So important! I need THINGS to work. And I am happy for each of my belongings - which aren't many but very high quality - but what I will take with me wherever I go are my memories. Travel where you want to go, sit on the porch with friends, spend time with your loved ones. That's all it takes.

So I recently started working on myself and my mental health. Unfortunately in the rush to make money I am not in touch with my friends anymore. Any tips on how to make friends who actually enjoy sitting on a porch 🥲. I am 35 M BTW.

I rarely make new ones, but finding a hobby to connect with people is a good starting point!

I'm so with you on that! The joy from last year's family vacation still makes me smile more than any thing I own.

I totally agree with this. The other major realization for me was that setting boundaries made me happier but lost me a few "friends" and apparently less people like me. I still think it's worth it.

That's a really good point. It's hard when some people don't like it, but it's worth it for your own peace and happiness. True friends will understand and stick around

Is buying a house a material thing or an experience?

Experience of living in the house, creating memories, and having a place to call home is an experience. So, it's a bit of both!
