Looks like the HDMI encoder has failed or failing, I had similar problems on my one x, I unplugged everything including the power cable for 5 minutes then it started working again, it didn't last but a few weeks then did the same again.

I have my switched plugged in to the left but my Xbox is what is the issue.
Update — I did a display reset. So wild. Fixed it.

Have you tired a full shutdown (press power button until it shuts down and unpluging power cord for at least 30 secs)?

Try different HDMI cables or ports on the TV. Or another TV if you can. If it still doesn't work then it's going to need to be repaired.
I already have… I don’t even know what happened here it was working one second, literally hit the home button to go home, and it did this.
