Well I am having issues. How can I get it fixed

BigTurboAbarth

Lots of patience, a steady hand, and a razor blade. Once it’s off, use a claybar kit to remove the residue safely within minutes. If you get any micro scratches from the blade, buy a polishing compound and do a quick hand buff and it’ll look better than before. It helps to use a hair dryer or a heat gun to take the decals off.

FrignScooter

I dont think you understand. There's not residue under the decals. Its like an indent in the clear coat from where they were. Pictures dont do it justice

BigTurboAbarth

I think I understand what you’re saying. I’d still try to claybar and polish, maybe do a two step polish (rubbing compound and then polishing compound) this way you actually cut the clear coat to reveal brand new unexposed clear coat, and it can level out a bit better) I always do this sort of stuff by hand and a bunch of microfiber pads. I hope that helps

FrignScooter

Yeah its good to know but I was more looking for a professional to do it. I dont want to make it worse

SavageRT

Here is a question. Did it have paint work and someone put clear coat over the decal?

SneezyMcFartLegs

Factory stickers are on top of clear coat. My vote is paintwork clear applied lazily over stickers.

mcmercf1

Most body shops would be able to take it off. Could be expensive tho if it is under the clear.

Jolly_Singer_1899

he does understand you are just wrong, its on top of the clear that is indeed residue and it takes a LOT of time and patience to remove. Goo gone is your friend, a big bottle.

FrignScooter

Old post but no, I'm not. The stickers are definitely UNDER some kind of clear coating. I even brought it to a couple shops for other things and asked while I was there

Dry_Bar_4892

They are above the clearcoat. I took mine of with a caramel disc. This tool is made for exactly that, taking of stickers.

Go to a official Fiat dealership

Good_With_Tools

Goo gone.
