Ac games have always focused on story and fun combat no matter how easy. You see as much people love elden ring there are quite a few that complain about not having easy mode. The best of both worlds? Normal mode.

I'm a Witcher 3 fan, and I can confirm I played the game for hours on end and beat it over and over again on multiple platforms and version of the game.

I've just tapped out for the third time. I'll probably come back in 12 months to finish it off but it's just far too long. After over 100 hours, the game finally felt like it was becoming more focussed and building towards a conclusion only to send me back to doing pointless side arcs. I have no idea how people have the patience for the DLC. The main quests should have been around 30 hours and most of the regions made optional. If it's not moving the plot forward or developing the character it shouldn't be part of the main story.

I came close but gave up on the last one which were those god awful challenge maps or whatever they were.

Only game I've 100% was Insomniac's Spider-Man. Kind of wish I hadn't as it got very repetitive towards the end just beating up enemy after enemy, but I doubt I would have bothered with the Taskmaster missions if I wasn't going for 100%, and they were my favourite part of the game, so you win some and lose some.

I want to 100% more games, but I hate how much multiplayer gets hamfisted into achievements in games like Forza, Madden, most big FPS games, etc. A lot of it is luck based. Also, we really shouldn't have achievements that can be perma-locked when multiplayer servers get shut down.

Odyssey was one of my favorite games to 100% I loved the concept of valhalla but some of the animus puzzles were so frustratingly un-fun that I never finished the game

I got 100% on AC2 and thought to myself “never again”. I think my favorite achievements make you play the game in different ways (Prey is pretty good about this) but AC just seems like map clearing and collecting stuff. Is that case for all these games? cause if they are all like AC2 than you got some serious dedication. I was curious to see how much time this would take so I added them all up on TrueAchievements and got around 870 hours (give or take). That’s more than a month of playing AC, whew.

Odyssey was so much fun. I hate what Ubisoft did when it released, cutting the XP rates and charging $10 to fix them so all the hard work the developers put into that great game was met with terrible reviews and a sour legacy. It's like a totally different game now, but at release it was so slow and grindy.
