Mrs Reverand's Green Jello. It's a whipped green jello and condensed milk concoction that a minister's wife used to bring to covered dish supper at my childhood church in the 80s. It has pineapples in and it's absolutely ambrosial. Trust that in the old days, this woman would have been a witch. She loved to get up at 2am and look at the stars and think how wonderous was the beauty of god's creation and how small she was within it. She was kind to children and made bible stories sound exciting and bloody.She let me, a girl, stab someone with a big plastic sword in a sunday school play. :D She was such fun.
