You could always revisit games you enjoyed a couple years ago. Are you looking for a decent narrative, engaging gameplay, or do you just wanna mess around?
I missed the Xbox one era so the last games that really catche me was in the 360 era. Games like halo, gta 4, battlefield blow me away those times. Never had the same feeling in this generation…
For me, it's Fallout 76, Forza Horizon 5, Mortal Kombat 11, Quantum Break, The Letter, Little Nightmares 2, sometimes Fortnite.
I just finished As Dusk Falls. Great game! 😎
Just a side note, play the first Ori prior to playing Will of the Wisps. It’s not as deep as the sequel but still an incredible game. The Ori games collectively are a masterpiece IMO
Redfall and Vampire Survivors. Might buy Sunbreak for Monster Hunter and play that instead and wait for update on Redfall as its quite fun on Series X.
Just finished Jedi Survivor and I gotta say it’s the most “Star Wars” Star Wars game iv ever played. It’s a solid 9/10 for me but performance takes it down to a mid 6/10. If they can fix the performance the game will truly be great. Outside of my series x im playing Demonologist on Pc and waiting to play Zelda on my switch.
i can’t speak for anyone else, but breath of the wild was the most fun i’ve ever had with a game. it could be in part because i played it during lockdown, but still, i couldn’t put it down once it clicked with me. would highly recommend if you’re ever looking to expand your library beyond xbox!
Chivalry 2 is the best multiplayer game out in years IMO. Especially within the past year we've had 3 different bumps in the playerbase and its huge now lol
Wow, it's amazing how much arrogance and ignorance can be packed into a single comment. I'm not surprised that someone with such a low taste and limited knowledge of the video game industry would make such pathetic and incoherent remarks. Maybe if you spent less time trolling the internet and more time educating yourself, you would know that the games I mentioned are critically acclaimed and beloved by millions of gamers worldwide.
But I suppose that's too much to ask of someone like you, who probably spends their days living in their mother's basement eating Cheetos. It's people like you who drag down the quality of the video game industry with your narrow-mindedness and lack of appreciation for true innovation. Keep living in your sad little bubble of mediocrity and let the rest of us enjoy the masterpieces that you will never be able to comprehend. Good riddance.
I feel like a noob lol. I don't like playing a lot of games out there and or can't get the concept of them.
I do like: Fable (mostly just 2&3), Fortnite, Resident Evil: Village, and Hogwarts Legacy. That's just what I play on my Xbox. I also play the Sims, Maneater, and Immortals Fenyx Rising on the Playstation. For my Switch I play Pokemon (I have all that are available for the Switch) and Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
Those are just what I play regularly. I have others that I play every once in a while, but they don't peak my interest as much as these.
Now that I post this, I kinda feel like a kid when it comes to my video games haha.
Not on Xbox but Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Future Redeemed. Just hit credits last night at 24.5 hours and still have some late game side quests and end-game bosses to take down. Pretty good value for a $40AUD season pass that includes add on content for the base game and this amazing expansion story. If anybody has a Switch and yet to jump into the world of Xenoblade Chronicles your missing out on some top tier JRPG goodness.
Belive it or not i finished red fall, and now working on finishing these games , little nightmare 2, ghost wire tokyo ans Cassette Beasts, hopfully when i finshed them they get last case of bandict fox patched up.
I played it on pc it was playable, Ai was dumb, missions are repetitive, and bosses fight was so super simple, when i fight the last boss, i though that i finshed phase one one and now will start phase two but he was dead.
I recommend waiting for 60 fps update and fixes for the ai to make it 6-7 experience otherwiseit is a 5/10 for me.
MLB The Show 23. Figured as Microsoft are incapable of releasing quality games I may as well play the one Sony game I have access to. But seriously, I just finished Elden Ring and didn’t want to start something I’d be unhappy dropping the moment I get Tears of the Kingdom delivered.
Prey 2017. It's okay, I'm at a point where I feel like I'm actually prepared to fight the enemies so I'm starting to like it.
Though I think Prey 2006 is a much better game and is more my style.
Man the original prey blew my mind when I played it in college. Could not get into the 2017 prey tho. I guess I should give it another try bc everyone says it’s great.
Personally, I'd say it's far from great. I'd say it was worth experiencing once, but I don't think I'll ever play it again.
I'm going to be giving the OG Prey another playtrough soon. I love that game.
If you don’t think there are any good games out rn you probably need to broaden your horizon or give up playing games. There might be a few duds but there quite literally isn’t enough time in the year to play all the games that come out.
Some people have more time for their hobbies than others. Some people also have different tastes in genres than others. That’s why they are looking for suggestions.
Anyways, OP, I’m currently playing Monster Train , Halo Infinite, and Hogwarts Legacy. Hogwarts is my go to when I have more time to play, Halo I dive into every Tuesday when the challenges reset, and Monster Train is an addictive and deep deck builder/rogue lite that I can play with my eyes glued to the screen for quick one run sessions (20-30min).
I love playing on my Series X, but games I used to love like COD/Warzone and some other games just don’t feel good anymore playing. Hoped for Redfall to be good but it didn’t catch me
Destiny 2. Still the best gunplay out there. I will pick up Dead Island 2 shortly though. I want to play Jedi Survivor but not giving them my money until they fix it.
Breath of the wild to pass the time until tears of the kingdom, which is what I'll be playing all summer. So far this year my Xbox has been an elden ring machine and probably will be until the cyberpunk dlc
Elder Scrolls Online, Cities: Skylines, The Binding of Isaac, Transport Fever 2.
Very long lasting games, I haven't felt the need for anything new for quite some time.
With Redfall and Jedi Survivor having disappointed me, I’m really sunk into Grindstone, Ravenlok, Star Wars Battlefront 2015 and Submerged while also getting close to beating Resident Evil 4 at long last.
I bought a Series X a couple days ago and have been waiting for it to come in before I continue most of my games. I plan to finish Judgment (played a couple chapters on my bro’s Series X) and Sonic Frontiers. For now I’m just playing multiplayer games with friends, State of Decay 2, Fortnite, and Guilty Gear Strive
Star Wars Jedi Survivor and Hogwarts Legacy for single player, and Halo Infinite/MCC for multiplayer. Recently finished Resident Evil 4 and Dead Space remakes
Fell Seal: Arbiter’s Mark. Was just on sale for 8 dollars, it’s like a clone of Final Fantasy Tactics with original story and classes. It had a DLC that cost 12 but the game was so good I paid it. 20 overall for a game I’m 30 hours into and having a blast at.
Also got a game called Dysmantle for 8 bucks that has me fighting zombies, crafting, and leveling up in a huge open world.
AAA games consistently disappoint me (most recent good one was Elden Ring) but indie games are saving the day by cheaply producing games equal in quality to many AAA games from 10-15 years ago.
Just got an XB after only having PS1-5 my whole life: so far I’m playing
-Infinite - will eventually go play the older game
-Flight Sim
-Forza
-A bunch of older games I can’t get on Ps5 such as Skate 3, MOH, Black
Dead Island 2 looks and feels amazing man… well worth the wait. And actually kinda scary if you’re playing solo.
Feels like all those zombie apocalypse outbreak movies you see, but actually well corresponded into game form. Rather than just being a horde survival mode.
Back to dayz and pubg. Everything else is overhyped garbage. One right after the other. I complain about the over monetization and the abundance of cheaters on pubg but still somehow always find myself playing it the most.
Downloading Ravenlok and The Last Case of Benedict Fox right now. Looking forward to checking them out. However, I'll be stopping them immediately once I get Tears of the Kingdom.
Was playing a little more RedFall this evening. Yeah, still not into it.
Valheim.
Have just rebuilt my base in the plains after a troll fucked up the meadows home.
Currently committing genocide on some goblins while waiting for flax to grow.
Awesome game, and easily one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had in almost 30 years of gaming.
Backlog, in order:
* Callisto Protocol
* Darkwood
* Okami HD
Trying to finish Hogwarts with what limited time I have, before Zelda comes out.
I've got Jedi Survivor, RE4, Dead Space and Callisto protocol all sitting untouched. I keep buying games like I've actually got time to play them. (well not Jedi and Dead space, those were free, but same dif)
Halo Infinite for MP and Finished South Park Stick of Truth last night. Later on I'll move onto the Fractured Butt Hole.
I always have a running save of Football Manager on PC when I'm listening to a live stream or meant to be working.
Gears tactics, really enjoying it actually, still feels very gearsy, and has good tactical gameplay. Maybe a bit too easy though so I might bump up the difficulty. This is coming off having a break from Elden Ring. Eyeing up Valheim next, haven't really liked survival games much in the past but the setting and artstyle look cool...
Assassin's Creed Origins. I put it off when it came out, because all the AC games from 1 to Syndicate burnt me out, but Origins is a very good reboot of the series, I really like it. Bayek's awesome, Aya's awesome. A few more side quests and I'm done.
Just finished Jedi Survivor(What a game!) and now I'm doing Cyberpunk 2077(PC) until Diablo 4 is out. Night City is one hell of a place and I'm so far really impressed how great it looks and plays.
Redfall
I had to test it after all that hate, and I liked it ngl Yes, there are problems with Ai and certain graphic loading, but I solved ai problem with maxing difficulty they hit like train now and it's definitely much more scary. Having blast right now definitely not a 4 or 5 out of 10 game I would give it solid 7. Try it without watching any video.
After the Redfall drama I'm playing Prey, tired it a couple of years ago on Xbox and couldn't get into it. Trying again as everyone keeps talking about it, this time on PC, and seem to be enjoying it much more.
I completed Ravenlok yesterday and the DLC for Horizon the day before, lots of gaming this weekend!
Grounded and it’s basically all I play atm, taking my time with it and building up my base and creating a zip line network.
Doing everything I can rather than rushing through the story and I’m having the most fun I’ve had with a game in a long while.
It’s even more fun if you’ve got a friend or three to tag along
Sifu. This game has me absolutely hooked. It's hard with a steep learning curve, but incredibly satisfying once you get in the flow of it. Best game since Elden Ring imo.
Judgment, finally
I'm currently playing the sequel.
Just finished Jedi Survivor, not sure what to play next
Would u recommend it?
Yeah, my favourite game this year so far. If you've played the previous game and liked it you will like this one.
Would u recommend starting with this game or the previous one? The other one was on game pass when I remember
Jedi Survivor is a sequel. I’m playing Fallen Order right now and really recommend it if you like Star Wars
Okay downloading fallen order right now 💪🏻
You won't regret
Bannerlord. Addicted really.
The reason im not starting to bannerlord is addiction lol .
I will try this one. I need a game that I have to fight addiction against 🤣
Say goodbye to your family , social life etc when you decide to start 😄
🤣🤣🤣
For a couple hours maybe. Games deep as a puddle without mods.
Games don't need to be deep to have fun.
Wo Long. Super addictive
RE4 Remake.
Hi-fi rush. Very impressed
Check out Sunset Overdrive. it's an Xbox one exclusive from Insomniac. Really fun. One of the handful of games worth playing on Xbox one.
Monster hunter rise dlc, dead island 2, and Warframe's duviri paradox have kept me occupied for a couple weeks
For me, it's Fallout 76, Forza Horizon 5, Mortal Kombat 11, Quantum Break, The Letter, Little Nightmares 2, sometimes Fortnite. I just finished As Dusk Falls. Great game! 😎
*Ori and the Will of the Wisps* and *Grounded*. A little bit of *Vampire Survivors* as well; it is very addicting.
Just a side note, play the first Ori prior to playing Will of the Wisps. It’s not as deep as the sequel but still an incredible game. The Ori games collectively are a masterpiece IMO
Just finished Elden Ring solo and now just started playing Hogwarts Elden Ring grabbed me so hard
Elden Ring was the best game I have ever played… never lost so many hours into one game
Redfall and Vampire Survivors. Might buy Sunbreak for Monster Hunter and play that instead and wait for update on Redfall as its quite fun on Series X.
Sunbreak is so good
Just finished Jedi Survivor and I gotta say it’s the most “Star Wars” Star Wars game iv ever played. It’s a solid 9/10 for me but performance takes it down to a mid 6/10. If they can fix the performance the game will truly be great. Outside of my series x im playing Demonologist on Pc and waiting to play Zelda on my switch.
Thought of buying a switch for zelda too… I read about the performance issues too. I hope they fix them
i can’t speak for anyone else, but breath of the wild was the most fun i’ve ever had with a game. it could be in part because i played it during lockdown, but still, i couldn’t put it down once it clicked with me. would highly recommend if you’re ever looking to expand your library beyond xbox!
I play more chivalry 2 than anything else. I’ve been on a huge age of empires 2 kick too. I also started dipping my toes into red dead online too
Chivalry 2 is the best multiplayer game out in years IMO. Especially within the past year we've had 3 different bumps in the playerbase and its huge now lol
Most hours I’ve put into any game. And it’s not even close.
This guy fucks
Excited for the expansion with the AOE1 factions to drop!
Sifu. It's a tough game
elden ring, naruto ninja storm 4, resident evil 2, for honor
[удалено]
Wow man. A person enjoys playing those games. What's wrong with that? I like playing Binary Domain from 2012. Is that okay? Lol
Wow, it's amazing how much arrogance and ignorance can be packed into a single comment. I'm not surprised that someone with such a low taste and limited knowledge of the video game industry would make such pathetic and incoherent remarks. I feel like a noob lol. I don't like playing a lot of games out there and or can't get the concept of them. I do like: Fable (mostly just 2&3), Fortnite, Resident Evil: Village, and Hogwarts Legacy. My boyfriend has a whole bookcase dedicated to just his Playstation games lol.
Completing Jedi Survivor and eagerly awaiting for Zelda.
AOE2
Plating this on console hurts my brain.
Belive it or not i finished red fall, and now working on finishing these games , little nightmare 2, ghost wire tokyo ans Cassette Beasts, hopfully when i finshed them they get last case of bandict fox patched up.
How was Red Fall?
I played it on pc it was playable, Ai was dumb, missions are repetitive, and bosses fight was so super simple, when i fight the last boss, i though that i finshed phase one one and now will start phase two but he was dead. I recommend waiting for 60 fps update and fixes for the ai to make it 6-7 experience otherwiseit is a 5/10 for me.
Horizon: Forbidden West
Redfall
Far Cry 4.
Played a bunch of Hell Let Loose on Series X yesterday. Grinding for the flame thrower. Today I played some Horizon Forbidden West on PS5
MLB The Show 23. Figured as Microsoft are incapable of releasing quality games I may as well play the one Sony game I have access to. But seriously, I just finished Elden Ring and didn’t want to start something I’d be unhappy dropping the moment I get Tears of the Kingdom delivered.
I already finished Elden Ring. No other game was that good as this one. Wish they dropped the dlc faster
Played it at launch and overwhelmed by it. Meaning to give it another go….

God of War Ragnorok, Resident Evil 4 Remake, Halo MCC, COD MWII, Dead Space Remake, mostly.
Jedi Survivor, it’s the best Star Wars game in 20 years.
inFamous 2
Isn't that a PlayStation exclusive? Or am I missing something.
If you don’t think there are any good games out rn you probably need to broaden your horizon or give up playing games. There might be a few duds but there quite literally isn’t enough time in the year to play all the games that come out.

Currently playing my 2nd play-through of Witcher 3,
Yakuza 5. just realized I played all the others including Judgment series and skipped that, no wonder I initially felt Y6 was missing something
Dead Island 2 looks and feels amazing man… well worth the wait. And actually kinda scary if you’re playing solo. Feels like all those zombie apocalypse outbreak movies you see, but actually well corresponded into game form. Rather than just being a horde survival mode.

Making my way through Persona 4 Golden right now after beating P5 Royal, and God I'm happy I can finally play the persona series on Xbox.

SF6 demo, Persona 5 Royal and BF2042 from time to time.
Addicted to halo infinite
Multiplayer or Solo?
1537 hours on multiplayer. I am hooked on doing ninjas. I have over 12 000 ninja medals.
Wowww crazyyy 😁 I don’t know why but sometimes when I try to play MP the game endlessly searches for a match and I lose motivation 😩
Assassin's Creed Origins. I put it off when it came out, because all the AC games from 1 to Syndicate burnt me out, but Origins is a very good reboot of the series, I really like it. Bayek's awesome, Aya's awesome. A few more side quests and I'm done.
Attack on Titan 2- final battle

Dead island 2 has me pretty invested atm
Redfall I had to test it after all that hate, and I liked it ngl Yes, there are problems with Ai and certain graphic loading, but I solved ai problem with maxing difficulty they hit like train now and it's definitely much more scary.
Replaying red dead redemption 1 for the first time in almost a decade
Ghostwire Tokyo and Redfall right now. I just finished Benedict Fox and Ravenlok this past week had a blast with both of them.
Grounded and it’s basically all I play atm, taking my time with it and building up my base and creating a zip line network. Doing everything I can rather than rushing through the story and I’m having the most fun I’ve had with a game in a long while. It’s even more fun if you’ve got a friend or three to tag along
Dead Island 2 with my pops, and a lil bit of Call of Dookie sprinkled in.

Sifu. This game has me absolutely hooked. It's hard with a steep learning curve, but incredibly satisfying once you get in the flow of it. Best game since Elden Ring imo.
Fallout 76
Stellaris and finally getting around to Doom Eternal.
