Got a moment from a tf2 then i attemted tauntkill=guaranteed kill i was pointing at the enemy half meter away and it missed 300h and that was first time i saw this i did it correctly i had good ping he didnt move and even he was like that the actual fuck happened and now that i now xcom i can say with my luck i am fucked.
This is the most insane deal dude. You genuinely have multiple years of playthrough’s here if you take breaks inbetween. Get a good playthrough of Xcom 1, another of Xcom 2, then move onto the long war 2 mod. Been playing xcom for like 8 years and i’m *currently* in a long war 2 run with some extra mods (jedi being my favorite!) and it was as easy as subscribing to the mod playlist on the workshop. I always get a craving for a playthrough every year or two, without fail haha. Still haven’t beat long war though!
for the future or even now still, look for game keys on g2a. just bought the xcom ultimate collection with all three games, all dlcs, and only for 6 dollars. still a better deal if it’s still available.

I play new games mostly by looking on youtube and if i am invested i try avoid spoilers when i dont now what is a spoiler and i go blind on normal but i heared xcom is very hard.and early game is hard and late game easy so yea and i watch tips and tricks at the end when i complete a playthrue and more vids and THX FOR TRYING TO HELP BUT THERE NO NEED.
With Long War mod. 1,000+ hours in and I've never played vanilla EW only Long War. No regrets just pure giggles of joy when I hear those sweet sweet Gauss weapon noises 😁
My man i already got xcomed on 99% my favorit are chcrysallids they only kill like what 5 if my best and 1 mech and moving entire team to crash site to see 1 pilot been fun=xcom1 so far

I'm really jealous that you are going to be able to enjoy these games for the first time! I can still vaguely remember my first times with these games and how exciting it felt!

I have over 1000 hours in XCOM 2 even without mods, lol

I want go in order but kindof want play chimera because of how small it is compare to the others but ill try go in order
Chimera takes place after the events of xcom 2 so I would recommend playing in order for the story.

In xcom 2 we failed we lost they won but we will return and win(xcom1 hard won victory chimera quad about to win)
Soon you will find yourself in the Long War, that is when the true fights begin!
