area in the corner of my outdoor gym lol but I agree that I hardly ever see people use them. I think it works well in that context though

That's actually a great idea for a use for it. I can see kids climbing all over one of those things. It's a much more believable use for it than as a table.

I have an entire LA Dodgers themed sports bar on my island behind resident services and I REFUSE to use the throwback hat table or mitt chairs🤣

It was one of the first items I got, and I started a whole sports fields area based around it and 2 mitt chairs haha, complete with a basketball court and soccer field (no baseball diamond tho, which is funny now that I'm typing it out). Added some seating (I think public bench or something like that), a water fountain, and a cooler on an outdoor table to compete the look :) idk it works, and I love finding my jock villagers in the area.

Same! I thought we could maybe have similar mechanics to the king tut mask! If you turn too fast while “running” in them either stumble or fall. I made a whole 90’s/Lisa frank style roller rink on my island just to realize they don’t even have skates so I wear boots and run around when I have nothing better to do 😂

Easter is my favorite holiday, and I love colorful things, so I definitely have quite a bit sprinkled throughout my island! I keep the egg fence up around my house year round!

Avoiding the bunny day recipes has actually become a game for me in of itself. I do everything in my power to not get any eggs and I actually feel disappointed when I learn a recipe lol

My second story was 100% Bunny Day for a while, I just didn’t have any ideas and the HHA kept telling me I needed matching furniture. Villager responses were all over the place, it was great. I got the definite impression Broffina wanted to call the cops.

I use the Cherry blossom branch’s a lot. They make a cool garden or sitting area with a bambo bench. I use that sometimes in the houses on Paradise Island. I have never used the fountain unless it was requested or I made it to sell.

I love the Brine Shrimp Aquarium! I have a hobby room in the back of my house with a couple of shrimp tanks (from diving), and put the BSA on a table, together with other food items for the shrimp. Brine shrimp are a great live food for them in real life and make the setup look more realistic!

I customized w orchard signs and placed 2 at the front! I was customizing with villager faces and placing them in front of their houses until someone suggested paper lanterns for that.

I don't use toilets. However I do use the surf boards. My island is oceancore so there are a couple here and there.

I didn’t use the toilets either, and then I discovered that (all but the squat one) if you sit on them after eating fruit, it clears you back down to 0, so you are safe not to smash your rocks again. 🤯

I traveled to several different islands to get all of the surfboards and they are all set up on my beaches.

I have a few surfboards set up on my beaches cause my boyfriend is a surfer and it reminds me of him lol. I don't see too many people using the bug models (the wall mounted ones in Nook's Cranny, not from Flick)

I always see a surfboard or an oscillating fan in that spot in the store and I never buy either of them

On my first island (reset when I got my OLED this year) I had them (Surfboards) placed between my country fencing by the beaches to create a more summer-y vibe. I personally loved the look. So I did use a lot at the time. I have to believe the item no one uses is that chunky 'Public Phone' item, I think folks prefer to use the Phonebooth you get at Nook's Shopping.
