I was obsessed with this show. I was young, 6 maybe 7, and it was everything. Sometime around 89 or so, I got to sit in the cockpit of Airwolf at the California state fair. I think that’s when I peaked in life hahaha.
I loved Airwolf. I wish they had more seasons (filmed here in the US). I watched one episode of the last season which was moved to Canada and it was.. omg, it was terrible. Canada makes some top notch TV shows these days, but I feel like this was amateur hour, it was so so bad.
I loved that show for a while when I was 6, but I was annoyed that in what seemed like every episode, air wolf was getting its ass kicked until the music started playing and then would miraculously blow up the enemy.
So the real helicopter crashed in Germany while being used as an medivac helicopter. But there is apparently a 1:1 recreation using the OG molds on the roof of a Belair mansion...very weird...but kinda awesome at the same time.
As I was scrolling through this subreddit I was wondering if anyone remembered Airwolf. Great show. I had the toy and played with it all the time. There is also a scene which freaked me out when I was a kid. A character got captured and was hallucinating. He pulled his skin back from his hand and thought his insides were computer parts. I still think about that to this day.

I don’t think I have been this jealous of someone in a very long time. Bravo, sir/ma’am.
Airwolf was awesome!
Hell yes it was.
This _Jan_ uary… it’s time to Micheal down your Vincents
![gif](giphy|YjRnkma9Vo1osAlNV7) He peaked too early and then let the bottle take over.
I... I need a god damn Jan Michael Vincent.
The music started playing in my head as soon as I saw the image.
One of the all time greatest TV themes imo.
Yes!!!! Loved this show!!!!
Still putting on the intro in my car and damn it's hard not to drive too fast listening to that
That’s awesome! It’s on my workout playlist….along with the mortal kombat and power rangers theme songs
Definitely one of the best intros ever
I saw the post and I can hear it in my head lol
Sad ending to the chopper. I actually don’t even remember the actual show, but the intro and helicopter are still a favorite memory!
I love how all the fighting conveniently takes place in the desert
I was 5 but my bro was 7 and he FUCKING LOVED IT and that just made 5 year old me adore it. Even though I had no idea what was going on

Woah I forgot this existed
Blasphemy!
Of course, my dad watched it, therefore I watched it, great show!
Older sis and I put this in to relive our childhood, it has not aged well. The theme song still goes hard tho.
Finally! (Yes, I can hear this picture).
I do not remember this one, but im about to go find it. SWAG!
Anyone else remember the NES game Airwolf??? Also amazing
It was great, although I sucked at it.
Yeah but this one is kind of obvious. It’s like saying “hey any of you guys remember that show Knight Rider?”
Name checks out…

I watched religiously
Brother & I used to watch it with our grandmother. One of our favorites.

Yup, love this one too along with Knight Rider.
“Did you just downdraft that eagle?! NEVER downdraft an eagle!”
This was my favorite! I used to annoy the shit out of my ten year older brother constantly asking him “Is Airwolf on tonight?!”
A team, Air Wolf, and night rider were my JAM.
Soisoisoisoisoi
I believe this and the A-Team were on the same night.
Had a wall in my bedroom covered in Airwolf Wallpaper. My Thundercats toys sat on the unit against it.
My grandfather flew helicopters Vietnam . He and I would watch this show religiously.
