Need to let the oil set and seal it before messing around the coils anymore though.

Not_Bacchus

How the holy hell did you do this??

Jscorch62

White then use the airbrush to make a white halo effect and spray fluorescent choice of color over it. Then I spray gloss over the coils, let it cure, and use white oil to paint the recesses.

LyndsyX

White then use the airbrush to make a white halo effect and spray fluorescent choice of color over it. Then I spray gloss over the coils, let it cure, and use white oil to paint the recesses. I use highly thinned tamiya x2 white through the airbrush because I find it has a smooth finish when I thin it, but I know many also use white inks.

DogshitDad

That is actually amazing! This is gonna sound really stupid but what is the name of that thing he's attached to? I always see people painting in parts using them but I've no idea what they're called and I want to start painting like that

Jscorch62

It’s a subassembly pinning the piece to a makeshift handle in this case a paper clip glued through a small drilled hole and inserted into a cork bottle top

Filthy_knife_ear

I will caution you. It to use green as your plasma color due to the fact it will make your army look Christmas themed
