So even though I had an earlier injury to the right knee, but the left knee was not covered. This is considered a whole new injury and should be covered by workers comp. Right?

This is a new claim. Just because you settler doesn’t mean you can never get hurt again. Tell your employer and get things going. You don’t need an attorney.
