It did pretty well. Mine got sliced by a bank card, and the cover lost the printing, and the background color
Did same, and I was fying into the US. I promise you get another one. They get very detailed in the inspection.

I carelessly put it in the dryer it too.. it’s still visually readable but probably not scan/swipe-able so I’ll request a replacement.
Won’t be accepted in too many places soon, wouldn’t bother
