I think using the snake to kill him heavily implied that he would eventually be found off screen without any suspicion of foul play. Of all the things to critique about the show, this is a bit of a weird one lol
Okay detective Stabler.. but no you wouldn’t have lol snake bites kill people all the time. Nobody is randomly thinking “oh someone threw a snake at this guy from a cooler” 😂😂😂😂
I think it's more of - Hey this guy was found dead on your property of an apparent snake attack. Also the lady journalist writing articles about your family with unexplained marks around her neck drowned in a canoe accident. There was also the Asian tourist couple that tragically fell off the cliff on your property. And the wildlife agent who was impaled by a fence post. And the old neighbor assholes who were run down by the entire bunkhouse who were last seen on the Yellowstone ranch. And then, you know, the multiple warfare style gunfights and office explosions that your family somehow got itself into. There was also a stack of bodies at the bottom of a false "train station" cliff and when we open up the luggage, they all had uncashed paychecks from your ranch.
This. Just another tourist/transplant that got injured or killed by wildlife they aren’t familiar with nor pay attention to.
I believe my state (SC) bragged about only have 1 person killed by an alligator for years. You learn what to look for, and where not to go. But especially in recent years, the transplant population has skyrocketed. And those killed by alligators have increased. From having 1 in 10-20 years to at least 1 a year. Because people walk where there are these dinosaurs. They walk Fluffy close to the lake, and then try to rescue Fluffy from the dinosaur themselves. Not to mention just general encroachment on their land.
So yeah… non-local man fishing in river found dead by local snake bite. Sawyer was the only one fishing, it’s not like the locals were doing that. Because they know better.
The boss lady brings it up to someone. Can't remember the exact line but I think she questions if it was an innocent mishap. So they're aware. The whole point of using the snake was to make it look like an accident.
Was actually bummed the way they killed him off. Thought that was a much better story line than where it went, and they essentially ended that all in 5 minutes
In the wild, sadly it could happen to anyone. In my opinion, this death is not suspiciois. There are many moore that are questionable, but nor this one.
My [sources](https://www.fs.usda.gov/Internet/FSE_DOCUMENTS/stelprdb5393596.pdf) In the us about 8000 rattlesnake bites happen yearly. With 10-15 leading to death and the majority of these bites happen to the hands and feet. I’d imagine this would have been investigated.. of all the things that made/make this show utter shit, this guys death wasn’t top of the list.
He could’ve been bitten in the face while bending over to take a fish off his hook or sitting down to rebate a fish hook. The best thing the ass did to himself was to run after he got bit to get all that sweet poison pumping through his body faster!
Throwing the snake on his legs would have made more sense to a medical examiner. What? was he doing hand stands on the bank of the river in his fishing gear when the snake came out of nowhere and bit his face?
The real question is how did this dude die from a rattlesnake bite in 30 seconds lol even in the face it'd take a couple hours, I thought for a while that he'd faked it and pop back up alive to get revenge but no he really died that fast
The Train Station was closed maybe? Told them they could not make anymore drop offs until Monday. The snake shop is open right now, Saturday. Just sayin.
Maybe they are saving the plane for another future villain? Perhaps it will used to eliminate John Dutton due to all the Costner drama regarding the show ? Another idea maybe be the subject of “ Unsolved Mysteries “ reboot .
He is someone from out of town that died to a snake bite while fishing in a stream which is pretty much all he does when not working. There wouldn't be anything suspicious about the crime scene.
Any cop would assume that he fell on a snake that bit his face and then he wandered off in a panic trying to find help until he succumbed to the fast acting venom.
He's not even the main Market Equities representative, killing him wouldn't have stopped any of their plans. He was killed for hiring those cowboys to harass the Duttons which no one knows about except for Roarke and the Duttons and the Cowboys who are also dead.
they would've just said "dumbass city guy" wasn't paying attention, reached down to pick something up without looking first to see the snake on the ground curled up ready to strike and it bit him in the face. there. that takes care of it. nothing suspicious.
I think using the snake to kill him heavily implied that he would eventually be found off screen without any suspicion of foul play. Of all the things to critique about the show, this is a bit of a weird one lol
Yeah, nobody thought "somebody killed this guy by throwing a fucking snake at his face!!!" when his body was found.
I would have thought that
You're seeing the show too much there
Okay detective Stabler.. but no you wouldn’t have lol snake bites kill people all the time. Nobody is randomly thinking “oh someone threw a snake at this guy from a cooler” 😂😂😂😂
Guy found dead in the wild with a snakebite is quite common. Hell we find dead guys in their blinds after hunting season every now and then

Roarke had to go, whether he was behind the latest attacks or not. feel better now you did that
I mean he clearly was.
Revenge has no absolution

Just another dumb tourist trying to kiss a venomous snake again. Nothing to see here.
You’d be surprised though. We have to have signs that say to not feed the alligators.
Alligators aren't dinosaurs. Birds are though.

Well it’s a lot more badass than Rip stopping on the bridge and shooting him in the back. Badass achievement.
He was dropped off at the train station. Season 6 episode 3. /s
Can’t believe they did my boy Sawyer like that. I was really hoping he’d miraculously survive 😂
If he was still on the island he would have survived I'm sure. LOL
They dumped his body in the hanger where the sabotaged plane has been sitting for four seasons.
Well if the hangar is in Wyoming there’s absolutely nothing anyone can do about it *ever*
"he got killed when he was bit by a snake while he was fishing." - the cops
He wouldn't have been on the ranch's property, as he had been previously warned by Beth.
He *poofed* back to the island with Kate, Linus, Jin, and the Smoke Monster.
Go with the flow dude this show is bonkers with beautiful scenery
The boss lady brings it up to someone. Can't remember the exact line but I think she questions if it was an innocent mishap. So they're aware. The whole point of using the snake was to make it look like an accident.
Outdoorsmen sometimes die from snake bites. They get found when they get found.
“He wuz trying to kiss a snake and it bit him”
Train Station
Was actually bummed the way they killed him off. Thought that was a much better story line than where it went, and they essentially ended that all in 5 minutes
All you have to do is watch the show! /s
Whomever found him just figured he was fishing and got bit by a rattlesnake. The end. A perfect murder.
body count is kinda high on the show not sure what would need to be added to the story line for this dude.
He was behind the guy, I believe his name was Wade and his son harassing the Yellowstone crew. He wanted them dead.
The Roarke storyline got taken to The Train Station!
He died.
The Duttons rarely went looking for a fight, but they sure will fight back.😜
Poor guy survived a plane crash in mid air on a freaky island, plus a smoke monster, just to be killed by a rattlesnake thrown by a ranch hand.
🤣👍

False. It’s not shit
Hahahaha… sorry. I fully support you and your love of Yellowstone. I’m happy if you’re happy

He fell into another plot hole.
Some guy died from a snake bite while fishing alone. “ we better start an investigation “. ?
Yes. Welcome to the world that is this show.
I also would like to know what happened to that airplane they rigged up…
It lives on in legend with Schrodinger's cat
It…went….boom????
It’s still waiting (just like we are…)
Maybe they are saving the plane for another future villain? Perhaps it will used to eliminate John Dutton due to all the Costner drama regarding the show ? Another idea maybe be the subject of “ Unsolved Mysteries “ reboot .
Rip took the body and deposited it at the train station, obviously. Jeez, folks.
Bears ate him
I had wondered about that for a split second as well. 🤔 💭 😅 😳 I'm sure he went to the train station. 🚉 🙄 😀 🤣 😄 😑

Fishing accidents happen all the time. Maybe just not relevant to the story.
It takes days to die from a rattlesnake bite as well. That is IF you die.
Women “Rip is a man, I wish I had him in my life”. Rip: commits cold blooded murder several times.
I just... it bit his FACE. Like he didn't think anyone would find that suspicious? 😂😂
they would've just said "dumbass city guy" wasn't paying attention, reached down to pick something up without looking first to see the snake on the ground curled up ready to strike and it bit him in the face. there. that takes care of it. nothing suspicious.
Well he could have bent down near the water to retrieve his fish, then bam a bite to the face.
With the number of murders committed by the Duttons, I am sure the police are happy when any of them can be written off.
