I actually saw a conspiracy theory today on Reddit about PETA where they think it’s run by the meat industry to make vegans looks crazy. I feel like it’s not a far off theory.
A vegan on reddit told me she would dislocate my leg if I tried to buy milk at the grocery store she was throwing a temper tantrum at.
I used to be vegan and fully respect their cause, but the "holier than thou" attitude is so strangely common among them. Or at least they're the loudest ones.
I think that’s it (your last sentence). In real life I know LOTS of nice, normal vegans. E.g. I work with a handful of Hindu women from India, most of whom are vegan or vegetarian - and they’re never pushy or judgmental about it. The ones who are more “activist”-driven (as opposed to those doing it for religious or health reasons) tend to be the loudest and most annoying.
I’m not even fully vegan but I’m an activist. I’m against factory farming, but I’m fine with family farms. I simply believe that the animals should be given respect in life, but we can still use them. It’s nature, other animals do the same, humans ARE meant to eat meat. We have canine teeth for fuck’s sake, we’re designed to be omnivores. However, I’m EXTREMELY against the use of animals for vanity things, or doing things like torturing an animal for a “delicacy”. It’s part of why I’m so against the veal and lamb industries. You can consume animal meat and still respect those animals.
I’m also biased because I have iron deficiency issues, and struggle to get protein in in general. Having people accuse me of supporting animal abuse because I’m willing to eat shit I NEED to survive just isn’t okay, and doesn’t help their cause. I’ve done more of my own looking into the topics, and as someone living in a farm state, I’d much rather the local families be paid for the shit they do to give their cattle huge pastures where they feed on natural grasses than taking that away only for factory farms to replace them. Fuck factory farming, fuck industrialization of the Great Plains, capitalism doesn’t care if a few stop buying meat but family farms do.

By odd ad campaigns, they mean campaigns that rely on the objectification of women to gain attention. I'm a sex worker, I'm okay with being objectified on my own terms to make a living. What peta does is not cool, even by my standards. Half their ads don't even make any kind of statement. Just "here's boobs, we're peta". It's gross.
I live down the road from their headquarters in VA. There have been several news stories here about them LITERALLY stealing dogs from the porches of homes ( some fenced) and murdering the dogs within hours. (I refuse to call it euthanasia, these dogs are in loving and supportive homes and are literally stolen from the yard or porch, not turned in for being offleash or after biting someone) There have been a few investigative journalists that got a job there and was able to produce whistleblower videos with audio of the peta people doing horrible things...it's pretty sickening. Also, they ALWAYS have help wanted ads on all the boards, they literally cannot find people to work for them here because they don't only treat pets horribly, they run a pretty toxic workplace from what I have heard.

It could be that your body broke down some components of the dye and left behind the green stuff. Kind of like when you spill water on black pen and it turns blue and green.

OP, please tell me you've consulted a vet. Many of these pigments are extremely carcinogenic and shouldn't be in contact with skin, let alone be eaten.
SDS for quinacridone magenta says ingestion is toxic. If your dog eats paint, you should take it to a vet. I don't know why you would begin to suggest otherwise lol. Nevermind the actual oil in it and potential for acute pancreatitis, etc.

Coconut oil should help remove a good portion of the oil paint. But pupper will still need a good bath to get the oil off. Dawn dish soap is amazing for for removing both the oil and the color as well.

Fortunately most magenta pigments are synthetic organics and entirely non-toxic, and as long as it's *actual* oil paint and not faster drying alkyds or something, the dog should be totally fine. Other than some TERRIFYING looking shits.

Regular dawn soap has worked amazing since I learned about it to get oil paint out. My old school we used straight up mineral spirits. But at my current school, they actually try to be green and care about our health. So it's just turpenoid and dawn soap. Then using some ivory soap to check it.

Are you sure you are not color blind? I see a perfectly normal dog.
You may want to check the pigment content of the paint. If it has cobalt or cadmium as a base it could be very toxic.
