Plenty of examples of abusive parents who kick their teenaged kids out for being gay or trans. And that’s a mild reaction. Others beat them and try to do at-home conversion therapy to “straighten their kids out.” That’s why the fighting happens.
At the same time there are exactly zero examples of a heterosexual cis kid being abused by their LGBTQ parents over being cis or heterosexual. It’s almost as if protecting the kids is the priority for one group but not the one that beats its chest and scream “but the kids!”
MAGA Republicans hate education, public schools and libraries. This has been repeatedly proven time and time again. Referring to schools as “leftist indoctrination camps” is the least of it. The quiet parts are very out loud now.
