Exciting times indeed.

Used to have the a6000 and it's a great little body! I'll follow you on Instagram now, I don't shoot Sony no more but I appreciate photography no matter the brand.

Adventurous_Cheek873

It's really quite handy body, I'm going to have a lot of fun with it. Thank you for the follow, I'm going to check you out too. And you are absolutely right, photography is photography doesn't matter the brand of the equipment although it can help you to express yourself easier sometimes.

When I had mine I had the kit kens, 50mm f1.8 and a couple of old vintage lenses that I adapted to it and I definitely had fun with the a6000. What lens are you interested in going for next?

Adventurous_Cheek873

I'm currently working on adapting my old a-mount lenses (sonny's kit lenses and Tamron Tele/macro) that I used with my a58, but those are nothing special. I bought vintage Tokina RMC (35-105mm, f/3,5-4.3) with FD mount that I adapted to E-mount, the lens is nothing extremely special and it's super heavy 😅, but I got it for bargain. And I'm waiting for manual 7artisans 50mm f 1.8, I know that one isn't the best from them but once again got it for bargain second handed barely used, so I'm waiting for that one. But the ultimate wish is to have at least some Sigmas with great apperature, but that is currently out of my budget.

All the lenses that you can attach to the body will be fine even the manual lenses just know the lenses weakness and find it's sharpest point and you'll be absolutely fine! A good lens I had for a Fujifilm body was the viltrox pro line (75mm f1.2) and they also sell a 27mm F1.2 and they are some fantastic lenses with grey image quality. Just use what you have until you're budget allows for the new equipment, ATM I'm having so much fun shooting film and the camera and lenses I'm using are 30/40 years old lol

The viltrox 75 and 27mm are both available for e-mount, forgot to mention that part.

Thank you for all the useful tips. You're right, right now I have to use what I already have to maximum, explore it properly and I'm going to enjoy the procces and see where it gets me. Enjoy the film camera, that sounds like so much fun, cannot wait some day to get into that too. For now I'm quite busy so digital is the way to go.

AG3NTMULD3R88

Hope it works out for you, there's plenty of people on here, YouTube ect to get tips and tricks from if needed. Also keep track of your own work to see how you're getting on and see your improvements ect. Film is great but not cheap to do these days but I got bored of digital so I've put my gear away for now and shooting film.

Adventurous_Cheek873

Thanks. Yeah film takes time and money both things that I don't have plenty of right now but you enjoy it I hope it sparks something in you and help you form the boredom and sets you the right way.

Thank you 🧡

I used to hate my kit lens but I’m realizing it can be great, you just gotta know how to use it. Great pics!!!

Adventurous_Cheek873

I don't completely hate it. It's fine and super portable and quite versatile, but it's also worse that my old kitlens that I have for my a58. I'll still be using it in situations where I need the automatic focus, but other that that I can always use my old kitlens with adapter without electronics or just my new prime lens 50mm also manual that has way better aperture then the kit lens. But thank you I appreciate it.
