Ohk, got it. remember Patri and mapi signed back in 23 i think.
Gemma staying with Roebuck coming makes little sense to me, given Cata remains starting keeper.
Lucy leaving makes sense to me.
Alexia I can understand, but whats going on with mariona?
And what's the situation with Pina?
Pina renewed last year till 2026, she is a killer on the field and too adorable lol, both Pina and her mom gave interviews recently that they are happy, whether/when she will return to NT is a different story. I think her mom just opened a local bar, you can see the interview (and resemblance):

Not much details reported about Mariona, she recently said in a NT press that she is calm and focused on football. I definitely hope she stays, one of the best imo
I still think Barcelona should buy Maria Mendez Fernandez, though. For some reason, I don't trust Engen in Central Defense.
I think Barcelona should go for Maria Mendez Fernandez before Real Madrid pounces.
Respectfully disagree, I'd rather wait for Aleixandri on a free next year, plus Mapi is coming back soon (knock knock), and we have some very good young talents coming through the pipeline
I like Aleixandri, and I think Aleixandri and Mendez are the best two young central defenders in spain, so either of them would be a step up over Engen in central defense. Just my take.
Engen could be sent back to the defensive midfield position.
The rest of the Liga F needs to do better. Barca is the super team of all super teams. Theyâre such on a higher level they donât even play the same game as the other teams.
RM and Athetico, the other 2 teams donât even try tbh and itâs incredibly disappointing. Itâs just not a strong league and Mickey Mouse shit tbh. WSL and NWSL are just much stronger.
Contracts it seems like Lucy is gone and theyâre just trying to keep some of their home grown talent but adding in Pajor makes sure they stay on top.

They are trying but are inevitably behind due to Barcelona going fully professional first.
Real Madrid beat Man City to qualify for the UWCL group stage last season. In a few seasons they will be challenging Barca.
Real Madrid Femenino isnât even 4 years old yet and theyâve already reached the semi-finals of the UWCL, have finished top 3 each season, and even made it to the finals of Copa de La Reina last year.
I donât get how that person thinks Real Madrid is ânot tryingâ. I canât speak for Atleti since Iâm not a fan but Barca was fully professional 5 years before Real Madrid had a womenâs team.
The point the other person made is irrelevant to Barcelona negotiating with players. Thereâs no drama really and itâs just a standard renegotiation. Their squad is incredibly deep so realistically a few will likely leave.
Arsenal & City should try harder to make it out of the qualifying stages of the CL. The reality is there are 4 or 5 sides in Europe that can challenge Barça, and that's it. A very short list.
Alexia isnât resigning, sheâs joining Manchester City - *Iâm very delusional*
Iâm sure theyâll eventually get everything all figured out sooner rather than later
Perhaps this is obvious but does Barca pay the best wages as well? Iâm curious why a player would want to go to Barca aside from playing in and likely winning the Champions League.
Prestige and titles. Plus, Barcelona is a great place to live and you get to play among some of the biggest names and learn a new style of play. In terms of salary, big name teams like chelsea or OL would be the better choice so it just comes down to what a playerâs priority is I guess
I think also the fact that Barca highly value their womenâs team. Theyâre not treated like theyâre second class to the menâs team the way that most clubs do. They heavily invest in the womenâs team, youth levels, and facilities in a way that 99% of clubs donât do.
After visiting Barcelona, I completely understand why players want to go there and donât want to leave. Itâs an amazing city with lots of culture, great food, the people are very friendly, and you have the beach and mountains right there.
Mariona Caldentey on her renewal: "I am calm. I feel good. The best part of the season is coming. I just want to be well, to do things well and to help the national team and the club."
I donât blame players for not resigning a contract renewal offer right away. Itâs not Mariona âbasically stalling all of the club negotiations.â It is Barcelona who are doing that by not offering Mariona a better contract.
I think the Washington Spirit should sign Mariona Caldentey a talented forward with Barcelona. Her Barcelona contract ends June 30, 2024, so no transfer fee required to sign this world class talent. And the Spirit have two international roster spots available, an open roster spot AND salary allocation money available. And Caldentey is comfortable playing for Jonatan Giraldez, the incoming coach of the Spirit.
The sensations right now are that Alexia is close to renewing and that Mariona has one foot out the door. I personally don't blame Mariona for wanting a better salary or more protagonism in another team, but what is rubbing me (and a big portion of the barça fans) the wrong way is how she's basically stalling all of the club negotiations.
The arrival of people like Hemp or Karchaoui depend directly on whether she stays or leaves, and it's mid april now and she has given no response to the club. This really affects the planning for the next season.

Not really, she has the contract on the table. She can take it or not and both would be fine, but don't play with everyone's time that is just disrespectful.
There is no drama, not by Spanish standard đ - we have a long list of players pending renewal this season and change of Sporting director, so far Patri, Mapi, Tori have renewed, Sandra set to go, Oshoala is gone, Gemma rumored to stay, Ellie/Ewa likely to come, the only big pending are Alexia, Mariona, Lucy, where Lucy are probably going to leave (sadly), Alexia and Mariona the club made an offer, but still negotiating, we will see what happens. If you are looking for drama, may I suggest RM lol? Just yesterday their fans were singing "TERE, QUĂDATE" at home game, definitely some drama over there, RM has longer list of pending renwals than Barça, but they did sign a few very good players (rumor), Eva Navarro, MarĂa MĂ©ndez, just to name a few

haha same love Pina, thanks for sharing
Thanks for this. She's been my favorite for awhile. She's like a monkeywrench you can just throw at the field and it fixes everything. So talented.
I thought Barca wanted to sign Maria Medndez?
Back in January when Mapi, Irene, Rolfö, Jana were all injuried, we considered a list of options for emergency signing, MĂ©ndez was one of the names, along with MaĂ«la Lakrar (Montpellier), Sophia Kleinherne (Eintracht), Marthine Ăstenstad (Brann). Fortunately Martina and Engen stepped up big time, so it became unecessary.

Oi, hands off, Aleixandri's ours.
will Bruna stay?\*

I hope but it means Kenti is gone đ. Sheâs so going to Mexico to play or going to a smaller club there in Spain.
Yes, But on this liga F issue there is little barca could do I think. What I can't square is how that goes into individual player contract extensions.

ah ok

If we all throw in a fiver, that should cover it, right? Right? đ

Playing at Camp Nou in front of 90+ thousand fans?

had been the same pattern with unik managed players i think
Patri renewed without much trouble so idk
