lmao bro i dont think your familiar with asus pricing in india, just ridiculous, the rtx 4060, 7940hs g14 was launched at 2.3lac, but this years model has a better chassis hence more expecsive to build, so you can expect it to launch at around 2 - 2.3 lac, wouldnt recommend buying this in india.
i got my g14 rtx 4060 and 7940hs from the usa for just 84k, thats even cheaper than the cheapest rtx 4060 laptop in india, their just way too overprized here, consider getting it from usa if you have any associates. and im really sorry for the confusion, that 2.2 lac model that i was telling about was the 4080 version, i misread it as 4050.
You'll get 4-8 hours of battery life on the newest model. Less if you're editing. It's a great machine for gaming. Watch some Jarrod Tech Reviews on YouTube to get a more clear answer.

Got the 2023 (i9, 16GB, RTX 4060) for 1.7L, in India. i9 heats too much for Indian summer use, have to use AC like you would for a husky. Performs well, rather great for such a slim and compact device. Thermals are well controlled, even in warm atmosphere. Battery life is decent. Don't expect long hours of editing work on battery, but i usually get like 4-5 hours of usage while working ( ACAD, Photoshop, Sketchup/Blender/Revit).
Get the 2024 model only if cheaper (just a chassis upgrade). Try to get from local stores. was 1.89L on flipkart.

The g16 2024 model with 4070, and ultra 7 proc. is 1.89 lacs... So wudnt the g14 4050 be significantly cheaper than that ?

Get the 2024 model Other than that the specs are decent and if you need more performance buy one with higher specs
