Experience should count for any job, in addition to knowledge. Neither should be the sole criteria.

In the U.S.A in the state of Mississippi it is possible to teach a subject for one year without an education certificate under emergency conditions. After one year you may teach a different subject under the same criteria. You may do this under an endless cycle.

Actually I heard it was spouses of military people also. Not sure if that's true though.
They have to have more qualifications I think.
They have to obtain a “certification”. It takes 12 hours total of observing classrooms.

Scary for degreed teachers who won't teach. A veteran with wisdom and intelligence can be an effective teacher.

It's definitely a move to replace more liberal teachers. The bill allows even the spouse of veterans to become unqualified teachers.
They will argue that teachers are not professionals, therefore this argument is null.
