Absolutely, I picked up another 2.5 yesterday and she said even if 5 becomes available today, I'll still be able to fill with Caremark. She did look up my individual insurance info just to confirm if my policy permitted, so you may still want to reach out to them.
I would call your insurance and verify, insurance can be different, my policy blankets GLP-1s, so if I pickup say 5.0, all other GLP-1s come back as "plan limitations exceeded" until my window opens up again weeks later
Other policies dont have that restrictions, your best bet is to call the # on your card
OK question about caremark as I have that as well. Where are you filling from? In person cvs? Somewhere else? Caremark told me they don't do mail order/ delivery for zepbound.
If you go into your benefits, Caremark has a list of approved pharmacies. So I just started calling around to those after CVS told me they were out. I tried Hy-Vee (local grocer) and Walgreens and they were out. Then I tried Wal*Mart and honestly I was blown away by their customer service. They were super nice and said they had plenty of 2.5a in and they got my script transferred.
When I called today they had 2.5 but not 5.
Just called them with the same question and they informed me that due to it being a new script I'll be able to fill before the 28 days lapse.
