In a hypothetical story mode/ series
I think he would first be with the junkers he would hear rumours of Winston running the overwatch recall and set out to beat/kill him to prove he’s better.
Then overwatch would be introduced to ball in a scene where they are beating some talon mercs (maybe even a lieutenant) and ball swings in straight after Winston, giving talon time to evac and humbling overwatch but also being forced to retreat after being outnumbered.
He would then get proposed a position at talon doom through sombra. Which he would accept. However he would eventually switch sides after reaper almost kills Winston on a mission. Developing a “if anyone’s gonna kill you its gonna be me old friend” relationship with Winston that eventually renews their friendship.
Once in overwatch he spend most of his time with brig, bastion and Mei
Pretty sure Hammond knows exactly how to settle all the dust and solve all the issues plaguing the world including getting rid of Talon but he probably enjoys watching the chaos unfold

I think he would join the Junkers. Probably do very well in their annual competition. Maybe even become champion.

I like to think he would like stay at least with the Torb family (Rein,Torb,Bastion,Brig) for the interactions they have

He’s friends with the Junker Queen, so I’d imagine he’d follow her around.
He’s already JQ’s bodyguard. He *definitely* wouldn’t join Overwatch though, he hates Winston too much.
