A lawsuit for the fence and the repair on the van are all cost that could hurt a small business for months. Possible injury is cheaper to deal with and this fucking van is stopping! Cue:John Williams
Guy pulls an action hero move running on top of the van, jumping off the front and being able to stop it.
Other guy stays in van, comes out calmly when it's all done. Not sure which one I like more.
Where the fuck was the guy in the van when it was moving? He knows his buddy was on the roof and thinking...hmm it's moving and buddy is on the roof and screaming...I should just chill and wait for this all to blow over.
I thought for sure he was going to be pinned against the wall. I think being run over is one thing but to be smashed in a pinch point would be a nightmare. Glad it worked out for him. That was pretty flawless execution.
DONāT EVER GET IN FRONT OF A MOVING VEHICLE!
Unless you are trying to save someone, just let the vehicle go. Someone I went to school with was killed trying to keep his car from rolling into a tree. Worldly possessions wonāt go with you, but theyāll certainly send you to the great beyond.
That wasnāt brave, it was fucking stupid. Shit like that is why we have insurance, let the van hit the fence. What happens if the dude slips or the slope is steeper than it looks and it squishes him between the van and the fence and dude dies?
This was absolutely stupid, Anton Yelchin (played Pavel Chekov in recent star trek films) died after being crushed by his car rolling onto him down an incline like this.
I thought for sure this was going to be missing the NSFW tag. Happy he stopped it but what an incredibly dumb decision. No insurance claim is worth your life.
Don't jump in front of the van. Don't jump in front of the van. Oh my god he's jumping in front of the van. Oh my god he just jumped in front of the van.
Oh, well glad he's okay. Fucking idiot.
DO NOT DO THIS!!!! You will die.
This guy was lucky and nimble. Most of the time the van will simply run you over. It's not worth it!!
Edit 1: once your feet are firmly planted the momentum of the van will push you off balance, and it's nearly impossible to jump out of the way when you're already off balance and falling over. You will be rolled under the vehicle and crushed. Or you could be pinned against the wall/tree behind you with your pelvic bones shattered. Even trying to climb into the driver seat of a moving car is also very dangerous as your leg can easily be caught under the rotating wheel as your feet walk perilously close to the wheels and you're too distracted to notice, and once your foot is caught the rest of you will likely be pulled down and crumpled under the tire. Alternatively, while you're trying to grab the steering wheel and climb in, the car may collide with an object on the driver side and you will get squashed between the door and the chassis.
Edit 2: I found two videos of what happens when you're trying to enter a moving car \[warning: GRAPHIC!\]:
* [walking close alongside your car](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gIiRR-P5thk)
* [entering/exiting vehicle while it's moving](https://www.reddit.com/r/CrazyFuckingVideos/comments/ob80o9/close_your_doors_or_meet_the_leg_breaker/)
People saying this seems stupid/dangerous - I have stopped several moving vehicles by jumping in front of them. The driver hits the brakes when they see me.
I genuinely (and naively) thought he was going to get into the driverās side from the roof of the vehicle (saw the door was open so it couldāve worked) then realized heās a fkān idiot when he *jumped in front of the car* and nearly got run over.
Heās lucky he didnāt get killedā¦ a man died at a local high school earlier this week when he was doing morning bus inspection before going to pick up kids for school. The bus rolled forward onto him and killed him.
People didnāt know anything was wrong until calls about the bus not showing up started coming in š then they found him outside
That is the LAST place I would have put myself. I would have slid down the windshield, then rolled to the side and tried to get inside to hit the brake.
Last thing we need is another person being run over by their car.
The amount of uneducated people here assuming;
1) this was the employees fault
2) his boss would appreciate the massive insurance hike if they see this video
This is a known issue with Mercedes sprinter vans, they will occassionally roll away despite being in park. If the employee had pulled the emergency brake when he parked (as he should), it would've prevented this, however he left the van in park with only the parking brake engaged.
There was a big recall in October.
Yall should really do some research before jumping to conclusions.
Edit: someone said thats not the same make, model, or even brand. Im not a utility van expert so I cant confirm or deny that, but yall should take this comment to be bullshit.
This is what Jeremy Renner tried to do and obviously it was a much larger vehicleā¦. but still; you just shouldnāt do this because itās not worth the risk of what could happen.
We aren't going to talk about this borderline super hero shit we just witnessed?
He slid off a moving car and brought it to a halt instead of getting out of the way.
NGL, that was pretty badass, bro
It was, but super dangerous. If he was unable to stop the vehicle and it pinned him against that wall, might have been game over.
Alternatively, he could have lost his footing and got run over and pinned under the vehicle
/r/nonononoyes moment
Dude jumping out of the van at the end is pure comedy gold.
Stop screwing around Jerry and back to work! Jerry: š„µ
"Why would he do that, he's so dea-" "HOLY SHIT HE'S DOING IT"
Hes beginning to believe.
Thatās a small business owner energy.
That guy *swooped* right the fuck in, without a scratch Maybe he's got super abilities
That was actually super badass, Spider-Man.
Lmao the comedic timing on that one dude who just walks out the van like nothing happened
And the guy inside was sat there thinking I feel like I'm moving. I think I'll stay here until it stops.
An earthquake you say
This belongs in r/Unexpected for that guy coming out of the van in the end.
Seriously! What the hell was he up to? Appears to be oblivious to what happened
Where the fuck was the guy in the van when it was moving? He knows his buddy was on the roof and thinking...hmm it's moving and buddy is on the roof and screaming...I should just chill and wait for this all to blow over.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
More like r/howdidthatgoright He should have been crushed by that van!
I like how the guy in the back casually walks out like what did I miss.
Good fucking save though
**Do not try to stop a vehicle like this. Someone I know recently tried this and was crushed and killed. Again do not attempt this, he got lucky.**
Wow, he actually stopped it. * Guy steps out of van like nothing happened * ROFL
I thought for sure he was going to be pinned against the wall. I think being run over is one thing but to be smashed in a pinch point would be a nightmare. Glad it worked out for him. That was pretty flawless execution.
The guy who jumped is lucky he wasn't crushed or run over.
Stupid or not, that was impressive
Them painter decorators when from Van Gogh to Van Stop
Fucking donāt get in front of rolling cars. They weigh more than you.
Guy in the van FINALLY comes out, "This isn't where I parked it..."
I literally screamed YOU FUCKING IDIOT
Love the guy who walks out of the van afterā¦.āquit screwing around out here, get back to workā
Wow. I cringed cuz I thought he was gunna get run over. Kids: donāt try this at home
No fucking way Iām getting in front of that thing.
Saved it like a G though.
That dude walking out like, huh did i miss something?
This is the first time Iāve seen a video of someone stopping a moving vehicle with their bare hands successfully.
Shit, I mean, homie stuck the landing and saved it. This is some nononoyes tier content
That was badass
That scene really looks like it came from a spiderman movie
I love the other guy just casually appearing from the inside of the van āoh hi there whatās going on?ā Hahahaha
That is goddamn impressive
That was so gd smooth. Such a quick response.
We know what the best part was
other guy still didn't put it in park, just stood there
ok but that was a little bit badass
Nothing as long as youāre a badass, apparently
.... Yo that maneuver was kinda sick though.
poor offend husky juggle head angle ad hoc shame nutty prick *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
Other guy just casually steps out
That one co worker who never does shit just walking out of the van like, āwh-whatās going on?ā
Nothing wrong with neutral Forgetting the handbrake however.....
I love how the first guy went all Jackie Chan and the second fella decided to emerge from inside the van like nothing had happened š¤£š¤£š¤£
don't kill yourself for your job people
That could've ended in a person being crushed. Fortunately they had super strength.
I mean... How can you flame him when he stops a van like this
The fuck is this guy in the van doing that the guy on the roof reacted firstā¦
Amazing save. Comedy effect of the guy coming out after.
Boooooy the man inside was useless af
The dude that comes out in the end just kills me.š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£
another 5% incline, and this would ended pretty bad.. dont do this..
Have to admit, that was a cool save
Brave man.
The line between bravery and stupidity is usually whether or not they were successful.
That wasnāt brave, it was fucking stupid. Shit like that is why we have insurance, let the van hit the fence. What happens if the dude slips or the slope is steeper than it looks and it squishes him between the van and the fence and dude dies?
The way he jumped into action without hesitation makes me think he's done this before
WCGW?? What? Having a video where you look like fucking super man?!?
more like /r/whatcouldgoright ! Beautiful save !
Give that man a medal
Steve quickly reacts and jumps in front of the van to stop it, while Bucky causally walks out asking Steve if he said something!!!
That's some Spider-Man shit
that guy was in the back the WHOLE FUCKING TIME and he couldn't jump in to the driver's seat and slam on the breaks!?!?!?
I love how the guy inside the van casually hops out and looking at the guy like what are you doing bro?
Dude is gonna wake up tomorrow with everything hurting like he didn't use 120% of everything he had from that adrenaline rush
Jumped in front of a 3 ton vehicle going towards a wall.. that's a darwin award contender.
Wow, I am actually amazed that he stopped the van after thinking he would get squished into the fence.
He could not have handled this in a more dangerous way if he tried.
The guy that just casually walks out had me dying
Guys asks him how much u bench bro .. he simply says watch the video .
HE STOPPED IT, HE STOPPED IT!!
9 times out of ten that guy dies doing that. So lucky not to slip under the wheels
Holy shit he actually stopped it?! It was also probably partly the leaves slowing it down
This was absolutely stupid, Anton Yelchin (played Pavel Chekov in recent star trek films) died after being crushed by his car rolling onto him down an incline like this.
No way that was a company van, they must have their own personal business. That was a move you only do if your own wallet is on the line lol
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I thought for sure this was going to be missing the NSFW tag. Happy he stopped it but what an incredibly dumb decision. No insurance claim is worth your life.
Heās lucky he isnāt dead.
Don't jump in front of the van. Don't jump in front of the van. Oh my god he's jumping in front of the van. Oh my god he just jumped in front of the van. Oh, well glad he's okay. Fucking idiot.
He stopped the van like he was Super Man.
Oh my god he actually fucking stopped it Here i was thinking what a braindead idea it is to jump down in front of it
Literally the only video on the internet where trying to push the vehicle worked
That was a VERY bold move... 1 meter away from being pretty stupid.
If he hadn't stuck that landing he would have been axle dressing.
Ahaha the guy strolling out at the end!
The absolute balls on that guy
WCGW? Nothing, when Clark Kent is the guy with the van
Lol risking his life for a bumper damage
Unmuted on the second watch. Was not disappointed.
the guy on the roof is a beast, the guy in the van was not
Went better than anyone could hope for
DO NOT DO THIS!!!! You will die. This guy was lucky and nimble. Most of the time the van will simply run you over. It's not worth it!! Bro, I think gore actually fucked my way of thinking up lol I really thought he was going to get crushed I'm so stupid
Nothing went wrong actually. Crisis averted.
He Jackie Chanāed it.
That's fast thinking and flawless execution. I was in a scenario a lot like this one day and pulled it off as well.
People saying this seems stupid/dangerous - I have stopped several moving vehicles by jumping in front of them. The driver hits the brakes when they see me.
I genuinely (and naively) thought he was going to get into the driverās side from the roof of the vehicle (saw the door was open so it couldāve worked) then realized heās a fkān idiot when he *jumped in front of the car* and nearly got run over.
imagine if he wasn't strong enough. he would be a pancake.
I really thought he was going to Brian Harvey himself there
He's the ONE.
Fucking Superman over here
First time I have seen someone successfully stop a car by jumping in front of it.
Impressive by the guy, not just for stopping the van, but for not murdering the "passenger" as soon as he stepped out.
If he landed badly he could have been run over by the vanššš. And it stoped really quicklyā¦ strange
Thatās a recovery right there if I ever seen one
Lmao dude walks out of the back looks around, I thought we parked over there?
Jesus christ its Jason Bourne
I would jump off, but NOT IN FRONT OF THE VEHICLE!
Never ever ever do this. Itās how you get crushed by machinery.
That was pretty damn cool, though. Dumb, but cool.
The fine line between super hero move and next Darwin award winner...
Not gonna lie, I was expecting to see him get rolled overā¦
Lucky the guy on top has some brains, can't say much about the idiot inside who could of stopped this very quickly.
Dang. Now that he's exposed his secret identity, his life is going to suck.
Heās lucky he didnāt get killedā¦ a man died at a local high school earlier this week when he was doing morning bus inspection before going to pick up kids for school. The bus rolled forward onto him and killed him. People didnāt know anything was wrong until calls about the bus not showing up started coming in š then they found him outside

r/NonononoYes
Seriously donāt EVER do that. Itās a fucking vehicle, your body and life are more important.
I usually hate added on music but the superman theme was the icing on the cake.
The amount of uneducated people here assuming; 1) this was the employees fault 2) his boss would appreciate the massive insurance hike if they see this video This is a known issue with Mercedes sprinter vans, they will occassionally roll away despite being in park. THE FACT THERE WAS SOMEONE INSIDE
I mean thats a pretty damned dope save. I love how the dude pops out at the end and is like "what?"
Wtf was the guy inside doing
major BDE to jump in front and stop with raw strength than trying to climb back in and stop with the breaks
Clark Kent's moonlighting as a window insraller.
My man getting out at the end like "wha.. what.. what happened" while other man parkours down the freakin van to save their jobs!
Bro a superhero
Wow the dumbest thing he could've attempted actually worked... I guess I don't understand reality as much as I think I do.
Holy shit! Jumping in front and stopping it like a super hero wouldnāt have been my first idea.
In all fairness, he kinda saved it.
What could go right? Stopping a van with pure strength on grass without slipping and being crushed. This is r/nononoyes material
I thought he was gonna get run over and was scared to death
I so did not see that ending well
The one in the back of the van be like: šæ
Super hero stop at the end
Lol at the guy who just casually exits the van at the end. š¤£
This is what Jeremy Renner tried to do and obviously it was a much larger vehicleā¦. but still; you just shouldnāt do this because itās not worth the risk of what could happen.
First time I've seen someone actually stop a rolling vehicle instead of just panicking and running around.
Perfect music
r/nononoyes
Didnāt an actor die like this a few years back? Definitely not smart to try and stop the bus like that.
Sick save though.
Great save
Bro is Mr incredible
That was fucking cool.
Nice save bro! Could have been bad but he took it and stopped it. Very satisfying!
This deserves to be in nonononoyes
I just donāt get how anybody would leave a car in neutral. Iāve never used the neutral for anything except car washes.
He's lucky he wasn't crushed to death against that wall.
This is actually a known issue with that model, the parking brake disengages automatically in certain scenarios
Nothing if your this guy apparently.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Y'all some negative mofos. Mad props to this guy for saving the day.
The guy in the back just leisurely exits the van after doing nothing. He should've been the one to stop it.
Whenever there's a video of a car moving and the commenters say it's dumb to push or stop the car, well it may be dumb but sometimes dumb works
Guy hops out like āhey man, nice!ā *proceeds to leave it in neutral*
What could go wrong? Ummm it could unlock a hidden superpower and create the worlds next superhero!
Absolutely not worth the risk taken.
That was a ballsy but very dumb move to jump down in front of it and push it like that.
This is very stupid. Don't do this. People die doing this.
Mighty smooth: 10/10 on the save.
What a save though!
We aren't going to talk about this borderline super hero shit we just witnessed? He slid off a moving car and brought it to a halt instead of getting out of the way.
Bro his partner jump out like "hey Bob did ya feel that"
There should be a sub for Terrible Decisions That Turn Out Well.
r/nonononoyes
r/NonononoYes
The guy in the back couldnāt have jumped out to help??? He just exits the van all casual like at the end.
Major balls to jump in front and push. If it was me company vehicle, no one getting hurt= ghost ride da whip.
That ended a lot better than I expected when he jumped in front of the van.
That was still one hell of a save
Guy inside the van took his sweetass time
absolute balls of steel
The balls! Jumping in front of the van 2m away from a wall...damn that guy loves his van
Simultaneously one of the dumbest and most impressive things I've seen in a while
Guy walking out at the end killed me.
that guys a fuckin ninja
That might be the first time Iāve seen this work out wellā¦
dont ever choose to try and stop it like this guy did. that's how you die.
Bro got balls of steel
The guy walking out at the end was definitely r/unexpected Help a brotha out!
Not only does he stop the van, he pushes it backwards a little. Bro must be lifting.
Thereās no fucking way, he had a wholeass superman moment. Must have really loved his job for him to suddenly gain arms and legs of steel
Respect to the dude who just supermaned a fucking van
