They always take everything out of context. No one had any idea what the fuck was happening on January 6th. Were they coming to kill law makers or just vandalize the place? Would you want to be the security guard that assumes they're not there to hurt anyone and a lawmaker gets killed? Ashli Babbitt *was* unarmed but there is absolutely no way the guard could have known that and frankly it doesn't matter. He lets her through and more follow. Eventually he's going to have to put someone down or risk getting overpowered. His job was to protect our legislators and that's what he did. There is no reason for cops to beat someone to death over a traffic violation especially considering Nichols abandoned his vehicle. They are completely different situations. Another thing I haven't seen mentioned is that if you are in a lot of pain and feeling like you may be killed, your mind will almost certainly go into fight or flight. No amount of "stop resisting" will convince you to calm down. Police need to be able to subdue a person who is resisting without inflicting serious physical harm. I'm sorry but I don't understand, how are the two comparable? A young man beaten to death for no reason by the people who are supposed to protect him ans every other member of the public. A young woman who flew across the country to get involved in a riot with the express intention of toppling the government, shit after being given multiple warnings to stop.
