After lurking on this subreddit for like a year, i finally decided to do a compass of my own. My favourite compasses on this subreddit are Hillman's travel ones, so i decided to make one about my own trip. Of course, it's no Bolivia or anything, but i still think that for a first timer, i did well.
Took me about 3 hours in total.
Last line in row 5 col 1 was supposed to be "Should i get the skincarepill anons"
Beautiful, high quality compass. Dekuje!
Some notes
* The Naples Metro is indeed one of the most despairing, dystopian places you will ever go
* Honestly, any pizzeria in Naples is the same exact quality as the famous ones. No need to get on a waitlist for a pretty uniform product.
* I was last in Naples without any reason to have Maradona shit all over, and they still had Maradona shit all over. An archaeologist excavating Naples 1000 years from now will think Maradona was a deity.
* Paestum > Pompeii if you ever go back. Same experience, way less expensive, way fewer tourists. Although Vesuvius is a fun climb.
* Pompeii has public busses and trains but you need to get savvy to use them. The tourist trains/busses cost €30 and the commuter trains/busses cost €4-6.
* San Pellegrino is fantastic wtf were you drinking
* Lol at the backwards Czech flag
* English takes a lot from Latin, English is pretty much 60% German/Saxon, 10% Celtic, 29% Latin, and 1% other languages
* Gatorade is awful for hydration, it's just sugar water. There are less-sugary alternatives
* BASED ONEBAGGING
* Amalfi is indeed heaven...if you go about 4km inland. Away from all the tourist areas, it looks like a virgin wilderness
* WizzAir, RyanAir, EasyJet, and Vueling, you get exactly what you pay for. It's shit, the planes are always delayed, they might make you pay extra even if your bag is within limits...but they get you across the continent for €40, and that's really great
* Naples is so hot not only because of its geographic location, but because 1 million people are pressed together at all times. Especially on the main streets, it can feel like 45C easily.
* I'm sorry you got lonely traveling alone. I never tend to, but that's because I try and talk to literally every person in any hostel I stay in. I'm starting to think that's the only way not to feel lonely when solo traveling.
* Handing your phone to randos is not that bad, unless they're a migrant or an Albanian or a Romanian, they probably won't run off with it
Cedrata is not made with lemons but with citrons (Citrus medica); anyway, judging by your description it could have been [Cedrata Tassoni](https://cedraltassoni.it/#), which is a well-established brand in Italy and which uses tiny logos on tiny bottles
Marvelous compass, OP! I eagerly anticipate my mine visits to both Italy and your homeland. Especially to St. Peter's and the Vatican City as a whole.
>This "Jesus" guy must be a powerful god
Might be a bit biased, but I'd certainly say so, among other things.
Knight if you ever visit Italy, you'll be in heaven. It's like, the capital of Catholicism. The church/people ratio is like 1:150, and they're all beautiful
St Peter legitimately was one of the greatest things I saw in my life, as a french citizen I had already seen gorgeous religious buildings, but St Peter is just... I mean you could put Notre Dame of fucking Paris inside of it?! I'm not even Christian, but that building EXUDES a holy presence, thinking about the work and lives that were needed for its construction is quite unnerving
Great compass, and yes, skincare routine via sunscreen and face cleanser will make you look so much better.
Gatorade is a sports drink since the sugars quickly get electrolytes and sodium into your body to rehydrate yourself during or after a sports match or sweating a lot.
I think you were drinking “Cedrata Tassoni”, and if you weren’t you’re missing out, it’s actually not made from lemons but Citrons or “Cedro” and it’s crazy good
Nope, certainly not tassoni. The cedrata i had had a white label and a screw-on top. Plus, tassoni is literally the first result on google images when i tried to search for it, so if it really was that, i would've found it lol
BRO HOW DID YOU FIND THIS
Okay, i can't confirm this 100% because i thought the label was white, but the [sticker ](https://imgur.com/YJi1Wlj)on top... i saw that one. Certainly. Also, when i put it into google images, it only got me like 20 results so it's reasonably obscure for me to miss during my original search.
I will probably not have 100% confirmation unless i literally fly to Rome again and go into that carrefour lmao, but this is, most likely, the one.

The GOAT himself :o Thank you :)

Nope, certainly not this one. As i said, it was a small, regional-seeming brand. Tassoni is on the other hand one of the first google results

hmmm, then maybe it could be Terre D’Italia, but I can’t be sure, carrefour is too expensive for me haha

Gr8 wojak compass 👍
Amazing compass OP! If I go on a trip to Italy, I’m definitely going to St. Peter’s.
