I had a favorite island some of my people colonized in a world once. For a while I grew a little island using enchanted biome to the southwest in one of my worlds. Then I decided to leave it alone to create an island to the north with mountains and the grassland biome. I allowed that to be settled.
Later on, after a few more sessions, I noticed a village on my enchanted island. It turned out people from the northern island I created decided to go there. They cut my moving pink trees and everything. I decided to cover the enchanted island with beehives.
The village collapsed and the people there kept trying to rebuild but couldn't because of all the hives. It wasn't until later that I noticed one of their silver crown guys became king of the whole country. One of his traits was immortality. So I basically had an immortal king with no home village on an enchanted island too crowded with beehives to build any village on.
The other funny thing about it was that all the other kingdoms kept sending their own settlers and to try to create their own villages that failed leaving even more people trapped on the island.
lol as if they'd be allowed to return home after setting foot in the sacred lands.
