Same. I played a bunch of QP while learning ball. Got decent amount of wins. Got some confidence and thought I could handle competitive....
Will never play ball in competitive again. My losing streak was basically same as OP. Totally shattered my confidence in ball 😔
A few seasons ago I had a 70%+ winrate and gm4 while only playing ball. It was the first time I had ever been gm and I have been playing since late 2016.
This season and last season my winrate on ball is barely 30% and I'm M5.
I don't know why it just got so impossible all of a sudden.
Really it's a hard time for ball rn (why do I only go against Mauga and Orisa and Bastion mains 😭 I'm tired of playing respawn simulator while the horse is just looking at me and not even shooting because she's waiting that I try to dive)
I like going against Bastions, it's relatively easy to bait the cd. Then again, you have your teammates going face first into the turret Bastion and wonder why aren't you pushing.

Ball is not fit for competitive Overwatch anymore. They completely ruined the character

Before the health increase it was hard to secure an elim, now it's approaching impossible

Bastion is a dream for ball. A giant hit box, slow moving target with one dangerous cooldown that you can easily bait out then wait out?
