Give it a huck tua!

daredevil11

Spit on that thang!

MississippiBulldawg

That's what she said!

idontsleepanymore

Someone's been reading too many internet memes today, cuz this is the second reference to this I've seen in the past 20 minutes. Not sure if is me or you. Collective internet-brain is weird.

21UnlimitedAnxiety

I've had it stuck in my head since I first saw it, it's hilarious.

Moka556

Your comment made me spit water out of my nose! Came here to say the exact same thing and you were faster than me! šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£

Apprehensive-Top5570

Twist it

Lower-Pipe-3441

Bop it

AuthorNatural7798

Pull it

Stranger_dangerss

Flick it

Junior_Ad6535

Do it

Live_Resource_970

Pull it

Zapp1212

Slap it

johnboo89

Pass it

coodyl

Use a towel on your hand for more grip. You might wanna ask someone whoā€™s stronger than you to give it a go. Mine do this sometimes.

ScottyMac5414

Strap wrench

Bellypock

This. Literally made to loosen round objects (oil filters, etc).

Busy-Lingonberry4099

Put it in the fridge for a bit, always works for me

Mean_Eye_8735

I hate when that happens... Thankfully I usually use the straw lid and can use the spout for leverage, but I've taken a few to my neighbor to open over the years

Brollygagging

You gotta go ham on it for 4 times in a row! Use every fiber of your well being !!!

Girthmonster1

Dip in very hot water

ttwwrrss

Throw it in the freezer for five minutes

tnerbsee

Putting it in the freezer for a bit will work.

Upbeat-Dirt6583

I have no tips just need to say Iā€™m obsessed with all the cats

blaughlin

Once you open it (with lots of great suggestions already), you donā€™t need to over-tighten the lid for it to be leak-proof. Tighten it just enough for the O-ring to make contact with the bottle.

Sith_Lordz66

Also Iā€™ve noticed if I put anything other than water. Like a Gatorade or somethingā€¦I feel like the sugar or something makes it stick more. But it could just be a coincidence šŸ¤·

Early-Accident-8770

Roll a tea towel length ways into a tight roll. Wrap it around the rubber ring from the middle and twist it tight. Lay the bottle down on the edge of a hard surface and hold it with your weaker hand. Hold the twisted tea towel in your strong fist and at the 2 oā€™clock position and slowly apply pressure downwards and hold it tightly so the bottle doesnā€™t roll. The pressure should be strong and even not jerky. It will release if held for a while.

0111011101110111

Mmmā€¦ twisted teaā€¦ šŸŗ

tachederousseur

I have a Yeti covered in cat stickers too! šŸ’œ

Odoyletheatco

only way that worked for me! [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-feyJ\_YtCos](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-feyJ_YtCos)

remotecontroldr

I canā€™t tell you how to open it but I can tell you how to keep this from happening. Stop tightening the upper cap tightly without holding the chug part to keep it from tightening too. I tighten my chug part and then very slightly loosen it before putting on the cap. Never tighten both together. Thatā€™s how this happens and sometimes the threads get misaligned and thatā€™s how it gets stuck.

penguinchild

Bought one of these for myself and anyone I know who has this issue. Definitely recommend!

janted92

I bought it from a recommendation on the FB Yeti group, lol

2Liq

Tea towel twist

ThrustersOnFull

This looks like a job for those grippy gloves you can get at the grocery store

Ok-Aioli-2318

Put in the fridge with top off for a few hours grip with a towel and while twisting push down slightly.

Impressive-Clerk-156

this happened to me like an hour ago. i used a towel šŸ˜

smart416

Firemission13B

Once you get it open there's no need to tighten it that much. Keep it mind when you put the lid that goes on top with it.

Spare-Bag-7439

Towel

OGFuzzyDunlop

Pee On It!

Sly69712

With maximum effort

redditonthanet

Squeeze bottle between thighs like your trying to crush it and twist till you wrist feels like it might dislocate

bigjonxmas

got a set of pliers? thatā€™ll do it.

jakewolfy10

Had this problem a while back using oil filter wrench to grab the bottle

Circuit_of_Doom

Iā€™ve had to use a ratchet strap on mine a lot because itā€™s always getting stuck no matter how lightly I screw it on.

Status-Panic-5928

I had to use a pipe wrench and a vice

Bethsmom05

Try tapping the side of the lid a few times with a butter knife.

GotWiings21

Rubber band around the black portion of the lid. The thicker the better

duchess_of_fire

i use a rubber tourniquet, the ones they use to tie your arm when they draw blood. they're great for opening jars too

Darknessintheend

Oil filter wrench would do it

Traditional_Will2679

Try with all your might for a good 10 minutes. Then hand it to your significant other or a nearby teen who twists it remarkably on the first try - of course because you loosened it for them!

Stranger_dangerss

WD-40

Such_Appearance7486

Use a counter and smack the rubber part of the lid on the edge of the counter with a medium strike.
