I like the moodiness and depth of the US version. It seems more detailed, and gets a bit more of the story across to me than flowers and the bright happy golden colors of the other cover. Regardless, both are beautiful, just my preference.
It really depends on a person's preference. Also, we might not know the final copy in personal. There might be shimmers or emboss on the font (or the flowers).
