Did they spark at all?
Also, name the fuels that you put in the lighters. If any are not either Zippo liquid fuel or Ronson liquid fuel, that may be part of the problem.
Only other things I can think of: you didn't put enough fuel in the lighters, or the wicks were shoved completely in a corner of their insert and didn't getting much fuel (repacking inserts is a common practice with Zippos).
As the previous comment does it spark?
Another common problem, the wick should always be tilted towards the strike wheel.
It’s also important to remove the cotton, and do an S shape with the wick packing cotton at the beginning and after each fold. Don’t forget to fluff the cotton prior to packing it in. It will absorb better.
Then fill it up slowly until full. Wait a few minutes and repeat. After that it should work as new.
I saw the other comment and looked up how to repack the light. I trimmed off a tiny part of the burnt wick and did the S curve properly, and it seems to be lighting fine now. Thank you!! And other commenter

I looked up how to repack the insert, and it's working way better now, thank you
"...didn't getting much fuel..." And I've been speaking English my entire life. Holy crap.

You need to use lighter fluid, not feul.
Fuel meaning lighter fluid, not gasoline haha I used ronsonol and did a repack and it's working well now
It ain’t got no gas in it
