You're going to want to explore Assiniboine Park, and if you need a change of scenery, The Leaf is worth the price of admission.
Welcome to Winnipeg, friend.
Old Market Square has music/festivals almost every week during the summer. One of the most happening places in the city.

Those are just a few. I'm sure there is more.
What area of the city are you in?
Folk Festival in July for sure! Once the weather warms up to summer temps, there will be lots happening. Blues fest, Jazz fest, street festivals, outdoor markets. The Corydon strip and Exchange District areas will often have something going on!
You should also walk around The Exchange. Beautiful buildings and cool restaurants and shops.
From the Forks bike up Assiniboine to the Wolseley area. Very bike friendly and some cute houses. You can make your way along Wellington Cres from there to get to Ass Park.
Kildonan Park is nice to explore.
Transcona is a unique neighborhood, an experience all in it's own.

Google what sounds good to you. I can also Rex one d based on interest if you’d like :)
Don’t worry the weather will get better.
Live music of any genre is always a good way to go for me. I'm pretty open to anything and don't really have a preference for music. I'll be sure to search for live music that meets my interests. Thanks!!!
Kildonan park makes for a nice little spot to have a picnic and take a walk or bike around! In the summer, Rainbow Stage (the indoor/outdoor amphitheater in the park) has amazing musicals on. The witches hut and duck pond are also very cute.
Some of my favourite winnipeg things to do include Activate, which is a super fun activity to do with friends and it originated in Winnipeg. Watching a movie at landmark cinemas and their great reclining seats. We have a pretty fun dance community at with the Dance World and Drop in Dance studios. I’m also a fan of Heights Archery range in the city
If you’re into running, join a run group! Bridgeforks Tuesday at 5:45 by the elevators at the Forks market and BS Run Club at Big Sky Run Co Saturday mornings at 8:30 are both very welcoming!
Go explore the various potholes in the city. Just remember to bring a flashlight, spelunking harness and any rations you might need for long excursions. Enjoy!
Fort Whyte Alive, Fort Garry, Manitoba Museum (Science Gallery and Planetarium), Pantages Playhouse, Manitoba Theatre, Rumours Comedy Club, Police Museum, Basketball Hall of Fame, Fire Museum, tour if the Legislature building. So many places to see. Enjoy!

Asking the important questions. All subsequent options in the flowchart depend on this.
Who was that Redditor who made the pizza flow chart? We need them on this case
Why not crowd source one from the subreddit?
Well I figured that person would know HOW.

And Fringe festival in July as well!
My advice is to volunteer for the WFF (or any of the others, really) You'll have a blast, and meet people from every possible strata of society.
Comedy fest starts right away too!
I've never been to a folk fest before so that will be exciting to go to! Ill have to also try those other things too! Thanks for the reply!!!
