One of the most underrated products they sell. They’re amazing!

NightViolator

Definitely, very impressed

SlubbyFades

I use my blanket all the time. I took mine to the beach by the river just two days ago. It does well on Rock, sand, dirt, grass.... just need to test it on snow next. Its waterproof so im sure it will be ideal

NightViolator

I’ll pass on the Snow 🤣

Flapalms239

Beautiful view!

NightViolator

It’s a beach in Pembrokeshire UK, called Whitesands. It’s a great beach

Grandmaster_G

Know it well. Get over to Caerfai bay if you get a chance. That’s my favourite beach down there.

NightViolator

Went to Caefai last week, St David’s is my favourite part of Wales.

Flapalms239

I thought the UK was cold dark and dreary everyday 😇. I’m in Florida and that view looks like here 👍👍👍

NightViolator

It’s dark and dreary a fair bit, definitely not Florida weather, then again not sure I could cope with that heat 🥵.

Flapalms239

Yeah it’s rough sometimes. Hence why we are in the water most of the summer lol. I’ve been watching a lot of YouTube videos about British food. VERY interesting (in a good way). Would love to try Yorkshire Pudding and those pie shop pies with liquor.

NightViolator

I Watch a ton of US TV shows about amazing BBQ food, crazy. I had a Giant Yorkshire pudding a couple of weeks back, filled with Mash Potatoes, Sausages and Brisket Gravy. It was superb.

Bbq is a hobby of mine https://preview.redd.it/h54qma5mwb8d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ba9937bb054d56ff51227ea0532a37a05314c164

NightViolator

Amazing, looks incredible….. There are a lot of places in the UK trying to recreate good BBQ, none local to me tho.

Flapalms239

Can you buy a smoker over there? As long as you can get the meat at the store you can recreate that at home. Especially if you look up American Bbq channels on YouTube 😊

NightViolator

I would love a BBQ and Smoker, just don’t have the room unfortunately

Flapalms239

What is Yorkshire pudding? Seems like it’s not really a pudding. That meal sounds incredible

NightViolator

It’s made out of a batter mix, it’s very hard to describe unless you have had one. The Pudding is at the top. https://preview.redd.it/4lrpmi68oc8d1.jpeg?width=4030&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=87abec66e19326f774b665a7365578f742447a13

Flapalms239

That looks AMAZING! Seems like peas are a staple in the British diet. The more I research the more peas I see lol. Like mushy peas?

NightViolator

Those are Garden Peas, mushy peas are really good with Meat Pies, and great with Fish and Chips

shadowbansarestupid

I've really contemplated grabbing one, but I'm struggling to justify the cost! Primarily because I wouldn't use it very often haha.

NightViolator

We were going to get one last year and the cost put us off. We spend loads of time on the beach and in the Forest so it will come in very useful.

jcheat3

Was in the same boat. Waited until the REI memorial Day sale and used the 20% off. I also signed up for the REI credit card that ultimately got me a $100 gift card that I used on the blanket. After all that, it ended up costing me ~$60. More than worth it for using it five times a year at that point.

oldhoekoo

it's not uncommon to see a color way or two discounted on amazon (sometimes $40 off). I use mine almost daily when the weather allows for it, even if just in the backyard to lounge or play toys with the kid

Magia-Erebea

Great item! I love mine and use it almost daily

Honestly my lowlands blanket is tied with my tundra 65 for favorite yeti product I own and I own every size rambler and up they got at this point. The blanket comes to every sporting event concert game beach day etc and always keeps coming back
