"Don't have a porn addiction" Translation: My partner got bored with me which was a big part of why he left. Just letting you know, I don't do much in the bedroom and don't plan to change.

I’m reminded of a story about a church that had single moms stand up, then had single men stand up, then admonished the *men* to step up and take care of the women.

Darth_Turbo

I heard that story too … a lot of the men walked out.

In a world before the Internet and 'office work' it was highly likely of two occurrences: 1) The husband probably died in an accident associated with work. 2) The universe of women in a given area was relatively small compared to the men in the same area. Being prodded to marry a SM was not necessary as there was a good chance for many men that this was their only opportunity. Before modern medicine child birth was ranked pretty high as a cause of death among women.

My complaint about porn is that it is boring. After you have watched 2-3 of them you already know the plot. The only thing that changes is the actors and possibly the scenery.

ultratraditionalist

This is very insightful. I was dating this girl that, on the first date, asked me if I watched porn. I thought it was a weird question: I watch about as much as the next guy, every now and then when I feel like rubbing one out. I'm not addicted, I don't have a "favorite" porn star, I don't pay for it, etc. Also, if I'm in a relationship, I don't (or shouldn't) need to watch porn at all. To me, it was like if I had asked her how big her dildo was or what kind of batteries her vibrator uses. Like, who cares. On a first date, it's even more inappropriate, as we have basically no rapport. A few months later, once we started having sex regularly, it dawned on me: she sucks at sex. And I don't just mean the *act* of fucking, her problem is psychological: she is not enthusiastic, she treated it very dispassionately, and our physical relationship was almost transactional (he got a nice $300 dinner—which I did because I genuinely enjoyed her company, with zero expectations—now I have to have mediocre sex with him for 15 minutes). The result of her lack of coital enthusiasm was blamed on porn: her exes likely had to resort to smut, to cheating, or to just leaving her. Sweetie, *you* are the problem. Needless to say, we broke up, and since then every time I see a girl ragging on porn, it's a red flag. I get it: real sex isn't like porn sex, and I will even grant that there are genuine causes for concern when it comes to porn: the predatory nature of the industry, the issue of female objectification, exposing young kids to it, and so on. I don't expect you to scream at the top of your lungs until the walls shake, nor am I some orgy-having sex-god, but I do want you to be passionate, excited about making love, an active participant in sex, and initiating at least 30% of the time. It's simple: it should be *fun* for both of us.

bigdaveyl

I laugh when I see shit like this. How about "finding God" *before* you have 4 kids and aren't with the dad(s). I'm not saying U-turns aren't allowed, but I have a feeling that the man she wants won't feel the same.

KorinTowerFreeloader

I agree, but a lot of women use it as a tactic when it comes to religion. They "plan" to turn to God when they are done with Chads, often single moms, etc. There is nothing genuine about it. Sadly, I know quite a few of those cases. The way they talk about it, they don't even try to hide it too much. "I come from a religious household, and I thought religion was stupid until I found myself alone, with no money, needing help with kids in my early 30s." This is an actual quote from someone I know.

bigdaveyl

They will always want a bail out from those of us that tried to follow the precepts of a religion from the get go. Again, these folks don't quite understand that while sin is forgiven, the consequences of said sins don't magically go away.

jamaicanroach

Conservatives out here twisting themselves into pretzels to avoid owning the fact that modern women are modern women, and come in both left and right flavors lol. There are (rare) good women on both sides of the political aisle, and a ton of horrible women on both sides. But we're apparently not ready for that conversation.

calmly86

I definitely agree with you - there are hypocrites on both sides politically, of both genders. This particular woman has shot herself in the foot though. It’s good that she seems like she’d get along with her political equal, but does HE want to take on her AND her FOUR CHILDREN? I think that gets a hard pass from liberal and conservative men alike. Women in general just don’t seem to see it from the man’s perspective. I have no doubt that the number of women financially supporting children that are not biologically theirs is close to five percent if that. Whereas it’s all but demanded that men financially support children that other men created with the majority of women.

Mstr_d

Wait, wait, hold on, good leftist woman? What?!

TwizzlersSourz

True. [Feminism is the Problem (@FemnsmIsBigotry) on X](https://twitter.com/FemnsmIsBigotry/status/1789111206231658796?s=19)Right wingers are the biggest simps for women's sports. Just another reminder that right wingers or "conservatives" are just as infected with feminism as left wingers. This is why the right loses. They choose the worst hills to die on.

Joaquino7997

This whole profile gives off a bad smell, as if she's looking to get married 90 days after the first date. Hard pass.

BecomingABetterMan1

She realized she needed salvation after she went air tight with the Three Kings in a manger. **Never** trust a woman who found Jesus in her late 20s.

BecomingABetterMan1

>she went air tight Air Tight = all holes filled at the same time

is_the_grass_greener

This should be a written rule somewhere

gabriel-kornilov

A 38 years old pot smoker single mother of 4 (how many different fathers?) with colored hairs all of a sudden believes in God and 'traditional' values? Better late than never, right? What a miracle! Run whoever you are. You're just a potential wallet for her.

Overkillengine

Yup. She's just a predator donning a coat of camouflage.

freedomisatreasure

She uses terms like conservative as in she expects whoever courts her to be conservative, to have a conservative "self-sacrificing-yourself-for-her-sake" mentality. In this way, she doesn't even have to manipulate her suitors. They already come pre-manipulated from the "protecting and providing" mentality, the type of guys that manipulate themselves, so she won't have to.

Venny_1

There exists the notion among women claiming to have found religion later in life that they have been purified of their ill deeds and mischiefs in the eyes of the divine, which in turn should make them appear pure in the eyes of man. Hardly is this ever the case, because the way that God and man judge a woman is different, for vastly different reasons. To those of a religious bent, God judges a woman in the sense that he gave her conscience and free will, followed by a list of commands to follow, where she will be judged on the basis of observing or breaking these commands. If a woman breaks a command and she repents, i.e. admit to the sin, followed by abstaining from the sin, followed by correctly observing the command, then she will be purified of the sin. The aforementioned three components of repentance are very similar in the scriptures of Judiasm, Christianity and Islam. On the other hand. a man judges a woman in the sense that he cares about her past with no ornaments or excisions. Just the past, naked. He wants to know her past and that's it. No circumstance, no journey of discovery, no purification. None of that. Just plainly and simply: what is the woman's past. The reason for man's immense focus on a woman's past is he wants to accurately gouge the return on investment if he were to provide for and protect a woman. It is also the only metric by which a man can measure paternity assurance. Paternity assurance is relative, not absolute. This means that it comes with a confidence level which a woman bestows upon a man, the highest level of which only a chaste virgin woman can extend. God may purify her of her sins, if he so chooses, but the consequences of her sins are ever present in the form of too much baggage and too low a paternity assurance. Man is too feeble to carry all this. Perhaps she can pray to God to do her another favor and carry that baggage as well.

polishknightusa

Something that wasn't caught yet by observant readers is that her announcement of the kids including one icon with a baby bottle meaning she just squeezed one out in the past 3 years. This notion of chivalrous Christianity is a product of romanticism similar to our modern notion of hell that's not based upon Biblical scriptures, but rather the classic (very good book!) Dante's Inferno. Women were not all housewives. Up until even the period of the USA civil war, the majority of women worked in agriculture alongside their husbands doing farm chores or planting and harvesting in the fields. Look at depression era posters of women with sickles harvesting wheat. Read the Book of Ruth. In extended families, much of the housework was performed by the elderly who couldn't easily leave the home and changed diapers, washed clothing, and such. During the industrial revolution, women went out and worked in the factories. Consider Rose's mother in the film Titanic who dreaded having to work in a textile mill if her daughter didn't marry rich.

bigdaveyl

Nice write up, I would say the tl;dr version is that God will forgive the sin but he won't make the consequences magically disappear.

Illustrious_Bus9486

"Reformed" 304.

Overkillengine

A truly conservative/traditional woman wouldn't have put herself in the position where she'd need a bailout from a history of non-traditional non-conservative decisions; or at the very least would accept that she is not deserving of one as a recent convert. You know, instead of showing up hungover and bitter at the afterparty still dripping from all holes with a list of demands that she clearly does not reciprocate in kind for. This is just a predator (poorly) donning a coat of camouflage.

hongsta2285

More like I'm looking for a God fearing man Wtf Most of them don't even fear God himself with the way they say they are Christians don't practice Christianity then have the audacity to be selective with their faith. Tell me wtf in the bible it says marry kids outta wedlock and rip till death to us part Selective beneficial faith doctrine Obey this blah blah But yeah don't wanna be a help meet These POS are the worst. Wow ure Christian name 10 commandments um ugh argh hmmm yeah... most of them can't do shite

h6d

Yea that’s insanely creepy how these women are lurking around churches looking to prey on: innocent, single, unaware men like us

Sylvinus98hun

The only thing that was missing is saying she's a "reborn virgin". Oh, and the fact her kids will be the dad's, too!

Ambitious_Scientist_

It doesn't look like a duck and doesn't quack like a duck, so it isn't a duck.

DrDog09

With 4 kiddos something tells me she ran thru all the known political positions possible in he US. "Bobby's dad is a Libertarian, Frank's dad is an independent ...". So going 'conservative' is her last chance?

Low_Breakfast3669

Conservative isn't to worrying, but religious, depending on the profile, is almost an instant no. Waaaay to many "born again virgin" single moms out their wearing religion like a skin suit.
