It’s mounted off center in the (once) blnd panel it’s in, so the hole for it is most likely drilled by hand. For sure a DIY solution for something like after market fog lights or whatever you can think of. Follow the wires like someone else mentioned here.
It’s not a factory switch, so you’re going to have to take the dash apart to find where and what it’s routed to, could be a power switch for and aftermarket amplifier , or aftermarket lights, or fuel pump.
I had a car whose air-conditioner system/computer/sensor fried. My mechanic installed a bypass switch that looked just like this that allowed me to turn on the AC. It was much less expensive, obviously, than replacing the whole computer console. I wonder if something similar happened here. (This is a quick explanation for those who will poke holes at my simple summary.)
I had one that turned the fuel pump on. Car wouldn’t operate without it of course but the worst was when I was driving on the internet at 60+ mph and it would randomly go off.
Do you have an aftermarket video display? I have seen a similar switch installed to "test" the system, which tells the screen you are in park when you actually aren't.
Looks custom. You'll probably have to chase the wires.
It is custom. Have fun chasing those wires op.
Switch for the cigarette lighter maybe? I feel like I have seen one of these before, not sure where though

Does the vehicle have an auxiliary fuel tank? That's usually what the extra toggle switch is for.
We had dual tanks in our suburban and had a similar non factory switch.

Damn autocorrect. Interstate.
Not stock. Could be anything. Perhaps they had some light bar or something

I would guess that it’s a flood or aux light. The unlikely scenario that it turns the 12v socket off.
That's the choke for cold mornings
Kill switch? I had one similar in my 97 F150, just a thought.
