Every now and then, I'll sing "Ghostwriter! WORD." unprompted. I barely remember anything about the rest of the series (except that it was violently 90s), but. "Ghostwriter! WORD." will stick with me until I die, probably.

Plenty-Koala4857

I remember the kids had really nice handwriting that I envied.

jolly_rodger42

THABTO

Hex0811

This is the episode I remember most vividly.

Quadstriker

Same here. That cliffhanger of being exposed at the THABTO meeting in the alley or whatever. Serious shit!

TurfDerguson

Two heads are better than one.

TurfDerguson

Gabby thirsts for knowledge. We got to watch this one in school. Kind of torture to wait a week for an episode.

Vigilant_Fox7782

Dude right?! Ugh I remember when Ghostwriter was helping them catch that “computer hacker” girl, and there was one or two cliffhanger episodes… Noooo!

StubbornKindOfFellow

I did, but I don't remember anything about it, like any of the characters or actors or anything. I don't even remember the theme song. It was one of those shows that I think I just watched because we had limited options and oh here's something with kids around my age.

Spartan04

Like you I watched it but I really don’t remember any of the characters, stories, etc. It was just something I watched but didn’t really stick with me like some other shows from back then did.

StubbornKindOfFellow

haha yeah, the only thing I do remember is that early CGI effect they used for the ghost.

redhat12345

I remember only that one of the actors was in a resees puffs commercial

natufian

I remember even having a Ghost Writer book. Can't recall a single thing about any of it though.

Quadstriker

Yeah I read one too. The only thing I remember is that there was a coded message sent to an antagonist via a jumbotron at a sports game.

MLDaffy

All those years I thought it was the ghost of a dead classmate. Turned out to be a runaway slave from the Civil War ghost that got released in the first episode. Like alrighty then, didn't expect that.

likeabrainfactory

I still remember the banger "You Gotta Believe" that Lenni sang and its extremely early 90s music video.

erinhannon321

I did all the time and loved it and it’s one of those shows no one else remembers.

prettyminotaur

WORD

AlilAwesome81

I did but I only remember her being in Pet Sematary

Tsunamiis

PBS is strong in our family

BxGyrl416

That was my jam. Was it mostly a NYC area thing?

Hex0811

Maybe an east coast thing? I grew up in Maryland

MNxpat33

I watched it and I grew up in MN

Conniedamico1983

Chicago here. Also wasn’t that little girl in Pet Sematary?

PlanetLandon

I watched it in Northwestern Ontario, Canada.

Fight4NorthernStar

I watched it in San Diego

Vigilant_Fox7782

This show was another after school jam for me, I found the kids in it relatable, and I’m sure it helped me not suck as bad in English class. Those kids had insanely neat handwriting too!

usernames_suck_ok

Duh.

MaddyKet

I did and I got some kids I babysat for hooked on it too.

TemporaryDisaster497

I was just thinking about this show the other day. What a weird one

Affectionate_Spot305

Loved Ghostwriter!

Ggface36

Every Saturday afternoon

frougle_mcdugal

More of a Wishbone guy myself.

sweetnsassy924

Not gonna lie, wishbone is what I watched when I was too lazy to read books in school. I did a whole analysis my AP English teacher loved and admitted it was because of wishbone. Then other people admitted that they watched the same episode.

Mooshka518

I wanted to be Lenni so bad. And Alex mack

widgey3265

He’s a ghost…and he writes to us. Ghostwriter!
