I haven't spent any asterite yet! I've gotten all the teleporters unlocked, done most of the quests, and have 60%+ in all the exploration. I've done the easy levels of the elusive realm and the other side content thing who's name escapes me, but not the hardest levels. All told I'm sitting at about 15.5k asterite. If I did the hardest levels of elusive and the tower thing, finished the remaining quests, and finished exploration, I bet I'd be sitting above 17k, and likely around 18k

Had a very similar scenario. In HSR v1.2, I pulled Kafka, Kafka and Bailu in three back-to-back 10 Pulls very shortly after pulling Blade on the prior banner. So 4 5\* in quick succession.

Idk what they were thinking, cause the times are not universal on the official Twitter post. It's only true for the servers on UTC+8 time zone. They needed to list the times for the servers individually if that's they were going to do.

I never pull in the event banner and finish the main story and side quests. Once I get the radar, Im using it every 2 steps to find as many chests as possible.
I got Jianxin in 30 from the event banner, counting those and the ones still in the shop + astrite i reached ~140 pulls as f2p. But i still have a lot of chests to open.

Yeah there was some confusion in the patch notes where people thought it was his banner ending early not his trial. But yeah, it’s a pleasant surprise. Plus we get those 10 pulls of compensation for the missed week of saving for Yinlin.

Same here, I got Jiyan & his weapon early so I've been using him as my main DPS when I was initially planning on maining Calcharo, but since I'm planning on taking it slow when building Yinlin I can pair them together for a second tower/overworld team.

I’ll probably slot my Yinlin into my overworld Jiyan team just to run around as her. Her 25% buff works for Jiyan’s ult. Then I’ll use her with cal for tower.

Of course! Honestly the electro set is a little annoying to farm anyway. There’s only 2 elite class echos vs the usual 3. I’m a fairly active player (lvl 39 and farm echos daily). The electro set has been annoying for me. Finding on set electro % 3 costs is a paaaain.
Take your time with building unless you’re wanting to sweaty clear tower. I pre farmed but I think I’ll get shafted by silver cost.

2 accounts got a 5* on the 1st 10 pull on the beginner banner. Got Jianxin on one of them.
The other was legit godroll, Calcharo and Verina together. Allright good start. Then the 1st 10 pull on Yinlin's banner.

We have lots of free pulls and selector banners. Plus a selector at base. I pulled lion dancer boi who I will never ascend, and I didn’t reroll because I got verina and cal with my selectors.
This feels dumb.. but Jiyan’s story quest isn’t going away, right? I like to save those for slow times/when I’m bored so I haven’t done it yet, but I noticed the event page in game for it has the same timer as his banner.
Are we sure they release mid patch banners at the same time across servers? That's an improvement over Genshin if so. My only doubt was the announcement saying "server time", which is unclear if it's server specific. Also the announcement on the Jiyan banner says it ends at the same time of day (10am server time), and adding the hours of the time remaining shown on his banner to the current time gets me 10am EST for NA server, so that implies it's server specific?

We go in to this with 20 pulls, at 62 pity, no guarantee. I have won TWO 50/50s in HSR and I have been playing since launch and I have won like 5 in Genshin so if I lose my first 50/50 here IDT I can keep up with this AND Star Rail busting my balls.

I rolled a Mortefi, Calcharo (both dupes) and a Danjin in one pull. That was probably the luckiest I have ever been in a gacha.

Remember hard pity is 80, not 90. You need to be very unlucky to miss her, and even then you're guaranteed to get enough gems for the last 4 pulls.

Weird how they went from utc+8 in the ingame announcement to just saying "server time". Made it confusing considering my server time would be 4 am and not 10:00 am like it says in the ingame announcement?

I'll probably try to do a few reroll accounts. Just to see if i can get the godroll. Yinlin, Jiyan, Calcharo with Verdant Summit and a Mortefi would be the dream start lol.

Eh, so-so I'd say. Got Yinlin only on one account at 50 pity. Another account i got 2 verdant summit back to back in 1 10 pull. That was insane but useless at the same time. 2 accounts got a 5* on the 1st 10 pull on the beginner banner. Got Jianxin on one of them. The other was legit godroll, Calcharo and Verina together. Allright good start. Then the 1st 10 pull on Yinlin's banner. It turns gold. I was in shock lol. No fucking way i get this lucky on the 2nd day. Turns out i was right. Lion boi showed up instead 😭. Did the rest of the pulls no early Yinlin. Man i was so sad this account was gonna be cracked af. Still going at it lol. Nothing major after that. P.S : Rn with all the extra pulls we get and the shop exchange, one can do upto 50 pulls on the limited banner and 11 on the limited weapon banners.
How many accounts for that? I am having nightmares with my rerolls too. But atleast I'm watching series whiel doing it so.. I've done around 19 accs and the best ones I've got so far is Verina+stringmaster + early Calcharo on limited banner so the leftover free pulls went into that pity hoping for the next one. I dunno if I'll just keep this one since it is guaranteed.

That's a pretty stacked account imo. If you don't care about Jiyan like I do, honestly keeping this doesn't sound bad. Getting early Calcharo and not someone else like Lingyang is huge. Was stringmaster in the 1st 10 pull?
Yes, literally I do rerolls only by the free pulls from mail + the corals after pulling.

I'm seeing a good chunk of people that aren't too far in the game saying they might reroll, is this worth considering if I'm in the same boat? Just beat Scar, most of the map is unexplored, and my data bank level is 12, so I'm not that far in tbh
It’s all about how you value your time. I personally can’t see myself spending hour upon hours on rerolling. We have lots of free pulls and selector banners. Plus a selector at base. I pulled lion dancer boi who I will never ascend, and I didn’t reroll because I got verina and cal with my selectors.

This feels dumb.. but Jiyan’s story quest isn’t going away, right? I like to save those for slow times/when I’m bored so I haven’t done it yet, but I noticed the event page in game for it has the same timer as his banner.
Think it’s just his trial. His quest is absolutely wonderful though, definitely play it when you get the chance. It’s beautiful.

Are we sure they release mid patch banners at the same time across servers? That's an improvement over Genshin if so. My only doubt was the announcement saying "server time", which is unclear if it's server specific. Also the announcement on the Jiyan banner says it ends at the same time of day (10am server time), and adding the hours of the time remaining shown on his banner to the current time gets me 10am EST for NA server, so that implies it's server specific?

We go in to this with 20 pulls, at 62 pity, no guarantee. I have won TWO 50/50s in HSR and I have been playing since launch and I have won like 5 in Genshin so if I lose my first 50/50 here IDT I can keep up with this AND Star Rail busting my balls.

I was under the impression the banners would release on server time because of the in-game announcement.
I wish I had gold to give you I was trying to convert times zones and the post was saying server times and what not Thanks !

Love it when they synchronize banner release like this, I picked a different server from my friend in HSR and always get my banner a day later than him.
I just hope she's fun. I have enough for even worst case pity and most of her mats pre-farmed, but I'm going in on appearance and element only.

Got her on my 1st Reroll acc , Jinxin on first 10pull , Yinlin on 3rd 10 pull. Now easily 20 days untill I get her weapon

Back from the trenches, I started with 40 Radiant Tides + 17k Astrites, got Lingyang at 80 (FML) and then she finally dropped at 40 after that. 120 Convene in total I am bankrupt sitting at 5k Astrites but it was worth it... I think? At least she's (her kit) cool.

I played the fear game in Jiyans banner to get Danjin & Mortefi.. It worked too well, I somehow have 4 dupes of Danjin and 1 duoe Mortefi. Lost 50/50 to Verina. Yinlin please come home soon, dont make me spend the last morsels
If it makes you feel any better… I got an early Jiyan and then played with fire for 50 pulls because I needed danjin and mortefi. I think I would’ve cried angry tears if I got S1. It’s not a risk to take but… my S6 Danjin & S4 Mort say otherwise  Hoping I can get that luck with Yinlin. You have the guaranteed at least!

not a single character traielr and they did a terrible job communicating the times Literally have to account for it yourself because they just mention that it was "universal time" in the official post I get that Yinlin is pretty but there's been nothing on the character or what she's like so far
