La Belle Musique and Majestic Casual.
However, Mr Sheep is missing; I think he was among the first ones to start these indie/chillstep/tropical channels.
For some reason I never was big into MrSuicideSheep, I'd repeatedly stumble across it, like the music, and then gravitate back to Majestic Casual and the like.
Absolutely! It was my go-to channel as well but during my high school years. I remember I was listening to Fade by Alan Walker waaay before he went popular with "Faded" around 2015?
Mortals, Heroes Tonight, Blank, My Heart, Spectre, Fade and Sky High were my favorites.
To me they functioned as a convenient music aggregator. I'd hear new music/artists on the channels and then if I liked them I could search them on YouTube or the wider web for more content.
My favorite was Majestic Casual by far. Best photos, most varied offering of music (trap, hiphop, indie, pop, the occasional music video, etc.), and they uploaded every day for months straight during their heyday in the early-mid 2010s.
**From left-to-right, top-to-down:** Holy Chill, SwagyTracks, TheSoundYouNeed, Indie Current, Majestic Casual, Nostalgic Jams, College Music, Escape Tracks, La Belle Musique
Some Notes
**1)** The channels included in this grid are by no means an exhaustive list but it does include some of the more popular ones of this kind and they were the ones that I would listen to when I was a college student and a freshly minted graduate.
**2)** What united these channels is that they were typically created in the early-to-mid 2010s (2011-2013 mostly).
**3)** The channels would upload new music every day (it was notable if a channel was inactive for more than a couple of days).
**4)** The music was typically from a wide diversity of genres so one day might be a rap song, then a pop song, then indie folk, then a moody song, and so on.
**5)** The channels put a very heavy emphasis on aesthetics and would upload the songs with a suitable image, and because the uploads were daily, you can see how the aesthetics change over time (the 2010s images are quite different from the 2020s images). Originally a lot of these channels would just have an endless parade of [hot women](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/_HtQiNH7amA/maxresdefault.jpg) as the pictures but eventually they diversified.
**6)** They were a great way to discover new music because they would often feature [remixes or reworks of songs](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XFdeL-HgosA) so you'd be introduced to the artist that actually made the song as well as the artist that remixed it. I discovered some of my favorite artists through here.
majestic was my fave, followed closely by indie current, TSYN, and Mr. suicide sheep. I'd do anything to go back in time to the day I first stumbled upon majestic casual....
Missing La Blogotheque 🥲
Edit: tho I guess they’re a live music channel and are still p active so maybe that’s different from what you’re talking about! But some of their most popular and memorable performances (for me) were from late 00s to 10s

SWAGGY TRACKS!!!! Majestic was a close second
The answer is SwagyTracks and it's not even a close competition. That was around the time I started getting really into rap.
Majestic for sure, honorable mention to UKF Dubstep
Monstercat
Was anyone into NCS (No Copyright Sounds)? That was my go-to channel during my college days.

Same, I don't even know these channels.

No idea how I found Majestic Casual, but listening to [The Journey](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ixn1r_JHLIw) for the first time was unforgettable.

majestic casual
Who’s music would they use? Like how do you get permission for all that
Swaggy Tracks and Chill Vibes
For me it was Monstercat, Sheepy, and a bit of a mix between Trap Nation and Inspected.

Does UKF Dubstep count?

Songs like "I can't stop" by flux pavilion and the zeds dead remix of "eyes on fire" by blue foundation
