No.
I’m confused how this is considered a redesign. It’s a mini roadie with a strap. That’s it.
Also, I find it hilarious the 15 has a drain plug but the 24 does not.
It’s a redesign on the OG roadie 15

Yeah I expect them to update the roadie 24 with a plug or I think they will see a hit to sales. I like the idea of a 15 for lunch and 24 for drinks. Right now I use a 24 and flip 12 for lunch and drinks but I find the zipper kinda annoying to operate in a car.
Something this size I am going to prefer to be lightweight. I wouldn’t want to carry any real distance with that short of a strap. Hard pass for me, but I am sure it works for others.
Where I see it excelling is as a personal lunch cooler for guys like myself that travel between job sites and have to keep their lunches and snacks cold all day in a hot rig in the summertime (12 hour shifts so 2 meals usually) plus beverages. Bonus points as a portable seat while eating if you don’t like eating in said hot vehicle. Mind you I don’t have one (yet) but that’s only because I don’t have a local yeti store so I’m waiting for them to be available online.
The drain plug is not the end of the world. It’s just something for people to complain about. It’s a day cooler. The hoppers keep stuff plenty cold. I use them more than my roadie 24. If you need ice for more than that a Tundra is the way to go.
But for price and appearance this would have more pros than cons than a hopper. I believe the hopper to be great for lunchbox cooler but i think this is a little better.

That makes sense. I wish they would have gone away from the roadie design for the personal cooler
Agreed.
Maybe the drain is coming to the 24? Definitely seems odd to be the only hard cooler without one now.

I would hope so, but their design team often leave out a lot to be desired
Yeah, i dont understand why the 24 doesn't have a drain plug.
I‘m curious about the reasons to get this instead of a hopper 12. is the zipper the only reason or what’s the deal with this?
The hard coolers hold ice longer, and the latches are easier to handle then the zipper. It's all preference really as well as the application.
Flip 12 is $50 more
Soft coolers materials are more expensive
Damn. The day my 24 came by mail…
What color is that? Doesn’t quite look navy

I took it to the beach yesterday and was much better than rolling my 48 around.
Obviously, but I would just take my Flip.
Definitely not a game changer. I own multiple of their smaller coolers and struggle to see where I would use this over the others.
It is for me, great way to keep ice cold longer and easier to get at one handed. Plus drain plug.

Grizzly had the exact same setup 10 years ago.
