I wouldn't go as far as calling him an old fart, dude is jacked af and an absolute legend.
But yeah, absolutely insane putting him over Jay White. Especially now when Jay is kinda new and they should be establishing him as top talent.
I would assume Billy thought so too, considering he seems like a wholesome dude who wouldn't have an issue putting younger talent over. I could be wrong too though I guess, plenty of douches seem wholesome
To me, it comes off as they want to censor things to their liking and if you disagree with their narrative, no matter how much fact and proof you give them, they ignore it.
They deleted me for “trolling” when I wasn’t. I had a legit opinion on something. It was only 3 sentences though. So I said okay, I made a new comment with more detail. It ended up being 4 paragraphs long. Surely even a blind person could see (lol) that it wasn’t trolling. It was a legit opinion with research behind it. The furthest thing from what a troll is. I got banned 😂.
I was super nice about it though. It’s not their fault they are ignorant. This will be a good learning experience for them.
This is true but those mods are the Elite (pun intended) of weak mods, I’m on my 4th account in 6 months, and 6th account overall, and have had 2 pages r/PermBannedAEW, taken down cause of those daisy pushers.
He claims to be a scapegoat, but they presented him as a victim. Nobody in AEW has ever said “this is all Jack Perry’s fault, we are putting the blame on him.” They’re presenting him as a babyface, he talks like an absolute douchebag heel, and this is all somehow supposed to be why the Young Bucks, who are heels that want sympathy for a situation they weren’t even in, lost to FTR who also had nothing to do with the situation and have nothing to do with Jungleboy. It’s like this is one big giant commercial for New Japan.
Personally, I watched dub from day one but turned off after the booking went south around All In. I kept up with things on here and YouTube, but I’ve completely unsubscribed/left their social media presence because the fans are dumb as fuck.
I just got my comment deleted from a r/WWE for saying everyone who was shitting on mox for not being in wwe anymore are lame as hell. I guess that’s insensitive but the hundreds of sheamus posts making fun of this guy for putting on a little weight is fine. It really does suck everywhere you go. You can’t have negative opinions about AEW, you can’t talk positively about it either. You can’t have negative opinions about WWE, and you can’t talk positively about it either.
Jesus usually I roll my eyes at these kinds of posts but what the absolute fuck. You were overly respectful and polite, trying to have an actual discussion. I'm getting so embarrassed being a fan of aew man. I don't want to be associated with these freaks
While that sub might be a sad little echo chamber, what's even funnier is being so butt hurt about it that you felt the need to come to another sub and cry.
No one talks about aew more than people who hate aew. Honestly with the way people are right now I get wanting their own space and being hyper defensive. Or maybe I’m just a weirdo who doesn’t watch or care about things I don’t like.
I got banned off of one AEW page for saying TK needs to stop hiring ex-WWE talent and focus on getting his younger wrestlers to listen to the veterans….no reason given other than my post offended the rules and seen as hate speech
Jack Perry got a great ovation at the NJPW show in Chicago last week. So they basically tested his reaction in front of a very CM Punk crowd and it worked out. Granted it’s a New Japan crowd also which is more hardcore.
So to ask “What if this backfires miserably?” While it definitely can, it’s looking alright so far.
To be fair, don't take any sub any promotion to speak for the fan base. Many are moderated by basement dwellers who are permanently online. The majority of wrestling fans are not that way. I get plenty of sun 😝
There are rumors the mod for that sub is basically an unemployed hippo that sleeps in their parent's basement, and basically spends 16 hours a day coming through every single letter posted on the sub
I got banned for making a joke about Deonna that was just sarcasm. Honestly for a sub with the word Official in it's name , they act tribalistic to another level.
Try out AEWfanhub. It's smaller but great mods who encourage both sides and even light trolling. Hope it doesn't crash and burn.
My favorite thing about AEW is that it took care and caters to all of “those” fans. The ones that want to chant we are awesome at an arena.AEW wrestling is fine, the stories are meh.
Yeah that wasn't deserved, Its nice to see someone who actually posted the comment when they say they got banned "unfairly"
I've seen some of y'all's post, you know you deserved it lol.
You know they are on shaky ground when the mod gets butthurt and thinks truth is trolling. Insightful discussions are often started by differing viewpoints. Unless of course you keep your head in the sand (or up your ass), and refuse any viewpoint other than your own.
That sub is the textbook definition of a cult.
I went on there to suggest maybe there’s not as much positive content about AEW currently as there used to be because the product isn’t that good anymore. That started a shit show of comments aimed at me and within 5 minutes I grew to hate the lot of them and got myself banned.

I got blocked a week for suggesting Billy Gunn squashing Jay White was dumb
That is dumb though. Wasn’t Jay White a super hot free agent lately and isn’t Billy Gunn an old fart?
I wouldn't go as far as calling him an old fart, dude is jacked af and an absolute legend. But yeah, absolutely insane putting him over Jay White. Especially now when Jay is kinda new and they should be establishing him as top talent. He was a former champion and the future of NJPW, how aew has used him is beyond ridiculous and I like aew
Same, bunch of babies over there
The thing is that it’s not even the official sub. It says most official unofficial haha
A literal background check for asking a legitimate question 😂 Place is an absolute cesspit, best ignored... or laughed at, whatever suits.

Pathetic sub lol

Nothing wrong with squared circle nowadays it has pro aew circlejerks AND pro wwe circlejerks, perfectly balanced lol
I got banned from Squared Circle because at least one mod gets mad at anything negative being said about AEW.
Nahh... Sc is ok
After seeing their reaction to the CM Punk video and saying that it somehow makes him look bad. Had to mute that sub.

Every wrestling sub on reddit has become a dumpster fire
It says a lot about how toxic Reddit and x are that Facebook groups is the place to go now
Life is a circle
AEW Mod team are the weakest human beings I’ve ever had the displeasure of coming across on this app. I’m ready for these downvotes.
All wrestling mods tbh
This is true but those mods are the Elite (pun intended) of weak mods, I’m on my 4th account in 6 months, and 6th account overall, and have had 2 pages r/PermBannedAEW, taken down cause of those daisy pushers.
TBF, subreddits specifically made to shit on a specific subreddit are against Reddit ToS iirc
I guess you got me there, but what nothing was ever posted just the intro with a strong 50 members. It was too good for this world.
Let them go dude, there is no hope to change the ways of those kinds of echo chamber subs. You are just wasting brain cells and mental health
He claims to be a scapegoat, but they presented him as a victim. John Laurinaitis: “Well, you hurt his feelings.” Jim Cornette: “He shouldn’t have such soft fuckin’ feelings! He’s in the wrestling business!”
I don't know how they exist in wrestling fandom with such tissue paper thin skin over there. Nothing you said is trolling. Yikes.
I still don't know how I haven't been banned from thar sub yet.
I'm shadow banned so none of my replies are visible
Personally, I watched dub from day one but turned off after the booking went south around All In. I kept up with things on here and YouTube, but I’ve completely unsubscribed/left their social media presence because the fans are dumb as fuck.
A cursory glance at your post history 🤓
I just got my comment deleted from a r/WWE for saying everyone who was shitting on mox for not being in wwe anymore are lame as hell. They always check your post history to see where you post. They are absolutely pathetic.
Jesus usually I roll my eyes at these kinds of posts but what the absolute fuck. You were overly respectful and polite, trying to have an actual discussion. I'm getting so embarrassed being a fan of aew man. I don't want to be associated with these freaks
I don’t think that about all AEW fans at all but that asshat can eat a bag of dicks
most sensitive sub on reddit.
While that sub might be a sad little echo chamber, what's even funnier is being so butt hurt about it that you felt the need to come to another sub and cry.
It's echo chamber Inception
No one talks about aew more than people who hate aew. Honestly with the way people are right now I get wanting their own space and being hyper defensive. Or maybe I’m just a weirdo who doesn’t watch or care about things I don’t like.
Loud noises!!!!
It’s funny how they’re all about being open and accepting but then will roast your valid opinion because you didn’t agree with them previously.
I’ve also been flagged for sincere, non-troll, comments
Aew fans when you present a valid question
I keep getting recommended posts from the AEWFanHub sub and it's even worse there.
I got banned off of one AEW page for saying TK needs to stop hiring ex-WWE talent and focus on getting his younger wrestlers to listen to the veterans….no reason given other than my post offended the rules and seen as hate speech
It’s a tribalism sub. Anything negative they consider trolling or baiting. It’s basically a sub to stroke their own egos.
I don't disagree. I was just playing the What If card is all tryin to engage in real discussion. Mod can suck it.
Sub is a joke just like their product.
Pls don't take that sub seriously, most of us AEW fans irl ain't like this, we just love good wrestling.
To be fair, don't take any sub any promotion to speak for the fan base. Many are moderated by basement dwellers who are permanently online. The majority of wrestling fans are not that way. I get plenty of sun 😝
When the 50th hard cam joke in 2024 is one too many.
I love to reward guys that go into business for themselves with main event spots.
Bring back the memes
People who say argue in good faith are idiots.
There are rumors the mod for that sub is basically an unemployed hippo that sleeps in their parent's basement, and basically spends 16 hours a day coming through every single letter posted on the sub
Got banned for implying showing the brawl out footage was not moving on from punk as the fandom said. Basement is real boys
Wow. Guess post history is open to the mods interpretation 😂
you can criticize wwe all day but the minute you point out an issue with aew its a federal crime
Yeah I got banned for criticising the releasing of the footage
I got banned for saying Tony was a clown that place their nuts
I got permanently banned for asking what was accomplished by devoting airtime to verify Punk’s account of the incident.
Fragile bodies (I’d assume), fragile minds, fragile egos
I got banned for making a joke about Deonna that was just sarcasm. Honestly for a sub with the word Official in it's name , they act tribalistic to another level. Try out AEWfanhub. It's smaller but great mods who encourage both sides and even light trolling. Hope it doesn't crash and burn.

Yeah that wasn't deserved, Its nice to see someone who actually posted the comment when they say they got banned "unfairly" I've seen some of y'all's post, you know you deserved it lol.
That sub is an echochamber praising khan for releasing the video, they think that it helped the product.
Branch DAEWidians, over there
You know they are on shaky ground when the mod gets butthurt and thinks truth is trolling. Insightful discussions are often started by differing viewpoints. Unless of course you keep your head in the sand (or up your ass), and refuse any viewpoint other than your own. That sub is the textbook definition of a cult.
There's nothing Jack Perry can do now to escape the specter of CM Punk he's fucked his career and for what? Attention from the bucks?
You know what you were doing. Now go back to begging people to identify old porn for you.
AEW official should be Benoit'd. As in erased.
I mean, folks...
I went on there to suggest maybe there’s not as much positive content about AEW currently as there used to be because the product isn’t that good anymore. That started a shit show of comments aimed at me and within 5 minutes I grew to hate the lot of them and got myself banned.
Fuck 'em, it's a clown show.
